Abstract
A massage shoe equipped with germanium includes an outsole and a shoe pad made from high polymers (such as rubber or plastics). The outsole has a recess at the top surface surrounded by a flange to hold the shoe pad. The shoe pad has a plurality of bosses of different shapes formed at the top thereof. Each of the bosses has a plurality of massage bulged spots formed at the top surface. At least one of the bosses (or all) contains germanium which can radiate infrared light to provide massage and healthcare effect to users wearing the shoe.
Description
- The present invention relates to a shoe and particularly to a sandal that provides massage and healthcare effect.
- Based on medical prospective human sole has about seventy two thousand (72,000) nerve clusters distributed in sixty three (33) zones (namely massage segments of sole). They represent nerve transmission nodes of the organs of human body. Each reflex segment is divided into tiny reflex points. In the event that degeneration or diseases occurred to an organ the nerve stimulates the body to secrete adrenalin to mend the ailment caused by the inflicted organ.
- Nowadays many parks or public recreation locations have provided a patch of land laid with gravels or cobblestones to enable people to walk thereon with bare feet so that the reflex segments of their soles can be stimulated to facilitate blood circulation. Such an exercise, coupling with proper water intake, can improve metabolism and provide therapeutic effect. Some people also seek the service of professional massagers to do sole massage.
- As many people these days are very busy in their daily work, and are too tire after work to take a long walk outdoors or go the massage parlors to seek professional sole massage, they turn to foot massage products that can be worn on the foot so that the sole can be stimulated during walking to achieve the massage effect.
- The primary object of the present invention is to provide a massage shoe equipped with germanium. It includes an outsole and a shoe pad that are made from high polymers (such as rubber or plastics). The outsole has a recess and a flange formed on the top side of the periphery. The shoe pad is held in the recess and surrounded by the flange. The shoe pad has a plurality of bosses of different shapes formed on the top. Each of the bosses has a plurality of massage bulged spots at the top surface. At least one of the bosses (or all of them) contains germanium that can radiate infrared light which is healthful to human body. The massage bulged spots can be stepped by user's sole to stimulate the reflex segments of the sole. By providing massage and the infrared radiation to the reflex segments of the sole, the health condition of user's body can be improved.
- It is another object of the invention to provide a massage shoe equipped with germanium that has the bosses at the heel portion of the shoe pad formed with a surface inclined gradually upwards so that user's heel can receive a uplift force directing rearwards to enhance steadiness while wearing the shoe.
- The foregoing, as well as additional objects, features and advantages of the invention will be more readily apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of an embodiment of the invention. -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the invention. -
FIG. 3 is a sectional view of an embodiment of the invention. -
FIG. 4A is a fragmentary enlarged view of an embodiment of the invention. -
FIG. 4B is a cross section taken online 4B-4B inFIG. 4A . - Please refer to
FIGS. 1 , 2 and 3, the massage shoe equipped with germanium of the invention includes anoutsole 10 made from high polymers (such as rubber or plastics). Theoutsole 10 has arecess 11 at the top surface with the periphery surrounded by aflange 12 to form aninsole 13 therein; and ashoe pad 20 made from high polymers (such as rubber or plastics). Theshoe pad 20 is bonded in therecess 11 and surrounded byflange 12 in an integrated manner. Theshoe pad 20 has a top surface with a plurality ofbosses 21 of different shapes formed thereon. Each of thebosses 21 has a plurality of massage bulgedspots 22 formed at the top thereof. According to actual requirements, at least one (or all) of thebosses 21 contains germanium which can radiate infrared light which is healthful to human body. - When a user wears the shoe set forth above, user's sole steps on the massage bulged
spots 22 during walking. Hence the vital points at the sole can be massaged. Thebosses 21 are corresponding to the important vital points of user's sole. Hence the energy radiated by the germanium in thebosses 21 can directly stimulate the user's vital points. The ions released by the germanium can neutralize the ions in user's body and regulate bio-current to maintain electric balance of the user's body. It also can vitalize the immune system, alleviate discomfort, and fend off electromagnetic wave. Thus it is helpful to users who suffer from unfit physical conditions such as feeling fatigue, having sore hands, feet or muscles, poor blood circulation or the like. - Referring to
FIGS. 4A and 4B , thebosses 21 at the heel portion of theshoe pad 20 has the surface inclined gradually upwards to give user's heel an uplift force so that the user can receive a steadier support while wearing the shoe. - Prototypes of the invention have been made according to the specification and drawings previously discussed. Test results indicated that the objects and effects set forth above have been accomplished satisfactorily. It offers a significant improvement over the conventional products.
- While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been set forth for the purpose of disclosure, modifications of the disclosed embodiment of the invention as well as other embodiments thereof may occur to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to cover all embodiments which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention.
