Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a display having adhesive structure, and more particularly, to an LCD display structure having a sticky frame coated with an adhesive layer.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • Nowadays, whether employees at workplaces or SOHO business workers at homes, sticky pressure sensitive adhesive or non-stick notepaper are used for note taking or personal reminder. Ordinarily, whether at workplaces or at homes, pressure sensitive adhesive is usually adhered to the frame of displays incorporated with personal computers so as to achieve a function of reminder.
  • Nevertheless, as far as the pressure sensitive adhesive notepaper is concerned, after a long-time use, stickiness will be lost gradually, making the pressure sensitive adhesive notepaper non-sticky. As a result, users need to re-write notes on a new pressure sensitive adhesive notepaper, where the notes were previously written on an original pressure sensitive adhesive, and then the new pressure sensitive adhesive notepaper is adhered to a frame of the display. This makes writing notes on the pressure sensitive adhesive notepaper troublesome, let alone expenses accumulated for purchasing the pressure sensitive adhesive notepaper become a burden.
  • As to use of ordinary notepaper, in addition to notepaper, purchasing tacks/pins, magnet, or paster board is also required for fixing the notepaper on the paster board. Nevertheless, a big-sized paster board not only occupies space, but also adversely affects appearance of the work place or home. Moreover, the tacks/pins have a sharp end and thus might hurt people accidentally. The stationery has disadvantages in use, or even is inconsistent with environmental concept today.
  • Therefore, use of notepaper becomes less economic, less environmentally friendly, and less practical than pressure sensitive adhesive notepaper. However, use of pressure sensitive adhesive notepaper has the above-mentioned setbacks such as losing stickiness and getting loosened.
  • It therefore becomes an urge for development of a display having adhesive structure so as to solve the problem as indicated above.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is to provide a display having adhesive structure, comprising a display body and an adhesive layer. The display body includes a display screen and a frame. The frame includes a front opening, a front external surface, and a side external surface. The display screen is arranged inside the frame and corresponds to the front opening of the frame. The adhesive layer is formed at least on the front external surface or the side external surface of the frame, such that the frame can have a function of pressure sensitive adhesive.
  • According to the present invention, since the frame of the display body is sticky and can be adhered thereto repeatedly, a user can adhere ordinary notepaper thereto any time after note taking such that important message will not be omitted. Notepaper or light-weight stationery such as paper clips, rules, rubbers, and pens can thus be adhered repeatedly to the frame. Besides, the adhesive area of the frame, as a whole, is greater than that of normal pressure sensitive adhesive notepaper, therefore, the frame has a stickier adherence and that the notepaper would not be loosened off easily.
  • The adhesive layer may have low strength stickiness, so that the user can remove notepaper or stationery adhered to the adhesive layer easily. The adhesive layer also may have medium strength stickiness, so that the notepaper or stationery can be adhered to the adhesive layer for a relatively long duration. On the other hand, the adhesive layer may be a silica gel adhesive layer, for which stickiness can be regained after wiping the adhesive layer with damp cloth, so as to have environmentally friendly and practical merits.
  • The present invention further includes a release paper which is adhered on the adhesive layer, such that the release paper will not be removed after manufacture, and prior to sale, of the display body so as to protect and maintain stickiness of the adhesive layer of the frame. Upon intending to stick notepaper or light-weight stationery such as paper clips, rules, or rubbers, the release paper is then removed, so that the frame will have a function of pressure sensitive adhesive.
  • Further, the present invention may include a detachable kit arranged on the frame, where the adhesive layer is formed on a surface of the detachable kit, rather than on the frame, such that the detachable kit arranged on the frame of the display body can have a function of pressure sensitive adhesive. Besides, the detachable kit can be replaced individually.
  • Still further, the detachable kit can be a dust cover including a dust cover frame and a dust shield member arranged inside the dust cover frame, where the dust shield member has an inner surface and an outer surface. The adhesive layer is formed on the inner surface, or on the outer surface; or alternatively, the adhesive layer can be formed on both the inner surface and the outer surface of the dust shield member, such that the dust shield member of the dust cover has a function of pressure sensitive adhesive.
  • The dust cover can be of one-piece type which is attached, by at least one hinge, to one side of the frame of the display body, such as either left or right side of the frame. Of course, the dust cover can also be designed to be of two-piece type which are symmetrical with each other, and are attached, by at least two hinges, respectively to the left and right sides of the frame. No matter one-piece type or two-piece type, the dust cover can be opened or closed, selectively, so that a convenient manipulation can be achieved.
  • Part of the inner surface or outer surface of the dust cover is applied by mirror treatment so as to have a function of mirror for part of the dust cover.
  • Further, the detachable kit may relate to a frame jacket. The frame jacket corresponds to the frame and receives at least two sides of the frame, and covers the front external surface and side external surface of the at least two sides of the frame. The adhesive layer is formed on a front surface of the frame jacket, such that the frame jacket, receiving the frame, can achieve a function of pressure sensitive adhesive.
  • The detachable kit may be a jacket strip, where the jacket strip corresponds to and receives one side of the frame, and covers on the front external surface and side external surface of the side of the frame. The adhesive layer is formed on a front surface of the jacket strip, so that the jacket strip, receiving the frame of the display body, can have a function of pressure sensitive adhesive.
  • Further, the detachable kit may relate to a plate member. There is a post fixed behind the plate member, and that the frame is provided with a hole corresponding to the post. The plate member is attached to one side of the frame through engagement of the post and the hole. The plate member also covers the front external surface of the side of the frame. The adhesive layer is formed on a front surface of the plate member, such that the plate member arranged at the frame of the display body can have a function of pressure sensitive adhesive.
