Abstract

This invention relates to a golf tee and the modification of inserting a bubble “bulls eye” level onto the top face of the golf tee. The purpose for the bubble level ia to provide an indicator that the top surface of the golf tee is level. This bubble level will eliminate the chances of having the golf ball tilted or slanted in any direction.

Description

  • This invention relates to the golf tee and the modification to the top end of the golf tee. The modified change to the tee is to indicate that the surface of the golf tee is level and not tilted (to either side) before the setting of the golf ball on to the tee.
  • It is the norm in golf that every golfer will set the golf ball on to a golf tee or ground before starting each hole. The setting of the golf ball on to the golf tee is the most over looked step in the game of golf. Prior to this invention the golfer could not guarantee that the final placement of the golf ball was on a level surface. The present invention is intended to eliminate the unequal setting/tilt of the golf tee prior to the placement of the golf ball.
  • Many different types of tees have been suggested or designed to improve the game. A golf tee has two ends, a ball-holding end and pointed end for inserting into the ground. This invention modifies the ball-holding end of the golf tee. The golf tee maybe of a conventional shape or may include an enlarged head portion for greater placement surface.
  • The modification to the golf tee is the insertion of a bubble level into the top end of the golf tee. A bubble level is designed to indicate whether the surface is level.
  • The crudest form of a bubble level is the bull's eye level: a circular flat-bottomed device with the liquid under a slightly convex clear face which indicates the center clearly.
  • It serves to level a surface in two perpendicular directions. The main objective is to provide an accurate indicator to the golfer that the golf tee surface is in fact level before placing the golf ball on to the surface. This modification would be similar to a surveyor or photographer tripod that also has a bubble level to indicate that the surface is level before attaching their equipment on to the tripod.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the golf tee.
  • FIG. 2 is the side view cross section of the top end of the golf tee at 1 and with the bull's eye at 2 and conclave with liquid at 3 and golf tee at 4.
  • FIG. 3 is the top view of a golf tee with the bubble level at 1 and bull's eye at 2 and perpendicular line at 3 and the golf tee at 4.
  • Referring to the drawings, the conventional golf tee is shown generally at FIG. 1. FIG. 2 is the side view cross section of the top end of the golf tee at 1 and with the bull's eye at 2 and conclave with liquid at 3 and golf tee at 4. FIG. 3 is the top view of the golf tee that displays the bubble level at 1 and bull's eye at 2 and the perpendicular line at 3 and the golf tee at 4.

Claims (1)

1. A golf tee comprising a bubble level on the top face of the golf tee top end, should insure that the top face of the tee is level before placing the golf ball on to the tee. This level top face assure that the golf ball set onto the tee is also level before contact with the golf club.
