Abstract
In order to outshine what is known up to date on this field and also to improve the game, the main objective of this request of patent of Invention is to provide a field player independent of the game board, able to be positioned strategically to make the pass or attempt to score, by means of a mechanism of automatic shooting, whose power can be selected by the contestant as well as the appropriate cleat to get the preferred effect on the ball pathway and a goalkeeper which is moved by the contestant to the position of covering the goal, with body tilting and the preferred opening of the arms to catch the ball, all of which depends on the contestant's ability and reflexes. A second objective of this request of patent of Invention is that the parts that make up the set can be presented disassembled so as to develop the manual ability of the users during the assembly process.
Description
- The present invention relates to a set of parts with movement mechanism for table football game.
- The most similar item to this invention previously known are the familiar “foosballs”, whose players are adhered in groups to rotating bars that drive the shot without any further possibility of interaction by the contestants of the game.
- Another type of table football is the one that consists of players that move in only one direction grooves set on the table floor, driven by a keyboard set behind each goal, with no actuating mechanisms that provide variations according to the contestant's ability.
- In that sense, another option is given by models of static players which turn out to be decoration pieces on the table, in a game that is played manually.
- In order to outshine what is known up to date on this field and also to improve the game, the main objective of this request of patent of Invention is to provide a field player independent of the game board, able to be positioned strategically to make the pass or attempt to score, by means of a mechanism of automatic shooting, whose power can be selected by the contestant as well as the appropriate cleat to get the preferred effect on the ball pathway and a goalkeeper which is moved by the contestant to the position of covering the goal, with body tilting and the preferred opening of the arms to catch the ball, all of which depends on the contestant's ability and reflexes.

- The following invention refers to a set of parts with movement mechanism for table football game, comprising a model of at least one field player and another similar model of a goalkeeper, having the former a static leg adhered to a support and fixation base and an articulated leg, capable of an angular sweeping movement on a vertical plane, between a passive vertical position and an active retracted one, selectively locked by means of a cricket mechanism so that a vertical pressure applied to the player's head releases such a lock, causing the ball to be kicked, driven by an angular expansion spring which was tightly set on that position, while the goalkeeper is anchored by its back to the end of an tubular mast which is articulated through cardan movement on a vertical column set on the table, allowing its translation, being that the mast is able to rotate on its axle so as to cause the tilting of the vertical axle of its body while, at the same time, a rod going through the inside of the mast presents, in its actuating end, a means of coupling to the articular axle of one of the arms of the player so that, by means of its rotation, an angular sweeping movement parallel to the front area is caused, which will be transmitted by a mechanism of levers to the other arm that will move accordingly.
- As a complement, at least the mobile leg of the player ends up in a stump that is capable of holding, by means of a clip, various models of cleats whose insteps bring about different effects when kicking the ball, with a power that will be regulated according to the greater or smaller retraction angle, which will provide the driving spring with more or less tension.
- In order to achieve the advantages that have been roughly mentioned and to facilitate the understanding of the construction and function features of the Set of Parts With Movement Mechanism For Table Football Game, a preferred example of achievement is described below, which is illustrated by means of figures and with no given scale on the attached graphics, with the clear explanation that, precisely because it is just an example, it must not be considered a limitation but instead it simply becomes an illustration of the basic conception that it is based on.

FIG. 1 , the body of the field player consists of a backrest (1) adhered to the fixed leg (2); a pectoral (3) which makes up the lodging of the actuating mechanism along with such backrest; a head (4) whose stem (5) [collar] penetrates at the top on that lodging; a mobile leg (6) articulated on such actuating mechanism; the arms (7) articulated in the form of rounded stumps of the backrest; exchangeable cleats (9) assembled by means of a clip on the stumps of the legs and a resting support (10) with an fixation appendage (11), to which the stump of the fixed leg gets fixed by a known means. - In this figure, the player is in a passive position.
- In
FIG. 2 the ball (P) has been set and the mobile leg (6) has been retracted to a selected position according to the required power, internally locked by means of a cricket, rendered ready for the shooting. -

FIGS. 5 , 6 and 7 show the functioning sequence of the mechanism previously illustrated. - In
FIG. 5 , the stem leans with no pressure by its end on a tilted plane against the core (19) of the trigger (13), in a passive position in which the articular arm (15) keeps the mobile leg (6) vertically, without any of the cricket cogs of its partial crown wheel (14) being held up by the locking tail (20) of the trigger, being that the spring (8) has no tension. - In
FIG. 6 , the leg (6) has been retracted to a position appropriate for the selected power of shooting which, in this case, corresponds to the second cog of the partial crown wheel (14), which has been locked by the tail (20) with the loaded spring (8), ready for shooting. - In
FIG. 7 , having already pressed the player's head (4) at the top, the tilted plane of the descending stem end (5) moves the core (19) aside, causing the tilting of the trigger which yields the resistance of the elastic wedge (21) against the pectoral and its locking tail (20) releases the held up cog so that the branch (17) of the spring drives the shot from the leg (6). - As it can be seen on the previous figures, the axles adhered to the trigger and to the articular arm of the leg are mounted in parallel on gudgeons set between the backrest and the pectoral.

