Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a trash can, and more particularly to a trash can that may feed another trash bag thereon while the initial trash bag is packed away.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Arts
  • A conventional trash can has to be fitted another trash bag thereon while the initial trash bag is packed away, thus causing a tedious replacement of the trash bag.
  • As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the conventional trash can capable of feeding trash bags thereon comprises a main body 10, a mounting holder 20 and a rolling member 30, wherein the main body 10 includes three retaining pegs 101 disposed around the outer side thereof, and includes an elongated slot 102 mounted on the bottom thereof. The mounting holder 20 includes three engagement recesses 201 arranged on the inner side thereof and a receiving chamber 202 fixed on bottom thereof, and the rolling member 30 includes a plurality of trash bags rolled thereon. The retaining pegs 101 of the main body 10 are retained in the engagement recesses 201 of the mounting holder 20 correspondingly so that the main body 10 is combined with the mounting holder 20. In assembly, the rolling member 30 is affixed in the receiving chamber 202 of the mounting holder 20, and the forwardmost trash bag 301 of the rolling member 30 is pulled out of the elongated slot 102 of the main body 10 for being further fitted onto the main body 10 expandably, and then the main body 10 is engaged with the mounting holder 20. During replacing the trash bag, the initial trash bag 301 is packed and then lifted to pull another trash bag 301 outwardly, and by way of the tear-off line between the two trash bags 301, the initial trash bag 301 is accordingly removed easily.
  • However, such a conventional trash can still has the following disadvantages:
  • 1. The user has to further bind the opening of the trash bag 301 tightly, or the garbage in the bag 301 will fall off.
  • 2. In case the trash bag 301 is broken, the sewage will leak therefrom, generating pollution.
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a trash can capable of feeding trash bags thereon that may pack and replace the trash bag easily.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a trash can capable of feeding trash bags thereon that while the trash bag is broken to leak sewage therefrom, the storage tank of the mounting holder may be used to hold the sewage, obtaining hygiene purpose.
  • In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a trash can capable of feeding trash bags thereon comprising
  • a main body including a raised mounting holder formed on the bottom thereof and having a storage tank arranged therearound, and having a receiving chamber provided therein, and having an elongated slot disposed on the top surface thereof, and having two sidewalls, each including two opposite retaining holes fixed thereon, the main body further including a gap mounted on the periphery of the top thereof;
  • at least one locking member including two ends, each having a snap-on hook affixed thereon for engaging with the retaining hole of the mounting holder;
  • a rolling member fixed in the receiving chamber of the main body and including a plurality of trash bags, each connected together and rolled in a cylinder shape for being supported by the locking members, and the trash bags of the rolling member being pulled out of the elongated slot on the top surface of the mounting holder.
  • The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIGS. 3-5, a trash can capable of feeding trash bags thereon in accordance with the present invention comprises a main body 1, two locking members 2, a rolling member 3 and a tape 4, wherein the main body 1 includes a raised trapezoid-shaped mounting holder 11 formed on the bottom thereof and having a storage tank 12 arranged therearound, and having a receiving chamber 13 provided therein, and having an elongated slot 111 disposed on the top surface thereof, and having two sidewalls, each including two opposite retaining holes 112 fixed thereon. The main body 1 includes a gap 14 mounted on the periphery of the top thereof and includes an engagement device 15 attached on the periphery proximate to the gap 14 and having a hollow pivotal shaft 151, an auxiliary peg 152 and a cutting member 153. Each of the locking members 2 is formed in the shape of a semicircle and includes two ends, each having a snap-on hook 21 affixed thereon. The rolling member 3 includes a plurality of trash bags 31, each connected together and rolled in a cylinder shape, and between each two trash bags 31 are arranged a tear-off line (not shown). Furthermore, since the tape 4 is well known, a further detailed description herein is believed unnecessary
  • In assembly, the rolling member 3 is fixed in the receiving chamber 13 of the main body 1, and the trash bags 31 of the rolling member 3 is pulled out of the elongated slot 111 on the top surface of the mounting holder 11 and then the snap-on hooks 21 of the locking members 2 are engaged with the retaining holes 112 of the mounting holder 11 so as to support the rolling member 3. Thereafter, the tape 4 is fitted onto the pivotal shaft 151 of the engagement device 15 and then pulled to pass through the lower side of the auxiliary peg 152 for being fixed on the cutting member 153, thereby finishing the assembly.
  • Referring further to FIGS. 6 and 7, in operation, the forwardmost trash bag 31 of the rolling member 3 is pulled upwardly through the elongated slot 111 of the mounting holder 11 for expandably fitted onto the main body 1.
  • During packing the trash bag 31 away as illustrated in FIG. 8, the opening of the trash bag 31 is pulled toward the gap 14 of the main body 1 and twisted tightly, and then the tape 4 is pulled and cut by the cutting member 153 so as to bind the trash bag 31. Thereafter, the bound trash bag 31 is lifted to pull another trash bag 31 outward, such that the bound trash bag 31 is removed by using the tear-off line, thereby fitting the next trash bag 31 onto the main body 1.
  • After running out of the trash bag 31, the locking members 2 are compressed to disengage the snap-on hooks 21 from the retaining holes 112 of the mounting holder 11, thus separating the locking members 2 apart from the main body 1 so as to feed another rolling member 3.
  • Besides, each of the locking members 2 allows to be formed in the shape of a flexible strip so as to be engaged in the retaining hole 112 of the mounting holder 11 flexibly.
  • It can be clearly seen from the preceding accounts on the features of the present invention that the trash can capable of feeding trash bags thereon of the present invention has the following advantages:
  • 1. During packing the trash bag 31 away, the opening of the trash bag 31 is pulled toward the gap 14 of the main body 1 and twisted tightly, and then the tape 4 is pulled and cut by the cutting member 153 so as to bind the trash bag 31, thereby packing the trash bag easily.
  • 2. While the trash bag 31 is broken to leak sewage therefrom, the storage tank 12 of the mounting holder 11 may be used to hold the sewage, obtaining hygiene purpose.
  • 3. The locking members 2 are produced at the low cost.
  • The invention is not limited to the above embodiment but various modifications thereof may be made. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and detail may be made without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
