Abstract

A lid spray head for a high pressure gas container is provided. The lid spray head includes an annular surrounding wall having an enclosed space and an opening portion; an L-shaped nozzle disposed in the enclosed space, integrally connected to an inner wall of the annular surrounding wall with a U-shaped elastic arm, and having a connection port and a nozzle port corresponding to each other, wherein the connection port is sleeved on a valve protruding member of the high pressure gas container and the nozzle port protrudes out of the opening portion; and a handle disposed out of the opening portion and integrally disposed at a bottom of the nozzle port of the L-shaped nozzle. When turning the handle, the L-shaped nozzle is integrally turned downwards to contact and press a valve protruding member of the high pressure gas container.

    RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application claims priority to Taiwan Application Serial Number 98222759, filed Dec. 4, 2009, which is herein incorporated by reference.
  • BACKGROUND
  • 1. Field of Invention
  • The present invention relates to a spray head. More particularly, the present invention relates to a lid spray head for a high pressure gas container.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • Referring to FIG. 1, a high pressure gas container 200 (for example, a is paint spray can, a lubricant jar or an insecticide spray can etc.) typically has a valve unit 220 at a container opening 210 thereof. The valve unit 220 typically includes a valve 221, a spring 222 disposed below the valve and a valve protruding member 223 connected to a top side of the valve and protruding upwards out of the high pressure gas container 200. When the valve protruding member 223 is pressed downwards, the spring 222 is compressed and the valve 221 is opened, so that a high pressure liquid 230 inside the high pressure gas container 200 is sprayed out through the valve protruding member 223. When the downward pressing force on the valve protruding member 223 is released, the spring 222 pushes the valve 221 upwards under resilient restoring force to close the valve 221 and the high pressure liquid stops spraying out.
  • A spray head device may be used to press down the valve protruding member 223 of the high pressure gas container 200 and control the spray of the high pressure liquid.
  • A conventional spray head device typically includes two components of a lid and a nozzle (not shown). The nozzle is disposed inside the lid and is connected to the valve protruding member 223 of the high pressure gas container 200. The lid is assembled at the container opening 210 of the high pressure gas container 200, and the lid is equipped with a pressing portion which is disposed above the nozzle. When pressing down the pressing portion of the lid, the nozzle is correspondingly forced to press down the valve protruding member 223, so that the high pressure liquid 230 in the high pressure gas container 200 is sprayed out through the nozzle. When the is pressing portion of the lid is released, the pressing towards the valve protruding member 223 by the nozzle is correspondingly released, and thus the spray of the high pressure liquid stops.
  • However, according to the conventional spray head device, the two components of the lid and the nozzle have to be separately fabricated, and then assembled into a spray head structure, thereby increasing the costs of the moulds and increasing the time and costs of fabricating and assembling. Therefore, the conventional spray head device needs improvement.
  • SUMMARY
  • Accordingly, the present invention is directed to providing a lid spray head for a high pressure gas container, so that one object may possess the function of both a lid and a nozzle.
  • According to the above aim, an aspect of the present invention provides a lid spray head for a high pressure gas container. The lid spray head includes an annular surrounding wall forming an enclosed space inside and forming an opening portion on a side of the annular surrounding wall; an L-shaped nozzle disposed in the enclosed space, integrally connected to an inner wall of the annular surrounding wall with a U-shaped elastic arm, and having a connection port and a nozzle port corresponding to each other, wherein the connection port is sleeved on a valve protruding member of the high pressure gas container and has an inner protruding wall abutting against a top of the valve protruding member, and the nozzle port protrudes out of the opening portion; and a handle disposed out of the opening portion and integrally disposed at a bottom of the nozzle port of the L-shaped nozzle. When turning the handle, the L-shaped nozzle may be integrally turned downwards to contact and press a valve protruding member of the high pressure gas container. In this manner, a single object may possess the function of both a lid and a nozzle.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, the U-shaped elastic arm has a bending connection portion facing towards the high pressure gas container, and when the handle is turned inwards, the L-shaped nozzle may be integrally driven to rotate downwards by taking the bending connection portion as a shaft.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, a top of the lid spray head is connected to a protection lid which is disposed on a top side of the L-shaped nozzle to prevent that the L-shaped nozzle is turned accidentally.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, a bottom edge of the annular surrounding wall is formed with a snap ring which is buckled on a bottom edge of the container opening of the high pressure gas container, so that the lid spray head and the high pressure gas container are combined together.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The aforementioned and other technique, characteristics and effects of the present invention are clearly presented in the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, FIGS. 1 to 3 illustrate a structural view of a lid spray head for a high pressure gas container according to an embodiment of the present invention, an exploded view of the lid spray head and the high pressure gas container, and a sectional view of a combination of the lid spray head and the high pressure gas container.
  • As shown in the figures, in regard with a high pressure gas container 200 adopted in a lid spray head for a high pressure gas container according to an embodiment of the present invention, a container opening 210 is equipped with a valve unit 220. The valve unit 220 includes a valve 221, a spring 222 disposed below the valve, and a valve protruding member 223 connected to a top side of the valve and protruding upwards out of the high pressure gas container 200. A high pressure liquid 230 is stored inside the high pressure gas container 200.
  • As shown in the figures, in regard with the lid spray head for a high pressure gas container according to an embodiment of the present invention, an annular lid is integrally formed. The lid nozzle 100 of the present invention includes an annular surrounding wall 110, an L-shaped nozzle 120 and a handle 140 which are connected.
  • The annular surrounding wall 110 forms an enclosed space 111 inside, and an opening portion 112 is formed on a side of the annular surrounding wall 110. The L-shaped nozzle 120 is disposed in the enclosed space 111, and is integrally connected to an inner wall of the annular surrounding wall 110 with a U-shaped elastic arm 130. The L-shaped nozzle 120 has a connection port 121 and a nozzle port 122 corresponding to each other, wherein the connection port 121 is sleeved on a valve protruding member 223 of the high pressure gas container 200, and the connection port 121 has an inner protruding wall 123 abutting against a top of the valve protruding member 223. When the L-shaped nozzle 120 is operated, the valve protruding member 223 is correspondingly forced. The nozzle port 122 protrudes out of the annular surrounding wall 110 through the opening portion 112.
  • The handle 140 is disposed out of the opening portion 112, and is integrally disposed at a bottom of the nozzle port 122 of the L-shaped nozzle 120. In addition, the U-shaped elastic arm 130 has a bending connection portion 131 facing towards the high pressure gas container 200. When turning the handle 140, the L-shaped nozzle 120 may be turned downwards by taking is the bending connection portion 131 as a shaft. When the handle is released, the L-shaped nozzle 120 is restored to the original position. The U-shaped elastic arm 130 integrally connects the L-shaped nozzle 120 and the annular surrounding wall 110, and additionally provides a tolerance for a moving travel of the L-shaped nozzle 120.
  • A top of the lid spray head 100 is connected to a protection lid 150, and the protection lid 150 is disposed on a top side of the L-shaped nozzle 120. When the high pressure gas container 200 is in an initial unused state (for example, during storage, transportation or exhibited on racks for sale), the L-shaped nozzle 120 may be avoided from being turned accidentally.
  • A bottom edge of the annular surrounding wall 110 is formed with a snap ring 113, which is buckled on a bottom edge of the container opening 210 of the high pressure gas container 200, so that the lid spray head 100 and the high pressure gas container 200 are combined as a whole.
  • In regard with the lid spray head for the high pressure gas container of the present invention, when it is used for the first time, the protection lid 150 is peeled off from the lid spray head 100, so that the top surface of the L-shaped nozzle 120 is not limited and can be turned by the handle 140.
  • In the usage of spraying gas, a user turns the handle 140 inwards by fingers, the handle 140 integrally drives the L-shaped nozzle 120 to rotate downwards by taking the bending connection portion 131 as the shaft, and thus the inner protruding wall 123 of the L-shaped nozzle 120 correspondingly forces the valve protruding member 223 of the high pressure gas container 200 to press downwards, so that the spring 222 is compressed and the valve 221 is opened (as shown in FIG. 3), and the high pressure liquid 230 inside the high pressure gas container 200 is sprayed out through the valve protruding member 223 and the L-shaped nozzle 120. To stop spraying gas, just release the inward turning of the handle 140, and then the spring 222 pushes the valve 221 upwards under the resilient restoring force to close the valve 221, and the high pressure liquid 230 stops spraying. At the same time, the L-shaped nozzle 120 rotates upwards to the original position by taking the bending connection portion 131 as the shaft under the resilience of the U-shaped elastic arm 130 (as shown in FIG. 2).
  • According to the lid spray head for the high pressure gas container of an embodiment of the present invention, a single object may possess the function of both a lid and a nozzle, so the fabrication, installation and operation are easy and the application is good.
  • Although the present invention has been described with reference to the above embodiments, these embodiments are not intended to limit the present invention. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope or spirit of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of the present invention shall be defined by the appended claims.

