Abstract

A self-cleaning device comprises a main body with a to-be cleaned member, a lid capable of sliding with respect to the main body, and a cleaning member fixed on the lid. The cleaning member is located between the lid and the to-be-cleaned member. The cleaning member moves with the lid to slide against and clean the to-be cleaned member when the lid is slid with respect to the main body.

Description

    BACKGROUND
  • 1. Technical Field
  • The present disclosure relates to self-cleaning devices, and particularly to a self-cleaning device with a main body and a lid capable of sliding with respect to the main body.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • An electronic device commonly includes a display for users to view information. However, fingers of the user often contact with the display and will leave dirt or grime on the display screen. The user must frequently clean the display screen, which is inconvenient.
  • Therefore, there is room for improvement in the art.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • Many aspects of the embodiments can be better understood with references to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a self-cleaning device in accordance with an exemplary embodiment.
  • FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the self-cleaning device of FIG. 1.
  • FIG. 3 is a schematic view of the self-cleaning device of FIG. 1 in use.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The disclosure is illustrated by way of example and not by way of limitation in the figures of the accompanying drawings in which like references indicate similar elements. It should be noted that references to “an” or “one” embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean at least one.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a self-cleaning device 99 includes a main body 100, a lid 200 capable of sliding with respect to the main body 100, and a cleaning member 300 fixed on the lid 200. The self-cleaning device 99 may be a cell phone, a personal digital assistant (PDA) or other electronic device.
  • The main body 100 includes an upper surface 110 and two sidewalls 120 connected to opposite sides of the upper surface 110. The two sidewalls 120 are substantially perpendicular to the upper surface 110.
  • A to-be-cleaned member 112 is located on the upper surface 110. Each sidewall 120 defines a slot 122 parallel to the upper surface 110. In the embodiment, the to-be-cleaned member 112 may be a display screen. In others embodiments, the to-be-cleaned member 112 may be a keyboard.
  • The lid 200 includes a cover sheet 210 covering the upper surface 110, and two sliding members 220 respectively extending from opposite sides of the cover sheet 210. The two sliding members 220 are substantially perpendicular to the cover sheet 210, and slidable with respect to the two slots 122 respectively, such that the lid 200 is slidable with respect to the main body 100.
  • Each sliding member 220 includes a sliding portion 222, and a connecting portion 224 connecting the sliding portion 222 to the cover sheet 210. The two sidewalls 120 are located between the two connecting portions 224. The two sliding portions 222 are connected to ends of the two connecting portions 224 away from the cover sheet 210 and slidably mounted in the two slots 122 respectively.
  • The cleaning member 300 is fixed on the cover sheet 210 and located between the cover sheet 210 and the to-be-cleaned member 112. The cleaning member 300 is larger than the to-be-cleaned member 112.
  • In use, when a user slides the lid 200 with respect to the main body 100, the cleaning member 300 moves with the lid 200 to slide against and clean the to-be-cleaned member 112.
  • For conveniently replacing the cleaning member 300, the lid 200 is capable of being detached from the main body 100.
  • It is to be understood, however, that even though information and advantages of the present embodiments have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structures and functions of the present embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only; and that changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the present embodiments to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.

Claims (7)

1. A self-cleaning device, comprising:
a main body with a to-be cleaned member;
a lid capable of sliding with respect to the main body; and
a cleaning member fixed on the lid, and located between the lid and the to-be-cleaned member, the cleaning member moving with the lid to slide against and clean the to-be-cleaned member when the lid is slid with respect to the main body.
2. The self-cleaning device according to claim 1, wherein the main body comprises an upper surface and two sidewalls connected to opposite sides of the upper surface; each sidewall defining a slot; the to-be cleaned member being located on the upper surface; the lid comprising a cover sheet covering the upper surface and two sliding members respectively extending from opposite sides of the cover sheet, the cleaning member being fixed on the cover sheet, the two sliding members being slidable with respect to the two slots respectively.

The self-cleaning device according to claim 3, wherein each sliding member comprises a sliding portion and a connecting portion connecting the sliding portion to the cover sheet; the two sidewalls being located between the two connecting portions; the two sliding portions being connected ends of the two connecting portions away from the cover sheet, and being slidably mounted in the two slots respectively.
4. The self-cleaning device according to claim 1, wherein the lid is capable of being detached from the main body.
5. The self-cleaning device according to claim 1, wherein the self-cleaning device is an electronic device, and the to-be-cleaned member is a display screen.
6. The self-cleaning device according to claim 1, wherein the cleaning member is larger than the to-be-cleaned member.
7. The self-cleaning device according to claim 1, wherein the self-cleaning device is an electronic device, and the to-be-cleaned member is a keyboard.
