Abstract

A hand tool used to remove the dirt and mud from under fenders of off road motorcycles and all terrain vehicles, comprising of a handle and a scraper. The tool is adapted to facilitate a user applying force, urging the scraper in a forward motion against the underside of the fender.

  • BACKGROUND
  • 1. Field of Invention
  • This invention generally relates to tools used to work on motorcycles, specifically a tool used to scrape the mud from surfaces such as under fenders of off road motorcycles and all terrain vehicles.
  • 2. Prior Art
  • Previously, the other option for removing mud from under fenders is with use of a power washer (pressurized water). The power washer is expensive, impractical to haul, needs a power source (via gasoline engine or electrical supply), a water source. Frequent use of a power washer can prematurely age the motorcycle by ruining bearings, moisture damage and peeling off graphics.

  • The embodiment of the tool is shown if FIG. 1-3. FIG. 1 is a top/side cad model view of the tool. On the handle, making reference to the palm grip (1), display hole (2), side indentation (3), top indentation (4). On the blade, making reference to the product logo (5), and scraper (6).
  • FIG. 2 is a bottom/side cad model view of the tool. On the handle, displaying the palm grip (1), display hole (2), side indentation (3). On the blade, displaying the smooth, flat surface that tapers to the point of the scraper (6).
  • FIG. 3 is a cad model design of the top and side view of the tool, displaying the references listed above and the arched shape (7).
  • Operation
  • The manner in using the tool is as follows; The user gripping the handle, with index finger resting in the top indentation (4), placing the tool under the fender, applying force in a forward motion, pushing and wedging the scraper (6) between the mud and the fender, causing the mud to fall off.
  • CONCLUSION, RAMIFICATIONS, AND SCOPE
  • Accordingly, the reader will see that, according to the embodiment of the invention, I have provided a more affordable, easy to carry, practical and affordable tool to remove the mud from under fenders.

Claims (4)

1. A hand tool adapted to remove dirt and mud from under fenders of off road motorcycles and all terrain vehicles, the tool comprising a handle and a scraper, wherein the tool is adapted to facilitate a user applying force, urging the scraper in a forward motion against the under side of the fender.
2. The tool of claim 1, wherein said entire body has an arched shape.
3. The tool of claim 1, wherein said handle is a top indentation for the index finger.
4. The tool of claim 1, wherein said scraper has a flat smooth tapered shape.