FIG. 8 shows an illustration of the stump (22) of the leg (6), in which the selected cleat is mounted by means of the elasticity of its rear recess (23), capable of being set for shooting with the toes or in a tilted position so that an impact can be achieved with its inner or outer surface. -
FIG. 9 shows one of the exchangeable cleats of the set, with the toecap similar to those of real cleats, applicable mainly for shooting with the toes. - In

FIG. 14 illustrates a front view of the team goalkeeper which, as opposed to the field player, stands on its static legs and its arms (101 and 102) are articulated on their corresponding axles (103 and 104), for angular sweeps (F2) on a vertical plane, having a body that consists of a pectoral (105) adhered to the legs and a backrest (106), both making up the lodging for the mechanism of such movement of arms and at the same time, by means of the mechanism shown in the following figure, the goalkeeper will be capable of accompanying or individual movements such as: elevation (F3), to the sides (F4) and tilting (F5) out of its vertical axle, all of them driven by the contestant so as to avoid the scoring. - In
FIG. 15 , the above mentioned mechanism is shown, which consists of a vertical column (107) on which the support (108) pivots freely, on which a bushing (110) is articulated on the transversal axle (109), a bushing that the tubular mast (111) goes through with free rotation, with a means of anchoring (112) to the backrest (106) of the goalkeeper in its front end, with a rod (113) having free rotation going through the inside of such mast in the form of an axle, a rod whose rear end outlines a command knob and whose front end (114) outlines a “U” shaped coupling to the movement mechanism of the arms, going in through a window of such backrest. - Thus, with the goalkeeper anchored by its backrest to the means (112), the pivoting of the support (108) on the column (107) causes the horizontal sweep, referred to as F4 in the previous figure; the articulation around the transversal axle (109) causes the rising, referred to as F3; the rotation of the mast (111) on the articulated bushing (110) from the appendage (111) causes the tilting of the body, referred to as F5; and the rotation of the rod (113) from its rear knob causes the movement of the arms, referred to as F2, with its tip (114) assembled on the inner mechanism which is illustrated in the following figures.

FIG. 16 shows such mechanism which consists of a driving arm (101) whose flattened appendage (115) receives the rotating movement of the U shaped tip (114), which goes in through the window (116) of the backrest when the means of anchoring (112) has been fixed in the receivers (117) and transmits it by means of its connecting rod (118), which has a bolt (119), to the grooved connecting rod (120) that coincides with such bolt and is adhered to the driven arm (102). - Even more clearly,
FIG. 17 shows the mechanism with the arms in the low position, having its articulations set on the open armholes (121) which enable the angular movement. - In
FIG. 18 , the rising of the driving arm has been activated from the flattened appendage (115) as well as the angular movement of its connecting rod (118), whose bolt slides along the connecting rod groove (120). - Being adhered to the driven arm (102), transmitting movement that causes its accompanying rising, spinning around its articular axle, being that the derailing at the end of the stroke is avoided by means of the extreme closure of the groove or by any stopper that limits the angular sweep of any of the connecting rods.

