  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a first preferred embodiment of a baby mesh bed of the present invention includes an upper corner piece 1, an upright rod part 2, and two transverse rod parts 4.
  • The upper corner piece 1 comprises single part, and is angled. The upper corner piece 1 includes inner and outer wall portions 11 and 12, and an internal room 13, which intervenes between the inner and the outer wall portions 11 and 12, and extends to two ends of the upper corner piece 1. The upper corner piece 1 includes a sleeve portion 14 in an intermediate angle portion of the internal room 13 thereof. The sleeve portion 14 has a bottom opening, and two hooking holes 141 thereon, which each face one of said two open ends of the internal room 13 of the upper corner piece 1. The sleeve portion 14 further has two fixing holes 142 thereon, which each face in the same direction as a corresponding said hooking hole 141. The sleeve portion 14 further has a propping portion 143 protruding from a lower end thereof.
  • The upright rod part 2 is held in the sleeve portion 14 of the upper corner piece 1 at an upper end thereof, and has two fixing holes 21, which each face a corresponding said fixing hole 142 of the sleeve portion 14.

Each of the transverse rod parts 4 is pivoted to a respective said coupling piece 3, with the first end thereof being held in the receiving gap 31 of the coupling piece 3, and with a pivotal element 33 being passed through the pivotal holes 321 of the coupling piece 3 as well as the pivotal hole of the transverse rod part 4.
  • In assembly, referring to FIG. 2 to FIG. 5, each of the coupling pieces 3 with a corresponding said transverse rod part 4 is held in one of two end portions of the internal room 13, and securely joined to the sleeve portion 14 of the upper corner piece 1 with the hooking portion 341 being passed through a corresponding said hooking hole 141 and hooked over the sleeve portion 14, and with a fixing element 35 being passed through the connecting hole 342 of the coupling piece 3, the fixing hole 142 of the sleeve portion 14 of the upper corner piece 1, and the fixing hole 21 of the upright rod part 2 in sequence; thus, the coupling pieces 3 are propped against the propping portion 143 of the sleeve portion 14 of the upper corner piece 1 at lower ends thereof to help to hold the coupling pieces 3 and the transverse rod parts 4. Therefore, the transverse rod parts 4 pivot on the upper corner piece 1.
  • Therefore, after the fixing elements 35 have been loosened by means of a tool, the upright rod part 2 and the coupling pieces 3 with the transverse rod parts 4 can be easily separated from the upper corner piece 1 in order for cloth and mesh members and the joints of the baby mesh bed to be repaired, maintained, and replaced with a new one.
  • Shown in FIG. 6 is a second preferred embodiment of a baby mesh bed of the present invention. The mesh bed includes an upper corner piece 5, an upright rod part 6, and two transverse rod parts 8.
  • The upper corner piece 5 comprises single part, and is angled. The upper corner piece 5 includes inner and outer wall portions 51 and 52, and an internal room 53, which intervenes between the inner and the outer wall portions 51 and 52, and extends to two ends of the upper corner piece 5. The upper corner piece 5 includes a sleeve portion 54 in an intermediate angle portion of the internal room 53 thereof. The sleeve portion 54 has a bottom opening, and two grooves 541 thereon, which each face one of said two open ends of the internal room 53 of the upper corner piece 5. The sleeve portion 54 further has a fixing hole 542 on each of the grooves 541 thereof. The sleeve portion 54 further has a fitting groove 543, which intervenes between the grooves 541 on an upper portion thereof, and has a curved surface.
  • The upright rod part 6 is positioned around the sleeve portion 54 of the upper corner piece 5 at an upper end thereof. The upright rod part 6 has two through holes 61, which each face a corresponding said fixing hole 542 of the sleeve portion 54. The upright rod part 6 further has a fitting portion 62 on an inner side of a corner thereof, which is inserted in the fitting groove 543 of the sleeve portion 541 of the upper corner piece 5.
  • Each of the transverse rod parts 8 has a pivotal hole (not numbered) at a first end thereof, and is pivoted to a coupling piece 7; each coupling piece 7 has an upright end wall portion 71, two connecting wall portions 72 projecting from two sides of the end wall portion 71, and a pivotal hole 721 on each of the connecting wall portions 72, as shown in FIG. 6; each coupling piece 7 further has a protruding portion 74 sticking rearwards from a rear side of the upright end wall portion 71 thereof, which protruding portion 74 is in the shape of a “T”, and which has a through connecting hole 741 thereon. Each of the transverse rod parts 8 is pivoted to a respective said coupling piece 7, with the first end thereof being received between the connecting wall portions 72 of the coupling piece 7, and with a pivotal element 73 being passed through the pivotal holes 721 as well as the pivotal hole of the transverse rod part 8.
  • In assembly, referring to FIGS. 7, 8, and 9, each of the coupling pieces 7 with a corresponding said transverse rod part 8 is positioned in one of two end portions of the internal room 53, with the protruding portion 74 being inserted in a corresponding said groove 541 of the sleeve portion 54 of the upper corner piece 5. Next, the upright rod part 6 is positioned around the sleeve portion 54 of the upper corner piece 5 at the upper end thereof, with the fitting portion 62 thereof being inserted in the fitting groove 543 of the sleeve portion 541. And, fixing elements 75 are passed through the through holes 61 of the upright rod part 6, the through connecting holes 741 of the coupling pieces 74, and the fixing holes 542 of the sleeve portion 54 of the upper corner piece 5 so as to secure the coupling pieces 7 to the sleeve portion 54 as well as the upright rod part 6. Therefore, the transverse rod parts 8 pivot on the upper corner piece 5.
  • Therefore, after the fixing elements 75 have been loosened by means of a tool, the upright rod part 6 and the coupling pieces 7 with the transverse rod parts 8 can be easily separated from the upper corner piece 5 in order for cloth and mesh members and the joints of the mesh bed to be repaired, maintained, and replaced with a new one.
  • From the above description, it can be seen that the present invention has the following advantages:
  • 1. The joint between the upper corner piece and each of the rod parts is covered with the upper corner piece instead of being exposed. Therefore, the appearance of the whole upper corner piece isn't spoiled.
  • 2. The upper corner piece and the transverse rod parts of the first preferred embodiment are coupled together by means of the coupling pieces, which are securely joined to the sleeve portion of the upper corner piece with the hooking portions being hooked over the hooking holes of the sleeve portion and with the fixing elements being passed through the coupling pieces and the sleeve portion. Therefore, after the fixing elements have been loosened, the upright rod part and the coupling pieces with the transverse rod parts can be separated from the upper corner piece in order for cloth and mesh members and the joints of the mesh bed to be repaired, maintained, and replaced.
  • 3. Furthermore, according to the first embodiment, the fixing elements can be easily passed through the connecting holes of the coupling pieces and the fixing holes of the sleeve portion of the upper corner piece because the connecting holes will face corresponding said fixing holes automatically when the hooking portions of the coupling pieces are hooked over the hooking holes of the sleeve portion.
  • 4. According to the second preferred embodiment, the upper corner piece has the internal sleeve portion, and is coupled to the transverse rod parts by means of the coupling pieces, which are securely joined to the sleeve portion of the upper corner piece with the fixing elements being passed through the coupling pieces and the sleeve portion. And, the upright rod part is also securely joined to the internal sleeve portion by means of the fixing elements. Therefore, after the fixing elements have been loosened, the upright rod part and the coupling pieces with the transverse rod parts can be separated from the upper corner piece.
