Abstract

An electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket has a base, a frame, a control module and a display rack. The frame is attached to the base. The control module is remote controllable. The display rack has a rail a sliding bracket and a driving device. The rail is parallelly formed inside the frame. The sliding bracket is mounted with a flat panel display, is movably mounted on the rail and is driven by the driving device to move along the rail. The control module may be remote controllable to actuate the driving device to vertically move the flat panel display slidably.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of Invention
  • The present invention relates to a flat panel display bracket, and more particularly to a vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Flat Panel Displays (FPD) are thin and lightweight. Normally, the FPD is hung on a wall or placed in a television cabinet in a living room. However, because the FPD is hung or attached to a surface, changing a height of the FPD for adjusting a viewing angle of the FPD is not achieved easily.
  • The present invention provides an electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket to obviate or mitigate the shortcomings of the conventional setting methods of the FPD.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an electrical controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket allowing convenient vertical adjustment of a flat panel display (FPD).
  • The electrically controlled vertically adjustable FPD bracket has a base, a frame, a control module and a display rack. The frame is attached to the base. The control module is remote controllable. The display rack has a rail a sliding bracket and a driving device. The rail is parallelly formed inside the frame. The sliding bracket is mounted with an FPD, is movably mounted on the rail and is driven by the driving device to move along the rail. The control module may be remote controllable to actuate the driving device to vertically move the FDP slidably.
  • Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

  • FIG. 5 is the operational front view of the electrical controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket in FIG. 4, shown being moved down.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • With reference to FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 3A an electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket in accordance with the present invention comprises an optional base (10), a frame (20), a control module (30) and a display rack (50).
  • The base (10) comprises at least one disc and may be rotatable and has a top surface.
  • The frame (20) is mounted on a flat surface and may be attached securely to the top surface of the base (10) and has a body (22) and an optional cover (24). The body (22) is tubular and has a proximal end, a distal end, a front surface, an inner surface and an opening. The proximal end is mounted on the flat surface, may be on the top surface of the base (10). The opening is formed on the front surface of the body (22).
  • The cover (24) corresponds to the opening of the body (22), detachably covers the opening of the body (22) and has two longitudinal edges. The longitudinal edges form guide slots (242) with the body (22) when the cover (24) covers the opening of the body (22).
  • The control module (30) is an electronic module, may be remote controllable, may comprise a control panel and may be mounted on the inner surface of the body (22).
  • The display rack (50) has a rail (53), a sliding bracket (54), a driving device (52), an optional display bracket (55) and an optional inner brace (51).
  • The rail (53) is parallelly formed inside the body (22) and has a proximal end and may have an outer tube (532) and a spiral bar (534).
  • The outer tube (532) is a polygonal, hollow, straight tube and has a surface and at least one slit (5322).
  • The slit (5322) is longitudinally formed through the surface of the outer tube (532) and two slits (5322) may be symmetrically formed through the surface of the outer tube (532).
  • The spiral bar (534) is coaxially and rotatably mounted inside the outer tube (532).
  • The sliding bracket (54) is movably mounted on the rail (53) and is attached to a flat panel display (FPD) and is slid along the outer tube (532) when the spiral bar (534) rotates and has at least one slider (542) and two mounting wings (544).
  • The slider (542) has an inner surface (5422) and a spiral tube (5424). The inner surface (5422) corresponds to and is movably mounted on the surface of the outer tube (532).
  • The spiral tube (5424) corresponds to and is movably mounted on the spiral bar (534) and is coaxially attached to the inner surface (5422) of the slider (542) through each slit (5322).
  • With further reference to FIG. 4, the mounting wings (544) are symmetrically connected to the slider (542). Each one of the mounting wings (544) has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the mounting wing (544) is securely connected to the slider (542). The distal end of the mounting wing (544) protrudes out of the frame (20) through one of the guiding slots (242) and may be used for mounting a flat panel display (FPD) (60).
  • The driving device (52) is mounted adjacent to the rail (53) and is controlled by the control module (30) to drive the sliding bracket (54) along the rail (53), and may have a spiral gear (524).
  • The spiral gear (524) is mounted rotatably on the driving device (52), through the rail (53), corresponds to and is interlocked with the spiral bar (534) and is controlled by the control module (30) to rotate the spiral bar (534) to move the slider (542) up and down along rail (53).
  • The display bracket (55) is attached to the mounting wings (544) and may be mounted securely on the FPD (60).
  • The inner brace (51) is securely connected transversely inside the body (22) and is mounted perpendicularly to the rail (53) to ensure the rail (53) is parallel with the body (22).
  • With further reference to FIG. 5, a remote control or the control panel may be used to actuate the control module (30) to move the sliding bracket (54) up and down along the rail (53) to vertically adjust the FPD (60) and change a viewing angle easily and conveniently.
  • Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only. Changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.

Claims (13)

1. An electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket comprising:
a frame being mounted on a flat surface and having
a body being tubular and having
a proximal end being mounted on the flat surface;
a distal end;
a front surface;
an inner surface; and
an opening being formed on the front surface of the body;
a display rack having
a rail being parallelly formed inside the body and having
a proximal end;
a sliding bracket being movably mounted on the rail; and
a driving device being mounted adjacent to the rail; and
a control module controlling the driving device to drive the sliding bracket sliding along the rail.

The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 1, wherein the frame further has a cover corresponding to the opening of the body, detachably covering the opening of the body and having two longitudinal edges forming guiding slot s with the body and the cover covering the opening of the body.
3. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 2, wherein
the rail having
an outer tube being a polygonal, hollow, straight tube and having
a surface; and
at least one slit being longitudinally formed through the surface of the outer tube; and
a spiral bar being coaxially and rotatably formed inside the outer tube;
the sliding bracket being movably mounted on the rail and slidably along the outer tube when the spiral bar rotates and having
at least one slider, each one of the at least one slider having
an inner surface corresponding to and being movably mounted on the surface of the outer tube; and
a spiral tube corresponding to and being movably mounted on the spiral bar and being coaxially attached to the inner surface of the slider through the at least one slit; and
two mounting wings being symmetrically connected to the slider, each one of the mounting wings having
a proximal end being securely connected to the at least one slider; and
a distal end protruding out of the frame through one of the guiding slots; and
the driving device having
a spiral gear being mounted rotatably on the driving device, through the rail, corresponding to and being interlocked with the spiral bar and being controlled by the control module to rotate the spiral bar to move the slider along the rail.
4. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 3, wherein the display rack further has
a display bracket being attached to the mounting wings; and
an inner brace being securely connected transversely inside the body of the frame and being mounted perpendicularly to the rail.
5. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 3 further having a base comprising at least one disc and having a top surface being attached securely to the proximal end of the body of the frame.
6. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 4 further having a base being comprising at least one disc and having a top surface being attached securely to the proximal end of the body of the frame.
7. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 3, wherein two slits are symmetrically formed through the surface of the outer tube.
8. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 4, wherein two slits are symmetrically formed through the surface of the outer tube.
9. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 5, wherein two slits are symmetrically formed through the surface of the outer tube.
10. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 6, wherein two slits are symmetrically formed through the surface of the outer tube.
11. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 8, wherein the control module is remote controllable.
12. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 9, wherein the control module is remote controllable.
13. The electrically controlled vertically adjustable flat panel display bracket as claimed in claim 10, wherein the control module is remote controllable.