a game board;
a reduced scale image of field players representing two different teams placed on top of the game board;
wherein each team has a different attire from the other team;
wherein each team includes at least one field player and a goalkeeper;
wherein each field player comprises:
a body comprising:
a backrest,
a pectoral which makes up a lodging of a first actuating mechanism along with the backrest;
a head having a neck, wherein the neck penetrates the lodging;
a mobile leg articulated by the actuating mechanism;
a static leg having means of fixation to a supporting base;
a first arm and a second arm;
wherein the first actuating mechanism comprises:
a trigger, wherein the trigger is activated by pressing the head of the field player which moves down the neck activating the trigger;
a crown wheel in connection with the trigger and the mobile leg, the crown wheel having an angular expansion spring;
wherein the articular spring has a first end pressing against the pectoral and
a second end inserted in the mobile leg;
wherein the goalkeeper comprises:
a body comprising:
a backrest;
a pectoral which makes up a second lodging of a second actuating mechanism along with the backrest of the goalkeeper;
a head having a neck, wherein the neck penetrates the lodging;
a pair of static legs;
a first and second mobile arms articulated by the second actuating mechanism;
wherein the backrest of the goalkeeper is anchored to a vertical column by anchoring means;
wherein the body of the goalkeeper has horizontal and vertical movement;
wherein the mobile arms have horizontal and vertical movement, and rotational movement.
11. The table football game according to claim 10 , wherein the crown wheel of the first actuating mechanism comprises a plurality of cogs which determine the same number of positions with different spring tensions.
12. The table football game according to claim 10 , further comprising a plurality of different cleats, wherein the cleats are interchangeable and placed on a cylindrical stump on the mobile leg of the field player.
13. The table football game according to claim 12 , wherein one of the cleats comprises a cap shaped toecap.
14. The table football game according to claim 13 , wherein the cap shaped toecap comprises an exaggerated elevation of the toecap which outlines a vertical attack front.
15. The table football game according to claim 13 , wherein the cap shaped toecap comprises a concave toecap fit for a wide attack blade.
16. The table football game according to claim 12 , wherein one of the cleats comprises an instep with a descending flattening towards its internal surface.
17. The table football game according to claim 12 , wherein one of the cleats comprises an instep with a descending flattening towards its external surface.
18. A table football game comprising:
a game board;
a reduced scale image of field players representing two different teams placed on top of the game board;
wherein each team has a different attire from the other team;
wherein each team includes at least one field player and a goalkeeper;
wherein each field player comprises:
a body comprising:
a backrest,
a pectoral which makes up a lodging of a first actuating mechanism along with the backrest;
a head having a neck, wherein the neck penetrates the lodging;
a mobile leg articulated by the actuating mechanism;
a static leg having means of fixation to a supporting base;
a first arm and a second arm;
wherein the first actuating mechanism comprises:
a trigger, wherein the trigger is activated by pressing the head of the field player which moves down the neck activating the trigger;
a crown wheel in connection with the trigger and the mobile leg, the crown wheel having an angular expansion spring;
wherein the articular spring has a first end pressing against the pectoral and
a second end inserted in the mobile leg;
wherein the goalkeeper comprises:
a body comprising:
a backrest;
a pectoral which makes up a second lodging of a second actuating mechanism along with the backrest of the goalkeeper;
a head having a neck, wherein the neck penetrates the lodging;
a pair of static legs;
a first and second mobile arms articulated by the second actuating mechanism;
wherein the backrest of the goalkeeper is anchored to a vertical column by anchoring means;
wherein the body of the goalkeeper has horizontal and vertical movement;
wherein the mobile arms have horizontal and vertical movement, and rotational movement;
wherein the second actuating mechanism comprises:
the vertical column on which a support pivots freely,
a bushing on which a tubular mast goes through with free rotation,
the anchoring means to the backrest;
a rod having free rotation going through the inside of the tubular mast in the form of an axle,
the rod having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the rod is connected to a command knob and the second end of the rod comprises a coupling going through a window on the backrest of the body, wherein the coupling is connected into a receiver connected to the mobile arms of the goalkeeper.
19. A table football game consisting of:
a game board;
a reduced scale image of field players representing two different teams placed on top of the game board;
wherein each team has a different attire from the other team;
wherein each team includes at least one field player and a goalkeeper;
each field player having:
a body having:
a backrest,
a pectoral which makes up a lodging of a first actuating mechanism along with the backrest;
a head having a neck, wherein the neck penetrates the lodging;
a mobile leg articulated by the actuating mechanism;
a static leg having means of fixation to a supporting base;
a first arm and a second arm;
wherein the first actuating mechanism comprises:
a trigger, wherein the trigger is activated by pressing the head of the field player which moves down the neck activating the trigger;
a crown wheel in connection with the trigger and the mobile leg, the crown wheel having an angular expansion spring;
wherein the articular spring has a first end pressing against the pectoral and
a second end inserted in the mobile leg;
the goalkeeper includes:
a body having:

a head having a neck, wherein the neck penetrates the lodging;

a first and second mobile arms articulated by the second actuating mechanism;
wherein the backrest of the goalkeeper is anchored to a vertical column by anchoring means;
wherein the body of the goalkeeper has horizontal and vertical movement;
wherein the mobile arms have horizontal and vertical movement, and rotational movement.
