Abstract
A stove assembly includes a stove, a connecting pipe, and a gas supply source. The stove includes a pressure gauge that is connected to an end of the connecting pipe. The stove is connected by a pipe to an outlet of a regulator whose inlet is connected to a first end of a three-way pipe. The three-way pipe further includes a second end connected to the other end of the connecting pipe and a third end connected to the gas supply source. Gas from the gas supply source enters the pressure gauge via the connecting pipe to allow a gas remaining amount of the gas supply source to be read from the pressure gauge. Furthermore, gas from the supply source can be supplied to the stove via the three-way pipe and the regulator.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a stove assembly and, more particularly, to a stove assembly with a pressure gauge for indicating gas remaining amount of a gas supply source.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
-
FIG. 2 of the drawings illustrates aconventional stove 1′ placed on top of abase 2′. Thestove 1′ is connected by a connectingpipe 3′ to anoutlet 41′ of aregulator 4′ in thebase 2′. Theinlet 42′ of theregulator 4′ is connected to afirst end 51′ of a three-way pipe 5′ whosesecond end 52′ andthird end 53′ are connected to apressure gauge 6′ and a gas supply source 7′, respectively. Since thepressure gauge 6′ is mounted inside thebase 2′, a user must open thedoor 21′ of thebase 2′ for examining the gas remaining amount of the gas supply source 7′. Furthermore, the reading on the gas supply source 7′ maybe misjudged if the light in thebase 2′ is dim. - The present invention is intended to solve this problem.
- A stove assembly in accordance with the present invention includes a stove, a connecting pipe, and a gas supply source.
- Other objectives, advantages, and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is an elevational view of a stove assembly in accordance with the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is an elevational view of a conventional stove assembly. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , a stove assembly in accordance with the present invention includes astove 1, a connectingpipe 2, and agas supply source 3. Thestove 1 may be a gas stove, gas broiler, or gas oven. Thestove 1 includes apressure gauge 11 that is connected to an end of the connectingpipe 2. Furthermore, thestove 1 is connected by apipe 12 to anoutlet 41 of aregulator 4 whoseinlet 42 is connected to afirst end 51 of a three-way pipe 5. The three-way pipe 5 further includes asecond end 52 connected to the other end of the connectingpipe 2 and athird end 53 connected to thegas supply source 3. - The
gas supply source 3 may be a gas container or a gas supply pipe from a gas company. Thus, gas from thegas supply source 3 enters thepressure gauge 11 via the connectingpipe 2 such that the gas remaining amount can be read from thepressure gauge 3. Furthermore, the gas from thesupply source 3 can be supplied to thestove 1 via the three-way pipe 5 and theregulator 4. - By such an arrangement, since the
pressure gauge 11 is connected to an end of the connectingpipe 2 the other end of which is connected to thethird end 53 of three-way pipe 5 and thegas supply source 3, the gas remaining amount of thegas supply source 3 can be readily read from thepressure gauge 3. - Although a specific embodiment has been illustrated and described, numerous modifications and variations are still possible without departing from the teachings of the invention. The scope of the invention is limited by the accompanying claims. later.
Claims (1)
1. A stove assembly comprising a stove, a connecting pipe, and a gas supply source, with the stove including a pressure gauge that is connected to an end of the connecting pipe, with the stove being connected by a pipe to an outlet of a regulator, with the regulator having an inlet connected to a first end of a three-way pipe, with the three-way pipe further including a second end connected to another end of the connecting pipe and a third end connected to the gas supply source such that gas from the gas supply source enters the pressure gauge via the connecting pipe to allow a gas remaining amount of the gas supply source to be read from the pressure gauge and that the gas from the supply source can be supplied to the stove via the three-way pipe and the regulator.
