Abstract

Portable folding swing is being made of 3 basic parts 1 a and 1 b mutually connected with hinges (2) enabling folding (illustrations 3 and 4). The body (3) of swing frame is also separately foldable part that can be placed into double flexible joints (8) and (9) located on the body 1 a (illustrations 1 and 2). Body (3) can be upwardly removed with the axle (10) from the body 1 a and separately folded as shown by illustration 5. The swing can be used on the move due to wheels (5) located on at the front of the body 1 a (illustration) and is a children's toy.

Description

    DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Technical Field
  • This invention belongs to the category of children's toys, with the following characteristics:
      • two larger wheels that enable use of swing on the move
      • it can be folded for easier transport.
  • 2. Technical Problem
  • Technical issue this invention solves is how to make a walk more interesting to child than standard trolley, with the child swinging during the walk, having fun. Coming to a bench, child's parents may rest with the child still swinging. The swing has legs so it can stand on its own.
  • 3. State of the Art
  • The author is unaware of any similar all-terrain swing which retains its swing capabilities. Browsing all accessible sources of information (Internet, magazines, fairs, shopping malls) he didn't come across any technical solution.

  • EXPLANATION OF THE NATURE OF THE INVENTION AND DESCRIPTION
  • Portable folding swing is based on two new technical solutions:
      • Mobility due to two front wheels
      • Foldability which enables the swing to be placed in the trunk of even small cars.
  • The swing is made out of three basic bodies—1 a and 1 b—connected with hinges (2) that enable folding and assembly of the swing (illustration 3). The body (3) containing swing basket 4 a is made out of lower seat of the swing 4 b and flexible spacers 4 c (illustration1). The body 1 b has swing legs (6) that can be tightened with the screw (11) and rotated around the body 1 b into position illustrated on 3 and 4. On the body 1 a made out of curved pipe ø 1″ with thin wall, at the front of the body 1 a are wheels (5) that can be rotated with frame (7) tightened with the screw (12). Due to its cylindrical shape, it can be moved along the body 1 a in order to put wheels into wanted position more easily (5) (illustration 4) and enable regulation of swing's center of gravity along the body 1 a. The body of swing (3) is made out of 4 frames (3) that are connected with an axle (10) (illustration 2) with rotating frame (4), seats (4) carrying basket elements 4 a and 4 b with the string that passes through spacers 4 c enabling flexibility and foldability of the basket. Swing body (3) is foldable element that is installed on the body 1 a with 2 double flexible joints (8) and (9) (illustration 3). Folding of the swing body (3) is enabled by the axle (10) (illustration 5).
  • DISCLOSING THE ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION
  • The essence of the invention of a portable folding swing is that it consists of 3 basic parts 1 a, 1 b connected with hinges (2) (illustration1) which enable folding (illustration 3). The body (3) swing frame is also a foldable part that can be placed on 2 double flexible joints (8) and (9) that are located on the body 1 a (illustration 1) and (illustration 2). Pulling the axle (10) makes the whole body (3) separate from the body 1 a and fold according to the illustration 5. Another characteristic of this invention is its mobility provided by the wheels (5) on the body 1 a (illustration 2).
  • MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
  • Portable folding swing is primarily intended for entertainment. It can be used for walk in all terrains (city, beach, park). Thanks to large air-filled wheels it can be transported on non-paved roads. Materials standard in this branch of technology are used in commercial purposes—namely steel pipes 33 mm with thin walls and rectangular profiles 30×10 and 20×10 mm. Pipes are bent with the cold method, other parts are connected with welding. The seat can be wooden or plastic.

Claims (1)

1. Portable folding swing, portable due to two front wheels and folding so that it can be placed in the trunk of even small cars is characterised by three bodies, 1 a and 1 b (illustrations 1 and 2) connected with double hinges (2) enabling them to be folded (illustrations 3 and 4), front wheels (5) on body 1 a enabling mobility and swinging on the move, while the legs (6) on body 1 b enable swinging in place (illustration 1). Body (3) is a separate whole that is connected to the body 1 a via two double joints (8) and (9), and can be separated from the body 1 a and folded into a separate whole (illustration 5) which makes the construction more suitable for storage in the trunk or household store.
