Abstract

“ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN AIR COOLER EQUIPMENT WITH SELF-DRYING RESERVOIR OF CONDENSED WATER”, it consists essentially of an equipment (1) to be used in the tissue cooling, as auxiliary in procedures of laser treatment among others that in contact with the tissue produces a temporary cryoanalgesia, whose distinction is the fact of the coil (2Q) of the hot phase of the gas is located inside the reservoir (3) catcher of water from thaw, promoting its evaporation throughout the use of the equipment (1).

Description

  • This patent of Utility Model request deals with the a new “ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN AIR COOLER EQUIPMENT WITH SELF-DRYING RESERVOIR OF CONDENSED WATER”, notably of a air cooler for medical and/or therapeutic use applied in procedures of treatment of the skin with laser/pulsed irradiation, or even in invasive treatments, where it is desirable to create temporary analgesia in the area to be treated, which distinguishes for presenting a way of heating for evaporation of the condensed water by means of the hot phase of the cooling gas.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • It is of knowledge of the technicians in this subject that the cryotherapy is the application of any substance in the body that results in a removal of the corporal heat, reducing consequently the tissue temperature.
  • The physiological effects caused by the use of the cryotherapy are: anesthesia, reduction of pain, reduction of muscular spasm, relaxation, improvement of the amplitude of movement, stimulation of the joint rigidity, reduction of metabolism, reduction of inflammation, reduction of edema, breaking of “pain—spasm—pain” cycle, etc.
  • The right choice of the application method should be based, mainly, in accordance with area to be treated, where the application time varies such in relation to the used method as to the area. For instance, a joint that presents minor thickness of the fat tissue, the time necessary to reach the cooling will be lesser than of a joint with bigger amount of this kind of tissue.
  • Thus, the use of the technique of skin cooling has being used, as already commented, for applications of dermatological lasers, as much for relief of pain, how much for protection of the epidermis related to the thermal lesions. On the other hand, the same technique is also used for invasive treatments, as injection of botulinic toxin, fillers, chemical peelings, or even in small surgeries, as auxiliary in the handling of pain.
  • In the current state of the technique, it is known equipment whose function is to generate cold air in a band of temperature ideal to generate analgesia in the area submitted to the medical and/or aesthetic procedure.
  • Briefly, the principle of functioning is based on the normal cycle of refrigeration, where a compressor launches the compressed and in high temperature gas in direction to the condenser, where exchange heat with the environment (hot phase) arriving at the evaporator through an expansion valve, transforming it into the liquid state that makes it to lose pressure and consequent evaporation in the coil of the evaporator, where absorbs heat of the interior (cold phase). The coil in reference enters in a cold chamber that receives air caught from the environment, by means of a radial compressor. This air acquires an extremely low temperature, something about −20° to −30° C., from where, by hose, it is applied in the surface to be submitted to some kind of procedure.
  • The ice generated in the cold phase becomes necessary the use of a reservoir of catching of water derived from the thaw. In this manner, such reservoir should be constantly drained throughout the day, in order to prevent its overflow that, besides to be extremely uncomfortable for the user, also represents a source of contamination when of the contact with the environment.
  • Other negative aspects of the known equipment relates to the exceed dimensional and the high cost, as well as, in some cases, the deficient cooling.
  • Aware of the state of the technique, its gaps and limitations, the inventor, active person in this segment, after research and studies, created this “ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN AIR COOLER EQUIPMENT WITH SELF-DRYING RESERVOIR OF CONDENSED WATER”, that presents particularities enough to become its use more practical, promoting lesser risk decurrent of possible contamination by overflow of the reservoir of thaw of the coil of the cold chamber.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Basically the innovation solves the above-mentioned problem by positioning of the coil in the stretch of the hot cycle of the gas inside the reservoir of catching of the thaw water, with the purpose of making a draining decurrent of the evaporation.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • “ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN AIR COOLER EQUIPMENT WITH SELF-DRYING RESERVOIR OF CONDENSED WATER”, object of this patent of Utility Model request, consists essentially of equipment (1) to be used in tissue cooling, as auxiliary in procedures of laser treatment, among others, that in contact with the tissue produces a temporary cryoanalgesia, whose distinction is the fact of the coil (2Q) of the hot phase of the gas is located inside the reservoir (3) catcher of water from thaw, promoting its evaporation throughout the use of the equipment (1).
  • The air cooler equipment (1) for application in tissue is formed from chassis (4) that comprehends a refrigeration compressor (5) that directs the compressed air to a condenser (6) where it exchanges heat with the environment, passing to the liquid state. To the end of the condenser (6), the liquid passes by an expansion valve (V) that reduces its pressure, entering in the evaporator (7) coil (2E), in the cold phase, being this coil directed by a cold chamber (8), comprehending the coil (2E) above-mentioned. In this manner, air (A) caught in the environment is launched by compressor (9), of high-pressure, inside said chamber (8), where it has the temperature reduced to a band of −20, −35° C., having superior opening (10) from where it derivates an applicator hose (11).
  • More particularly, the innovation consists of the positioning of the coil of the hot phase (2Q) inside the reservoir (3) of catching of water of thaw of the evaporator (7), in this way drying the water by evaporation decurrent of the high temperature of this gas phase. Another improvement is the fact of the transport handle is ballasted in the chassis of the equipment, what guarantees its removal and/or transport with security.
  • The constructiveness above described as a whole adjusts with the necessities of the users, eliminating the need of the frequent draining of the reservoir (3), being the inventive concept in the way as said draining is made.

Claims (1)

1. “ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN AIR COOLER EQUIPMENT WITH SELF-DRYING RESERVOIR OF CONDENSED WATER”, wherein it is characterized by the positioning of the coil of the hot phase inside the reservoir of capture of water from thaw of the evaporator that has the water dried by evaporation.
