Abstract

A solar jar lid is a solar panel a battery and led(s) encased in plastic. The plastic encasement is molded to fit the dimensions of a glass or plastic jar top by doing this the solar jar lid can be screwed onto a glass or plastic jar. The solar jar lid can be transferred from one glass or plastic jar to another of similar dimensions as well as be molded to fit glass or plastic jars or different dimensions. The solar jar lid is meant for outdoor use but can be charged outdoors and be brought indoors for providing light as well as be hung from an object either man made or one that occurs in nature or be placed on a flat surface.
