Abstract

A multiple power tire inflator has at least two pump devices within a housing. Each pump device includes a motor and a pump mechanism. A conduit respectively couples with vents of the pump devices, and a pump valve connects with an end of the conduit. A monometer is plugged onto the conduit for indicating pumping state. A power wire with a vehicle power plug couples with the motors of the pump devices for providing power. The two pump devices of the multiple power tire inflator of the present invention can pump air to a tire quickly.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • (a) Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a tire inflator, and particularly to a multiple power tire inflator with multiple pumping power.
  • (b) Description of the Prior Art
  • A tire inflator is commonly employed for repairing vehicles currently. The tire inflator blows up air into a tire with a certain pressure by the power from a vehicle when the tire lacks air pressure.
  • A conventional tire inflator has a motor within a housing. An output shaft of the motor drives a cam to rotate per a deceleration gear, and activates a cantilever that connects the cam and a pump. The pump keeps blowing up air into a conduit that connects with a vent. A pump valve at an end of the conduit communicates with a tire to continuously pump air into the tire. A monometer, which plugs on the conduit, indicates when pumping operation is finished.
  • The conventional tire inflator only has a motor and a pump within a housing, and therefore can not markedly enhance power of pumping, and has to consume much too operating time. It is desired to solve this problem.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a multiple power tire inflator which pumps air to a tire quickly.
  • In order to attain the mentioned object, the multiple power tire inflator of the present invention comprises a housing and at least two pump devices within the housing. Each pump device includes a motor and a pump mechanism. Each pump device further forms a vent. A conduit respectively couples with the vents of the pump devices, and a pump valve connects with an end of the conduit. A monometer is plugged onto the conduit for indicating pumping state. A power wire with a vehicle power plug, respectively couples with the motors for providing power.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a multiple power tire inflator according to the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is an assembled view of the multiple power tire inflator, wherein a housing is removed to show inside thereof.
  • FIG. 3 shows a cross section of the assembled multiple power tire inflator.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, a multiple power tire inflator in accordance with the present invention has a couple of pump devices 20 within a housing 10. Each pump device 20 comprises a motor 21 and a pump mechanism 22. A conduit 23 respectively couples with vents 227 of the pump devices 20. A monometer 24 is plugged onto the conduit 23 for indicating pumping state. A pump valve 25 connects with an end of the conduit 23 for communicating the conduit 23 and a tire thereby quickly pumping air into the tire.
  • An output shaft (not labeled) of the motor 21 of each pump device 20 engages with the pump mechanism 22 at a front end thereof. The pump mechanism 22 includes a pump 226 on a base 221. A deceleration gear 222 is pivoted on a rear end of the base 221 and meshes with an output gear 223 on the output shaft of the motor 21. A cam 224 is coaxial to the deceleration gear 222, and is brought to rotate when the motor 21 activates the deceleration gear 222. A cantilever 225 has an end connecting with the cam 224 and another end connecting with the pump 226. The cantilever 225 drives the pump 226 reciprocating, thereby continuously blowing up air to the conduit 23 through the vents 227.
  • In addition, a power wire 27 has a vehicle power plug 26 at an end thereof, and couples with the motors 21 at another ends for providing power.
  • The multiple power tire inflator of the present invention comprises a couple of pumping devices 20 connecting with a conduit. Pumping strength of the present invention is relatively larger and pumping efficiency of the present invention is relatively higher. Correspondingly, the multiple power tire inflator of the present invention is able to pump air to a tire quickly.
  • Certainly, although only two pump devices 20 are provided in this embodiment, three or more pump devices 20 may be provided in the housing 10 as desired in other embodiments for further promoting efficiency.
  • The present examples and embodiments are to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive, and the invention is not to be limited to the details given herein.
