  • A further feature of the present invention resides, briefly stated, in a noise-dampening pipe connected with said air conditioner so as to dampen airflow produced by operation of said air conditioner.
  • The novel features which are considered as characteristic for the present invention are set forth in particular in the appended claims. The invention itself, however, both as to its construction and its method of operation, together with additional objects and advantages thereof, will be best understood from the following description of specific embodiments when read in connection with the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a view schematically showing an elevation cross-section a sectional plan view of an air conditioning system in accordance with the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the inventive system in accordance with the present invention.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • An air conditioning system for air conditioning of inner spaces includes an air conditioner which is identified with reference numeral 1. An air conditioner can be formed as a conventional air conditioner which can be arranged in a window of an inner space and the like with one side facing outside air and another side facing the inner space.
  • The air conditioning system in accordance with the present invention further has a noise-dampening pipe which is identified with reference numeral 2. The noise-dampening pipe is connected with an outlet of the air conditioning 1 to supply air through its interior and dampen noise produced during the operation of the air conditioner 1. For this purpose, the noise-dampening pipe can include a noise-dampening inner coating 2′ on the inner surface of the pipe, etc., as known in the art.
  • Reference numeral 3 identifies a flap which closes or opens an opening in the bottom of the pipe 2. During the operation of the air conditioner the flap is closed. When the air conditioner does not operate it is opened to guide air from the inner space into the systems. A cooler 7 is used to cool air and therefore to dry it. The cooler 7 can be formed as any conventional cooling device and arranged as shown in the drawings. Reference numeral 8 identifies a trough for collection of water after drying or moisturizing.
  • Downstream of the above mentioned element, filtering means are provided. The filtering means include a filter for filtering out coarse particles identified with reference numeral 4 and a filter for filtering out fine particles identified with reference numeral 5. Such filters are known in the art, and they include usually a frame with corresponding filtering fabric or another material, that contains corresponding openings or pores with the size providing filtering out of coarse particles or fine particles. A partition 3′ guides air through a passage formed under it.
  • Reference numeral 9 identifies a humidifier which can be formed as a moisturizing filter for moisturizing the air. A pipe 10 can be provided for supplying water to the moisturizing filter 9 through a pipe 11. The pipe 11 can be provided with a silver insert for sterilization of air.
  • Reference numeral 12 identifies a fan for supplying air into an upper part of an inner space. The outlet of the fan for supplying air is connected with a device for additional treatment of air which is identified with reference numeral 13. The device 13 can have a pipe with several elements located inside it. In particular, a photocatalytic filter 14, a bactericidal filter 15, an ionizer 16, an ozonator 17 and aroma-generator 18, which provide treatment of air in correspondence with their functions, in particular subjecting air to a photocatalytic reaction, to a bactericidal treatment, to an ionizing treatment to ozonizing treatment, to aromatization.
  • Reference numeral 19 identifies a sensor for controlling humidity and temperature. Such sensors are known. It can be arranged on an opposite wall and connected with the corresponding elements of the above identified system for controlling moisture and temperature of the air supplied to the inner space.
  • It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together, may also find a useful application in other types of constructions differing from the type described above.
  • While the invention has been illustrated and described as embodied in an air conditioning system, it is not intended to be limited to the details shown, since various modifications and structural changes may be made without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
  • Without further analysis, the foregoing will so fully reveal the gist of the present invention that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily adapt it for various applications without omitting features that, from the standpoint of prior art, fairly constitute essential characteristics of the generic or specific aspects of this invention.
