Description

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • The embodiment as illustrated in the figure is an Easy Painting Drop Board referred to by the reference numeral 10. The synthetic protector is a rectangular plastic board 12 molded and hardened with nonmetallic compounds supported by the plastic layers and the plastic members of chambers 16 connected together 12 to form a fluted board construct. The four corners are able to bend without breaking, developing an upper margin plastic layer 18 and lower margin plastic layer 20.
  • As seen in FIG. 1 Painting Drop Board is designed to protect various surfaces from paint drips 10. This is accomplished by the use of the Painting Drop Board having borders 18 and 20 pushed parallel against the wall. When painting, the synthetic material 12 allows the Drop Board to slide easily on floor or carpet by using your foot as seen in FIG. 1, versatile and adjusted to the modification of the user for rolling, brushing, spraying, and spray paint shield.
  • As seen in FIG. 2 the Painting Drop Board can be folded 14 and reduced in size for use in compact areas such as closets, doors, doorways, and hand rails. Such variation and angles 14 make it difficult for a drop cloth to protect and prevent paint drippings since the drop cloth can move away from the wall while painting. My invention is molded and semi-stiff 18 and 20 with flexible plastic layers for protection against paint drips on the floor or carpet.
  • FIG. 3 A view of the Drop Board laying flat on the baseboard 10 protecting both the baseboard and the underlying surface from paint drips and having manufactured fluted layers 18 and 20 allowing the Drop Board to lay parallel on the baseboard. The Painting Drop Board has colored labels to alert the user 22 when painting near the margin of protection. The user also as the option to use either side of the Drop Board when painting.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 A perspective view showing Easy Painting Drop Board rectangular and parallel in accordance with the teachings
  • FIG. 2 A perspective view showing the embodiment in a folded position which changes the modification to paint in compact areas
  • FIG. 3 A cross-section view showing the preferred application laying on the baseboard for protection against paint drips
