Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention is related to a hub structure in a motor and particularly to a hub structure associated with a shaft in a motor.
  • 2. Brief Description of the Related Art
  • Referring to FIG. 1, the conventional hub structure associated with a shaft in a motor 1 provides a hub 11 with a fan wheel shell 111 and a bush 12 is provided at the lateral side of the fan wheel shell 111 for being joined to an end of the shaft.
  • While the preceding conventional hub 11 is fabricated to join the shaft 13, the shaft 13 is perpendicularly placed in a preset position of a bush 112 in a hub mold (not shown) precisely. Finally, plastic material is injected to the hub mold by means of injection molding to form the fan wheel shell 11 integrally attached to the shaft 13 as shown in FIG. 1 to complete the manufacturing process for joining the hub 11 and the shaft 13.
  • However, the preceding way to preset the shaft 13 in the hub mold and to be joined to the bush 112 of the hub 11 with injection molding is easy to result in the melt plastics flowing to press the shaft 13 and even to deviate the shaft 13 in case of the pressing force of the flowing plastics being excessively large without staying the preset position. Hence, the rotational center of the shaft 13 deviates an inclining angle θ with respect to the axial line L of the hub 11 after the hub is joined to the shaft 13. Under this condition, correction for the deviated shaft is required to increase a lot of extra works in order to fix the deviation.
  • Referring to FIG. 2, another type of the conventional hub structure associated with the shaft is illustrated. The second type conventional hub structure associated with the shaft 2 shown in FIG. 2 provides a motor shell 22 disposed at the inner surface of the fan wheel shell 211 and a locating bush 221 is arranged at center of the motor shell 22 for the shaft 23 capable of joining the locating bush 221.
  • The preceding second type conventional hub structure 2 is joined to the shaft 23 in a way of the shaft 23 being inserted into the locating bush 221 to be riveted with the motor shell 22, then the motor shell 22 with the shaft 23 being placed at a preset position in a hub mold (not shown) horizontally, next, the hub 21 being formed with injection molding, and finally, the hub 21 being cooled to join the motor shell 22 with the shaft 21 firmly. The second type conventional hub structure 2 overcomes the deficiency of the first type conventional hub structure I such that the shaft 23 is incapable of being pressed with the melt plastics and it is not possible to happen deviation of the shaft 23.
  • However, the shaft 23 in the second type conventional hub structure has to be joined to the motor shell 22 with rivets such that a riveting tool has to be added to complicate the fabricating process. Hence, extra labor hour cost and purchase cost of the riveting tool increase expenditure of the production.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly an object of the present invention is to provide a hub structure associated with a shaft in which a metal sleeve base is provided between the hub and shaft, such that it secures the shaft located at the rotational center without deviation from the axial line of the hub and saves the production cost.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a clamping device, which is detached easily while the CPU being replaced.
  • In order to achieve the object, a hub associated with a shaft in a motor according to the present invention includes a hub, a metal sleeve base and a shaft. The hub has a bush disposed at the center of the inner side of a lateral wall thereof and the sleeve base is inserted in and joined to the bush. The shaft has an end thereof is joined to the bush and another end thereof extending outward from the bush. The metal sleeve base provides an effect of more steadily locating the shaft during a manufacturing process for the shaft being joined to the hub. Hence, it secures the rotational center of the shaft aligns with the axial line of the hub without deviation and it saves the production cost substantially.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The detail structure, the applied principle, the function and the effectiveness of the present invention can be more fully understood with reference to the following description and accompanying drawings, in which:
  • FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a conventional hub attached to a shaft in a motor;
  • FIG. 2 is a sectional view of another conventional hub attached to a shaft in a motor;
  • FIG. 3 is a disassembled perspective view of a preferred embodiment of a hub structure associated with a shaft in a motor according to the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the preferred embodiment of a hub structure associated with a shaft in a motor according to the present invention;
  • FIG. 5 is a disassembled perspective view of another preferred embodiment of a hub structure associated with a shaft in a motor according to the present invention; and
  • FIG. 6 is a sectional view of another preferred embodiment of a hub structure associated with a shaft in a motor according to the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the first embodiment of a hub structure associated with a shaft in a motor according to the present invention includes a hub 31, a metal sleeve base 32 and a shaft 33.
  • The hub 31 has an annular fan wheel shell 311 with a flat circular lateral wall 3 10 and a bush 3 12 is integrally joined at the center of the inner side of the lateral wall 310.
  • The sleeve base 32 is attached to the bush 312 and disposed at the axial hole of the bush 312. Further, the sleeve base 32 has a circular base plate 321 and a sleeve section 322 with a reduced diameter extending from the base plate 321. In practice, the sleeve base 32 is made of a metal with hardness less than the shaft 33.
  • The shaft 33 is inserted into the and joined to the sleeve section 322 at an end thereof and another end of the shaft 33 extends outward the sleeve section 322. Because the shaft 33 is made of metal with hardness greater than the sleeve base 32, better joint between the shaft 33 and the sleeve base 32 can be obtained effectively.
  • Referring to FIG. 4, in case of the shaft 33 being attached to the hub 31, an end of the shaft 33 is joined to the sleeve section 322 of the sleeve base to touch the base plate 321 first. Then, the shaft 33 with the sleeve base 32 is placed in a preset position of a hub mold (not shown) precisely. Finally, plastic material is injected to the hub mold by means of injection molding to form the fan wheel shell 31 integrally attached to the shaft 33 with the sleeve base 32 firmly.
  • As the foregoing, the metal sleeve base 32 is disposed between the hub 31 and the shaft 33 is joined to the hub 31 via the sleeve base 32 during the manufacturing process such that more steady effect can be obtained substantially. It is noted that once the plastic material is injected to hub mold, the plastic material contacts with the sleeve base 32 instead of pushing the shaft 33 so that phenomenon of the shaft becoming deviating or offsetting can be avoided effectively. Hence, it is capable of assuring the rotational center of the shaft 33 to align with the axial line L of the hub 31 after the manufacturing process for the shaft 33 with the sleeve base 32 being joined to the hub 31 is complete. Besides, an end of the shaft 33 being simply inserted into the sleeve section 322 is able to complete operation of the shaft being attached to the sleeve base 32 without need of any other tool devices such that it is less production cost and tool purchase cost in addition to easy fabrication.
  • Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, another embodiment of a hub structure associated with a shaft in a motor according to the present invention is illustrated. It is noted that same reference numerals for the identical parts as the first embodiment are used in the present embodiment. The present embodiment includes a hub 31, a metal sleeve base 32 and a shaft 33. The difference of the present embodiment from the first embodiment is in that a flange 323 is arranged at a lateral side thereof opposite to the circular base plate 321. The sleeve section 312 provides an annular recess 313 corresponding to the flange 323. In this way, the flange 323 enhances engagement between the metal sleeve base 32 and the hub 31 in addition to the base plate 321.
  • It is appreciated that the hub associated with the shaft in a motor according to the present invention is capable structure allowing the shaft is joined to the hub more steadily after being fabricated to secure the rotational center of the shaft 33 being aligning with the axial line of the hub 31. Meanwhile, the hub structure associated with the shaft of the present invention is capable of saving production cost.
  • While the invention has been described with referencing to preferred embodiments thereof it is to be understood that modifications or variations may be easily made without departing from the spirit of this invention, which is defined by the appended claims.
