Abstract

A stove assembly includes a stove, a connecting pipe, and a gas supply source. The stove includes a pressure gauge that is connected to an end of the connecting pipe. The stove is connected by a pipe to an outlet of a regulator whose inlet is connected to a first end of a three-way pipe. The three-way pipe further includes a second end connected to the other end of the connecting pipe and a third end connected to the gas supply source. Gas from the gas supply source enters the pressure gauge via the connecting pipe to allow a gas remaining amount of the gas supply source to be read from the pressure gauge. Furthermore, gas from the supply source can be supplied to the stove via the three-way pipe and the regulator.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a stove assembly and, more particularly, to a stove assembly with a pressure gauge for indicating gas remaining amount of a gas supply source.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • FIG. 2 of the drawings illustrates a conventional stove 1′ placed on top of a base 2′. The stove 1′ is connected by a connecting pipe 3′ to an outlet 41′ of a regulator 4′ in the base 2′. The inlet 42′ of the regulator 4′ is connected to a first end 51′ of a three-way pipe 5′ whose second end 52′ and third end 53′ are connected to a pressure gauge 6′ and a gas supply source 7′, respectively. Since the pressure gauge 6′ is mounted inside the base 2′, a user must open the door 21′ of the base 2′ for examining the gas remaining amount of the gas supply source 7′. Furthermore, the reading on the gas supply source 7′ maybe misjudged if the light in the base 2′ is dim.
  • The present invention is intended to solve this problem.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • A stove assembly in accordance with the present invention includes a stove, a connecting pipe, and a gas supply source.
  • Other objectives, advantages, and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is an elevational view of a stove assembly in accordance with the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is an elevational view of a conventional stove assembly.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIG. 1, a stove assembly in accordance with the present invention includes a stove 1, a connecting pipe 2, and a gas supply source 3. The stove 1 may be a gas stove, gas broiler, or gas oven. The stove 1 includes a pressure gauge 11 that is connected to an end of the connecting pipe 2. Furthermore, the stove 1 is connected by a pipe 12 to an outlet 41 of a regulator 4 whose inlet 42 is connected to a first end 51 of a three-way pipe 5. The three-way pipe 5 further includes a second end 52 connected to the other end of the connecting pipe 2 and a third end 53 connected to the gas supply source 3.
  • The gas supply source 3 may be a gas container or a gas supply pipe from a gas company. Thus, gas from the gas supply source 3 enters the pressure gauge 11 via the connecting pipe 2 such that the gas remaining amount can be read from the pressure gauge 3. Furthermore, the gas from the supply source 3 can be supplied to the stove 1 via the three-way pipe 5 and the regulator 4.
  • By such an arrangement, since the pressure gauge 11 is connected to an end of the connecting pipe 2 the other end of which is connected to the third end 53 of three-way pipe 5 and the gas supply source 3, the gas remaining amount of the gas supply source 3 can be readily read from the pressure gauge 3.
  • Although a specific embodiment has been illustrated and described, numerous modifications and variations are still possible without departing from the teachings of the invention. The scope of the invention is limited by the accompanying claims. later.

Claims (1)

1. A stove assembly comprising a stove, a connecting pipe, and a gas supply source, with the stove including a pressure gauge that is connected to an end of the connecting pipe, with the stove being connected by a pipe to an outlet of a regulator, with the regulator having an inlet connected to a first end of a three-way pipe, with the three-way pipe further including a second end connected to another end of the connecting pipe and a third end connected to the gas supply source such that gas from the gas supply source enters the pressure gauge via the connecting pipe to allow a gas remaining amount of the gas supply source to be read from the pressure gauge and that the gas from the supply source can be supplied to the stove via the three-way pipe and the regulator.
