Description
- Reference non-provisional application already filed. Customer number is: 67761.
- Date receive at USPO Oct. 29, 2007.
- There has not been a new casino card game developed in many years that can be played in both a casino Poker Room environment, and in a Table game on the casino floor. It is not currently played in a live casino environment or in an on-line casino. However; it has been play by many players in home games around the kitchen table. Once it is offered by casinos I would expect many players to remember it and appreciate an option to only playing hold-em in the Poker Room.
- There are two versions of Seven Twenty-seven—a poker room version and a table game version.
- Seven Twenty-seven is a card game that contains similarities to poker and Blackjack. The object of the game is to obtain a hand with a point value closer to seven and/or twenty-seven than the hands of one's opponents. The Poker Room version of Seven Twenty-seven is a player against player game that involves bluffing, calling, raising, and other deceptions used in poker. The casino table game version is player against the Dealer similar to Blackjack. In both versions—the Dealer counts each player's hand as the cards are dealt. The game can be played live or on-line.
- Advantages of the games are: a unique card counting system (an Ace can be either one (1) or eleven (11). There are unlimited betting rounds in the poker room version. Any two starting hands are playable so there won't be as much folding of hands. There can be unlimited betting rounds which generate larger pots. Players have more options than in Hold-em. The Table Game version has more betting options than Blackjack. The game has more action and betting rounds than Hold-em or blackjack. In fact; the betting rounds can be unlimited depending upon the actions of the players. The rules of play allow the game to be prolonged and pots to grow large. There can be split pots or a single winner.
- The game is very adaptable to on-line gaming because of the necessity to count card values as cards are dealt; and the need to determine the winning hand(s) at the end of the game. On-line; the computer would do this instantaneously. In a live game; the Dealer would have to count card values and determine winners and losers as in blackjack. If you play Hold-em—you know that you can go numerous hands without getting a decent starting hand. In this game—any two starting cards are playable because of the options the player has throughout the hand. (This will encourage players NOT to fold.) The game lends itself to many variations and options that can be incorporated into the basic game.
- Dealer as a player or dealer ONLY.
- Cards can be dealt Up or Down at given points in the hand.

Claims (1)
1. This card game is different from other poker games and blackjack because it introduces some new concepts that are distinct.
The method of counting cards. In poker; cards have a value but are not counted. By counting cards you introduce an entirely different concept to poker. In addition; by giving the ace two values (as in blackjack), the player's options have been increased significantly.
The option to pass on one dealing round and make a bet or raise on a later dealing round. Again; player options are increased significantly, so that strategy and choices are not predictable.
Method of counting hand values. Counting aces as one or eleven, face cards as one half (½), and 2's through 10's at face value—allows card counting games to be expanded.
Unlimited betting rounds. Most poker games have a maximum of four betting rounds. The poker version of Seven Twenty-Seven has many more betting rounds. One player receiving a face card can prolong the game which requires all players to call bets to stay in the hand.
One winner or multiple winners. A hand can have a low winner and a high hand winner, as well as, a single winner both ways. A hand of Ace, Ace, and five (A,A,5) is a swing hand that wins both ways.
