Abstract

The present invention discloses a golf club head, particularly a club head structure for driving a golf ball, and the golf club head includes a club head body and a striking surface, and the striking surface is substantially in a hemispherical shape or a semicircular tubular shape, such that the golf ball also has a circular contact surface for producing a reaction force during a collision with each other to produce an explosive force at a ball striking point and drive the golf ball to a farther driving distance and enhance the practicability and value of the golf club head structure.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a golf club head, and more particularly to a club head structure for driving a golf ball, and the golf club head comprises a club head body and a striking surface, and the striking surface is substantially in a hemispherical shape or a semicircular tubular shape, such that the golf ball also has a circular contact surface for producing a reaction force by the collision of the golf ball and the contact surface to give an explosive force at the ball striking point and strike a golf ball with a longer driving distance and enhance the gold club product and the value of the golf club head structure.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Golf is an elegant sport for people of different ages. Although the game takes a relatively long time to complete all holes of the golf course and consume much physical strength, yet it is good to both of our metal and physical health to walk on the golf court covered with green grasses, not only stretching our body, but also relaxing our mind. However, a beginner player or a player lacks of practices for a long time may not be able to strike the golf ball very far at a drive for each hole. As we all know, a standard golf court comes with 18 courses or holes, wherein four of them are standard par-three holes, four of them are standard par-five holes and ten of them are standard par-four holes. The length of the standard par-three course is approximately 250 yards, the length of the standard par-four course is approximately 251 to 470 yards, and the length of the standard par-five course is over 471 yards. In general, a traditional golf ball is driven by a club head as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and the club head 10 is substantially a hollow casing having a striking surface 11 on a lateral side of the club head 10, and the striking surface 11 comes with a slightly curved plane. In general, the club head 10 is used for a drive of the golf ball, and the golf ball 12 is placed on a tee 13 and positioned at an appropriate height above a green 14. During a drive, the striking surface 11 of the club head 10 strikes the golf ball 12 to drive the golf ball 12 to move in the golf course. However, most beginners or players lack of practice can only drive the ball with a driving distance of 80 to 150 yards only.
  • If a player wants to strike the golf ball to the farthest distance, conditions such as the striking force of the head of a golf club, the striking angle and the ball striking point must be taken into consideration for the best effect. It takes a long-time training and lots of practice before a player can achieve the aforementioned complicated requirements. Furthermore, the control of forces and the timing and position of swinging the golf club are intangible, and cannot be learned quickly by beginners. In view of the complicated swinging movement for driving a golf ball with the best performance of the ball striking point and its strength, the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience in the related industry to conduct extensive researches and experiments, and finally developed a golf club head structure in accordance with the present invention to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art, and enhance the plane striking surface of the club head and its short driving distance.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a golf club head, and particularly a club head structure for a drive of the golf ball, wherein the golf club head comprises a club head body and a striking surface. The striking surface is substantially in a hemispherical shape or a semicircular tubular shape, such that the contact surface is also in a circular shape as the golf ball to produce a reaction force to give an explosive force at the ball striking point (which is similar to a baseball pat and a baseball), and the golf ball can be driven to a farther driving distance to enhance the practicability and value of the product.
  • To make it easy for our examiner to understand the objective, advantages and performance of the present invention, we use preferred embodiments accompanied with related drawings for the detailed description of the present invention as follows. In FIG. 3, the invention provides a club head structure for driving a golf ball, wherein the club head 20 is substantially a hollow casing having a body of a golf club head 20 with a striking surface 21, and the striking surface 21 is a slightly curved hemispherical structure. In FIG. 4, the golf ball 12 is placed on a tee 13 and supported at an appropriate height above a green 14. During a drive, a hemispherical shape striking surface 21 on a lateral side of the club head 20 strikes a golf ball 12, such that the golf ball 12 is in contact with the striking surface 21 to produce an explosive force at a ball striking point for achieving a better driving distance.
  • Referring to FIG. 5 for a feasible structure in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the invention, the club head 30 is substantially a hollow casing having a striking surface 31 on a lateral side of the body of the golf club head 30, and the striking surface 31 is a semicircular tubular structure with a curvature along a transversal direction.
  • Referring to FIG. 6 for another feasible structure of the invention, the club head 40 is substantially a hollow casing having a striking surface 41 on a lateral side of the body of the golf club head 40, and the striking surface 41 is a semicircular tubular structure with a curvature along a longitudinal direction.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a structure of a prior art;
  • FIG. 2 is a schematic view of using a prior art;
  • FIG. 3 is a schematic view of a structure of the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is a schematic view of using the present invention;
  • FIG. 5 is a schematic view of another structure of the present invention; and
  • FIG. 6 is a schematic view of a further structure of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • In an application of the present invention with the aforementioned structural characteristics, an intangible striking force is used for produce a reaction force to give an explosive force at a ball striking point and drive the golf ball to a farther driving distance (over 350 yards), wherein the club head of the invention has a striking surface substantially in a hemispherical shape or a semicircular tubular shape and disposed on a lateral side of the club heard, and a circular contact surface for striking the golf ball.
  • In summation of the description above, the present invention improves over the prior art, and complies with the requirements of patent application, and thus is duly filed for patent application.
