Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a necklace, especially to a necklace with a pendant used for hanging glasses.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- People usually wear necklaces for decoration. The traditional necklace may be implemented with a pendant strap but apart from decoration, the necklace and pendant does not provide any practical purpose.
- Moreover, many people who wear glasses do so temporarily, and need only wear glasses for a short time or for special purpose, such as reading, driving, wearing sunglasses outdoors or the like. Therefore, when not in use, or removed for taking a break, a storage device such as a box or a bag is required for the glasses.
- The objective of the present invention is to provide a necklace for hanging glasses, which is functional and decorative.
- The necklace for hanging glasses in accordance with the present invention comprises a pendant and a strap mounted through the pendant. A hanging hole is formed through the middle of the pendant for hanging the glasses. When wearing the necklace of the present invention, someone is capable of hanging the glasses on the hanging hole of the pendant. The present invention not only provides convenience, but the pendent also corresponds to and coordinates with the glasses thereby providing a decorative and functional item.
- Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a necklace for hanging glasses in accordance with the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of another embodiment of a necklace for hanging glasses inFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 3 is an operational perspective view of a necklace for hanging glasses inFIG. 1 ; and -
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of another embodiment of a necklace for hanging glasses inFIG. 1 . - With reference to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , a necklace (4) for hanging glasses (3) in accordance with the present invention comprises a pendant (1) and a strap (2). - The pendant (1) is a geometric figure and has a hanging hole (10), an optional ring (11) and a pattern layer (12). The geometric figure may be circular, ovular, quadrangular, rhombic, rectangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, heptagonal octagonal or the like.
- The hanging hole (10) is formed through the middle of the pendant (1) for hanging glasses (3).
- The ring (11) is a geometric figure formed on the pendant (1) and may correspond to the geometric figure of the pendant and has a through hole.
- With reference to
FIGS. 3 and 4 , the pendant (1) may further comprise a pattern layer (12). The pattern layer (12) is formed on an outside of the pendant (1) and may be formed on an outside of the ring (11). The pattern layer (12) of the pendant (1) is designed for the hanging glasses (3), may correspond to the hanging glasses (3) to make the pendant (1) and hanging glasses (3) a coordinated pair. - The strap (2) is mounted through the pendant (1), may be mounted through the ring (11) or the hanging hole (10) to allow someone to wear the necklace (4) with a pendant (1) and may further have a stabilizer (21) to hold the strap (2) tight. The strap (2) may be a chain, cord or such like, and may be a precious metal, leather, string, plastic or the like. The strap (2) is resilient. The stabilizer (21) is mounted on the strap (2) for stabilizing the strap (2) and the pendant (1).
- When wearing the necklace (4) with a pendant of the present invention, someone is capable of hanging the glasses (3) through the hanging hole (10) of the pendant (1), and the hanging glasses (3) are designed to correspond to and coordinate with the pendant thereby providing a decorative and functional item.
