  • This invention relates to a ventilating hood and a helmet with the ventilating hood, particularly to one fixed together with a helmet for reducing the temperature and the sultriness in the helmet, and a warning light set behind the ventilating hood to shine as a warning light, with the structure of the helmet kept intact not to be damaged.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • As Taiwan is densely populated and crowded, traffic is always heavy all over it, especially jam-packed during the rush hour. Moreover, parking is another problem troubling most of all drivers. Therefore, motorcycles become a dominant vehicle because of its good mobility and convenience. Nowadays, although a brake light is assembled at the rear of a motorcycle, lit up to warn the drivers coming behind it while braking the motorcycle or turning on the head light, but it is always located too low to be ignored by the drivers coming behind, especially if the rider wears dark clothes in the nighttime, apt to pose an accident of successive collision. In order to have a better warning effect, a helmet with a warning device has been provided to improve security of a motorcyclist.
  • As shown in FIG. 6, a first conventional helmet with a warning device includes a main body 9, which is provided with a slot 91 and a warning light 92 installed in the slot 91 for shining a warning signal to ensure a rider's security. But, such a helmet has the following disadvantages in using.
  • 1. Although the helmet can protect a user's head well, but it makes the user feel sweltering and uncomfortable while wearing it, especially in hot summer. So, the users are of course unwilling to wear such a helmet owing to the uncomfortable sultriness.
  • 2. The slot 91 cut in the main body 9 for fitting the warning light 92 may lessen the strength of the main body 9 to cause reduced protection to the user.
  • A second conventional helmet with a warning light, shown in FIG. 7, includes a main body 9, which is provided with a brake light 94 attached on its rear side or a proper location via an adhesive element 93, such as a twin adhesive tape. The brake light 94 is connected with a receiver 95 for receiving a signal sent by an emitter 7 that is installed at a random location of a motorcycle to connect with a power line 8 of a rear brake light. Therefore, when the rear braking light is lit up by the rider, the emitter 7 is to simultaneously send out a signal that is to be received by the receiver 95 to keep the brake light 93 lit up. But, such a helmet also has the following disadvantages in using.
  • 1. Like the first conventional helmet, the second known helmet also makes a user feel sweltering and uncomfortable while wearing it, especially in hot summer.
