Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a breast enhancer and, more particularly, to an elastic, air-permeable breast enhancer for beautifying the breast shapes of a wearer.
  • A typical bra includes a pair of cups and back straps and/or shoulder straps. In some designs, cup pads are mounted inside or integrally formed with the cups to beautify the shapes of the breasts of the wearer. The cups and the cup pads generally include a front, convex face and a rear, concave face and can be made of foam material or cotton. Outer cloth layers can be sewn to the front and rear faces. However, the cups and the cup pads are liable to deform due to insufficient elastomericity while providing a rough feel. In another option, a bladder containing oil or air is sandwiched between front and rear fabric layers to move the breasts toward each other or to beautify the breast shapes. However, the bladder has poor air permeability and is liable to leak under washing or squeezing. In a further option, the bladder is replaced by a silicon rubber pad to avoid leakage of oil or air. However, the silicon rubber pad is thick, heavy, and impermeable to air and provides a rigid feel.
  • Thus, a need exists for a novel breast enhancer that is light, permeable to air, elastic, durable while beautifying the breast shapes of the wearer.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention solves this need and other problems in the field of beautification of breast shapes by providing, in a preferred form, an elastic, air-permeable breast enhancer including an elastic body having a front, convex face and a rear, concave face spaced from the front, convex face along an axis. The body includes a plurality of air channels each extending from the front, convex face through the rear, concave face along the axis and each having a front opening in the front, convex face and a rear opening in the rear, concave face. Each of at least a portion of the plurality of air channels includes at least one enlarged section intermediate the front and rear openings and having a diameter in a radial direction perpendicular to the axis larger than a remaining section of the air channel.
  • In preferred forms, each of the at least a portion of the plurality of air channels includes a plurality of enlarged sections spaced from each other along the axis. Two adjacent enlarged sections of each of the at least a portion of the plurality of air channels interconnected by an interconnecting section. Each interconnecting section of each of the at least a portion of the plurality of air channels has a diameter larger than the front and rear openings and smaller than the plurality of enlarged sections. The body is made of high molecular polymer. The breast enchanter is in the form of a cup or a cup pad. A plurality of massaging particles is formed on the rear, concave face. In some preferred forms, the breast enhancer further includes a front air permeable layer covering the front, convex face and a rear air permeable layer covering the rear, concave face. The front, convex face is intermediate the rear, concave face and the front air permeable layer along the axis. The rear, concave face is intermediate the front, convex face and the rear air permeable layer along the axis. The front and rear air permeable layers are made of cloth or foam material.
  • The present invention will become clearer in light of the following detailed description of illustrative embodiments of this invention described in connection with the drawings.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

  • All figures are drawn for ease of explanation of the basic teachings of the present invention only; the extensions of the figures with respect to number, position, relationship, and dimensions of the parts to form the preferred embodiments will be explained or will be within the skill of the art after the following teachings of the present invention have been read and understood. Further, the exact dimensions and dimensional proportions to conform to specific force, weight, strength, and similar requirements will likewise be within the skill of the art after the following teachings of the present invention have been read and understood.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • An elastic, air-permeable brace enhancer according to the preferred teachings of the present invention is shown in the drawings and generally designated 1. In preferred forms shown in FIGS. 1, 3-9, the brace enhancer 1 is in the form of a cup. In another preferred form shown in FIG. 2, the brace enhancer 1 is in the form of a cup pad.
  • In the preferred forms shown in FIGS. 1-9, the brace enhancer 1 includes a body 11 having a shape conforming to a shape of a breast of a wearer wearing the brace enhancer 1. Specifically, the body 11 is elastic and has a front, convex face 12 and a rear, concave face 13 spaced from the front, convex face 12 along an axis. The body 11 is made of high molecular polymer including but not limited to polystyrene, propylene butadiene styrene resin, polyamide resin, polybutylene terephthalate, poly-p-phenylene sulfide, polyether ether ketone, polyimide, organic silicon rubber, polysiloxane, polymethyl methacrylate, cellulose resin, polyvinyl acetal resin, polyurethane resin, polyalkyd resin, phenolic resin, and combinations thereof to provide the body 11 with elastic shaping force.
  • In the preferred forms shown in FIGS. 1-9, the body 1 includes a plurality of air channels 14 each extending from the front, convex face 12 through the rear, concave face 13 along the axis and each having a front opening 15 in the front, convex face 12 and a rear opening 16 in the rear, concave face 13. Each of at least a portion of the air channels 14 includes one or more enlarged sections 17 intermediate the front and rear openings 15 and 16. Each enlarged section 17 has a diameter in a radial direction perpendicular to the axis larger than a remaining section of the air channel 14. Two adjacent enlarged sections 17 in the same air channel 14 are spaced from each other along the axis and interconnected by an interconnecting section 18 having a diameter larger than the front and rear openings 15 and 16 and smaller than the enlarged sections 17. A plurality of massaging particles 19 (FIG. 5) can be formed on the rear, concave face 13. It can be appreciated that the air channels 14 can be of the same size or of differing sizes according to needs. Likewise, the enlarged sections 17 can be of the same size or of differing sizes according to needs. Likewise, the interconnecting sections 18 can be of the same size or of differing sizes according to needs.
  • In the preferred form shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the body 11 further includes a front air permeable layer 21 covering the front, convex face 12 and a rear air permeable layer 22 covering the rear, concave face 13. The front, convex face 12 is intermediate the rear, concave face 13 and the front air permeable layer 21 along the axis. The rear, concave face 13 is intermediate the front, convex face 12 and the rear air permeable layer 22 along the axis. The front and rear air permeable layers 21 and 22 can be made of cloth or foam material.
  • In the preferred forms shown in FIGS. 1-9, the body 11 is elastic and air permeable. Furthermore, the body 11 is light, soft to touch, and durable without the risk of undesirable deformation, providing wearing comfort and beautifying the breast shapes of the wearer. When the body 11 is compressed (FIG. 7), it can restore its original shape rapidly.
  • Thus since the invention disclosed herein may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from the spirit or general characteristics thereof, some of which forms have been indicated, the embodiments described herein are to be considered in all respects illustrative and not restrictive. The scope of the invention is to be indicated by the appended claims, rather than by the foregoing description, and all changes which come within the meaning and range of equivalency of the claims are intended to be embraced therein.
