Abstract

By way of example, the preferred modification for the pillowcase with a storage pocket to house a condom improvement, resolve in a flap closure. The flap closure now secures the condom from being misplace when continual movement occurs through out the entire pillowcase. The condom is secure inside the pocket by pushing the added flap in a downward motion with your fingers overlapping the insertion opening entrance. Moreover, pulling the flap in an upward motion open the non-stitch side to gain entry through out the pocket body where the condom can be retrieve. The flap closure is sewn into the pillowcase fabric ½ inch above the pocket entrance. The flap is the same measurement in width for the pocket, and it securely fit over the insertion opening evenly across on to the pocket.

Description

  • The invention improvement is a pillowcase with a storage pocket with an added flap closure that protects the condom from being misplaced or lost when the pillow or pillowcase experiences such movement. The flap materials can include cotton, silk, rayon, leather, jean etc. Moreover, the same exact material to engineer the pillowcase can be use to engineer the storage pocket and flap closure.
  • The pocket structure is a square shape form with three sides sewn into the side edges on to the pillowcase fabric. The sewing stitches could either be an over lock stitch, blind hem, straight stitch, etc. to secure the three sides on to the fabric. The protective flap has horizontal stitches going across the very top of the insertion opening. Of at least 1/2 inch are sewn above the insertion opening for securing the flap evenly in place over the pocket for the opening and closing purpose.
  • The substitute specification contains no new matter.
  • The non-stitched side allows the user of the pillowcase to have access to the condoms inside the pocket. By adding, the flap to the pocket will solve the problem from loosing the condom even when it is intend to house a condom. Therefore, the first invention with out the flap closure did not secure the condom inside the pocket well enough to prevent the condom from falling out through the open area.
  • The flap closure measurement is similar to the exact measurement of the top non-stitched opening insertion area for the pocket. The flap could have either a Velcro, button, snap, zipper, or a strap sewn, glued, etc. onto the fabric underneath the flap. (Opposite side)
  • The flap closure opens in an upward motion by using your fingers to pull the flap toward the pillowcase fabric. Moreover, pulling the flap in a downward motion with your fingers over the insertion opening on to the pocket upper body in order for the pocket to be close.
  • In the bed, the head and the body tend to move periodically putting the pillow in an awkward position that makes it extremely easily to misplace the condom. The flap closure will protect the storage pocket when the pillowcase encounters such movements on or off the bed. This will allow the user to feel safe and secure; when in need for that sensible decision to have access to a condom promotes responsible sexual activities for the male and female.

Claims (1)

1) The useful improvement for a pillowcase with condom storage pocket:
Wherein the improvement comprises, and the preventive aspect for the user will extremely benefit the flap closure for the pillowcase storage pocket. The flap closure has been added to the pocket to secure the condom inside the pocket when sudden movement could release the condom through the insertion opening causing the condom to be misplace or lost. The flap will protect over the entire insertion opening of the pocket when being close in a downward motion. In addition, in an upward motion, the insertion opening is accessible to enter and exit the condom through the pocket. This will allow the pocket to maintain its sole purpose from utilizing a compartment that will serve as an existence sewn in to the pillow case fabric, with in reach of a condom by being physically inserted and physically remove by the user.