Claims (5)

1. A lid spray head for a high pressure gas container disposed on a container opening of the high pressure gas container, wherein the container opening is equipped with a valve unit having a valve protruding member and the lid spray head is an integrally formed annular lid, and the lid spray head comprises:
an annular surrounding wall forming an enclosed space inside and forming an opening portion on a side of the annular surrounding wall;
an L-shaped nozzle disposed in the enclosed space, integrally connected to an inner wall of the annular surrounding wall with a U-shaped elastic arm, and having a connection port and a nozzle port corresponding to each other, wherein the connection port is sleeved on a valve protruding member of the high pressure gas container and has an inner protruding wall abutting against a top of the valve protruding member, and the nozzle port protrudes out of the opening portion; and
a handle disposed out of the opening portion and integrally disposed at a bottom of the nozzle port of the L-shaped nozzle.
2. The lid spray head for a high pressure gas container of claim 1, wherein the U-shaped elastic arm has a bending connection portion facing towards the high pressure gas container.
3. The lid spray head for a high pressure gas container of claim 1, wherein a top of the lid spray head is connected to a protection lid and the protection lid is disposed on a top side of the L-shaped nozzle.
4. The lid spray head for a high pressure gas container of claim 1, wherein a bottom edge of the annular surrounding wall is formed with a snap ring and the snap ring is buckled on a bottom edge of the container opening of the high pressure gas container.
5. The lid spray head for a high pressure gas container of claim 3, wherein a bottom edge of the annular surrounding wall is formed with a snap ring and the snap ring is buckled on a bottom edge of the container opening of the high pressure gas container.
