Description
- The present invention relates to a wire, and more particularly to a color decorating wire.
- As science and technology advance and people have increasingly higher demand on the quality of life, different industries spare no effort to develop new products, and this trend not applies to the field of high-tech products only, but also applies to general products that are indispensable to our daily life. With the consumers' demands on convenience, practicability and appearance, the products are enhanced continuously to improve the competitiveness of the products, so that when manufacturers design their products, substantial costs are invested on the research and development of products to determine whether or not the products can meet the consumers' requirement for the appearance of the products or the functions of the products, so as to provide more satisfactory products to consumers.
- In general, people usually carry many necessary objects such as keys, mobile phones and coins with them when they go out. Particularly, when small electronic products become very popular nowadays, people carry more objects than ever, when they go out, and thus various different types of leather bags or handbags are introduced to the market continuously. Regardless of the type, quantity or function, the number of these bags is increased and the quality is improved. Consumers can purchase a bag (such as a leather bag, cosmetic bag, a coin purse, a schoolbag and a handbag) as needed. Since a large quantity of leather bags or handbags is available in the market, it is a challenging subject for manufacturers to develop outstanding products appealing to consumers.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 for a conventional handbag, the handbag comprises abag 11, a cover 12 and astrip 13, wherein thebag 11 has a containing space for containing or storing objects, and an end of the cover 12 is disposed on a side of the top of thebag 11, and the cover 12 is covered onto the top of thebag 11, such that another end of the cover 12 is extended to another side of thebag 11, and both ends of thestrip 13 are disposed on both distal sides of thebag 11 respectively and provided for users to grip, and the handbag includes a plurality ofdecorating strips 14 disposed on the edges of thebag 11 and the cover 12 respectively, and thedecorating strips 14 are provided for decorating the handbag to improve the aesthetic appearance of the handbag, and thedecorating strips 14 are sewed to the edges of thebag 11 and the cover 12 through athin plate 140. - However, the
decorating strip 14 of the conventional handbag still has the following drawbacks: - 1. The
decorating strips 14 are generally made by an extrusion molding, and thus thedecorating strips 14 usually come with a single color which gives monotonous or irregular changes due to the dyes added. Thesedecorating strips 14 cannot provide a glittering color change effect, and it is difficult forsuch decorating strips 14 to improve the overall aesthetic appearance of the handbag. - 2. If the wires formed by weaving color filaments directly are used as the
decorating strips 14, the manufacturing process will become complicated and waste manpower. Furthermore, dirt may be accumulated on the surface of thedecorating strip 14 easily and the dirt is not easy to clean, and worn-out or loosened wires may result easily, and thus reducing the durability of colors greatly. - Therefore, it is an important subject for manufacturers to find a way to break through the aforementioned technical bottlenecks and drawbacks.
- In view of the shortcomings of the prior art that the decorating strips of a handbag comes with monotonous color and it is difficult to use such strips to improve the overall appearance of the handbag, the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience in the related industry to conduct extensive researches and experiments, and finally developed a color decorating wire in accordance with the invention to overcome the aforementioned shortcomings of the prior art.
- It is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a color decorating wire comprising at least one color wire of a different color and a transparent plastic skin formed on the color wire by an extrusion molding or an injection molding and wrapped completely onto the color wire, so that the color decorating wire concurrently has the glittering and color changing effects.
- Another objective of the present invention is to install at least one connecting plate that is extended outward from a surface of the transparent plastic skin, and each connecting plate is extended axially along the color decorating wire, and the color decorating wire is fixed onto an object (such as a shoe, a leather coat, a leather bag, a cosmetic bag, a sofa, a leather chair, or a seam of a leather material or fabric) by the connecting plate to match the color of the leather material or fabric of the object, so as to improve the overall appearance of the object.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a color decorating wire further comprising at least one support wire provided for winding the color wire on a surface of the support wire to improve the structural strength of the color decorating wire and make it easy to wind the color wire around the surface of the support wire.
- The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a prior art handbag and its decorating strip; -
FIG. 2 is a schematic view of a first preferred embodiment of a color decorating wire in accordance with the present invention; and -
FIG. 3 is a schematic view of a second preferred embodiment of a color decorating wire in accordance with the present invention. - Referring to
FIG. 2 for a schematic view of a first preferred embodiment of a color decorating wire in accordance with the present invention, the color decorating wire comprises at least onecolor wire 22 of a different color and a transparentplastic skin 23, wherein thecolor wire 22 is formed by weaving filaments or strips with at least one core of a different color to provide a color change effect to the color decorating wire, and the transparentplastic skin 23 is formed by an extrusion molding or an injection molding and wrapped completely onto thecolor wire 22, such that the color decorating wire has a glittering appearance. In addition to thecolor wire 22 that can be viewed through the transparentplastic skin 23, and the color decorating wire features the glittering and color changing effects, the protection provided by the transparentplastic skin 23 also enhances the durability of colors and the use of thecolor wire 22. - Further, the surface of the transparent
plastic skin 23 includes at least one connectingplate 230, and each connectingplate 230 is extended axially along the color decorating wire, and the color decorating wire is fixed onto an object 3 (such as a shoe, a leather coat, a purse, a cosmetic bag, a sofa, a leather chair or a seam of a leather material or fabric) by the connectingplate 230, so that the color decorating wire can match the color of the leather material or fabric of theobject 3 to improve the overall appearance of theobject 3. - Referring to
FIG. 3 for a second preferred embodiment of the present invention, the color decorating wire further comprises at least onesupport wire 21, and thesupport wire 21 is provided for winding thecolor wire 22 onto a surface of thesupport wire 21, and eachsupport wire 21 is formed by weaving filaments or strips with at least one core. Further, thesupport wire 21 can be made of plastic or metal (such as a copper wire, aluminum alloy wire or steel wire) to enhance the structural strength of the color decorating wire, and allow thecolor wire 22 to be wound easily onto the surface of thesupport wire 21. - In the first and second preferred embodiments of the present invention as shown in
FIGS. 2 and 3 respectively, thestrip 220 is made of Mylar and provided for improving the appearance of the color decorating wire, and special texts, patterns or even names of individuals or companies can be printed onto the surface that we can see thestrip 220. In addition to the aesthetic decoration of theobject 3 and the compliance with personalization, the present invention also provides an advertising effect. - In summation of the description above, the color decorating wire of the present invention can achieve the following effects and objectives:
- 1. With the
color wire 22, the color decorating wire features a color changing effect to overcome the shortcoming that the conventional decorating strip comes with a single color or a monotonous or irregular variation only. - 2. With the transparent
plastic skin 23, the color decorating wire features a glittering effect to make thecolor wire 22 more colorful. - 3. Since the transparent
plastic skin 23 is covered completely onto thecolor wire 22, the invention can prevent the surface of thecolor wire 22 from being accumulated by dirt, worn out or loosened. The durability of thecolor wire 22 can be enhanced greatly. - 4. Special texts, patterns, or even names of individuals or companies can be printed on the
strip 220. In addition to improving the appearance of theobject 3, the invention also provides an advertising effect and meets the requirement for personalization. - While the invention has been described by means of specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims.
