Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Comparting boards are typically used as partition or divider panels to create cubical spaces at home or offices. At present, a scrubboard is generally provided at the lower portion of comparting wall, so as to stabilize the comparting wall and keep it in place. The scrubboard also prevents the comparting wall from collapsing. The scrubboard, however, provides minimal visually esthetic effect to the comparting wall. Also, a typical scrubboard is plainfully designed and needs to be pre-constructed in advance for assembling with the comparting walls. Furthermore, such scrubboard provides no other functional purpose. In the mean time, electrical wirings in the cubical space are typically arranged in a categorized sense by wire bundling belts, bundling tubes or nails. Such arrangement of wirings negatively affects the appearance of the comparting walls.
- In the present invention, a scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein is set forth to provide a solution to the above mentioned problems. The present invention combines the functions provided by the scrubboard and wirings arrangement. Such scrubboard improves neatness and provides a pleasing appearance. Further, the construction and assembly can be conveniently and cost-efficiently achieved. Furthermore, the scrubboard can be constructed at any time and place and the wirings can be safely received therein.
- It is, therefore, an objective of the present invention to provide a scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein, in which a wirings reception body and a scrubboard body are combined together to achieve such objective.
- It is another objective of the present invention to provide a scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein, in which wirings are received in a categorized sense.
- It is yet another objective of the present invention to provide a scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein, a scrubboard that can be easily constructed/assembled and capable of safely receiving the wirings therein.
- It is still another objective of the present invention to provide a scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein, and achieves the purposes of aesthetic appearance and practical use.
- It is still another objective of the present invention to provide a scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein, and provide extension channels in which the wirings may extended and connected externally along any direction to electrical switches, outlets, or other electrical connectors or connections.
- According to the present invention, the scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein comprises a wirings reception body having a plurality of comparting boards forming a plurality of vertical partitions, at least a fixation hole and an upper concave and lower concave slots on an upper and lower ends thereof, respectively, wherein the wirings reception body can be fixed to a comparting wall by inserting a screw or other fastener into the fixation hole. Since intended position of the scrubboard on the comparting wall can be different to suit different needs, a plurality of fixation holes are provided so that the scrubboard can be adjustably installed onto the comparting wall by using the most appropriate fixation hole. As for the scrubboard body, it has an upper and lower convex slots therein on an upper and lower ends, respectively, designed to mate with the upper and lower concave slots of the wirings reception body, wherein the wirings are allowed to be categorized and arranged in different ones of the plurality of vertical partitions, respectively.
- In a preferred embodiment, upper, lower and rear holes are formed on the wirings reception body, so that the wirings can extend out of these holes and be thus connected externally to a switch, an outlet or other electrical connectors.
- The drawings disclose an illustrative embodiment of the present invention which serves to exemplify the various advantages and objectives hereof, and are as follows:
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a wirings reception body of a scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein according to the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a scrubboard body of the scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein according to the present invention; -
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein according to the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view of the scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein according to the present invention; -
FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the wirings reception body of the scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein according to the present invention; and -
FIG. 6 is an implementation diagram of the scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein according to the present invention. - Referring to
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , awirings reception body 11 and ascrubboard body 12 are respectively shown and intended to be combined together to form a scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein. In thewirings reception body 11, a plurality of compartingboards 112 are utilized to form vertically multiple sections, in which categorized wirings are respectively received therein. Screws or other fasteners are used to fix, throughfixation holes 117, thewirings reception body 11 onto a comparting wall. Thewirings reception body 11 may be combined with thescrubboard body 12 through a connection means to form the scrubboard of the present invention. In a preferred embodiment, thewirings reception body 11 has aconcave slot 111 and thescrubboard body 12 has aconvex slot 121, where thewirings reception body 11 and thescrubboard board 12 can be matingly combined together by connecting theconcave slot 111 and theconvex slot 121. With the scrubboard capable of receiving wirings therein according to the present invention, the scrubboard safely hides the wiring from being in plain view thus improving aesthetic appearance. - Referring to
FIG. 3 , since thewirings reception body 11 and thescrubboard body 12 are combined together through the connection means 111 and 121, the scrubboard can be assembled and detached easily even without any auxiliary tool by simply snapping thescrubboard body 12 onto thewiring reception body 11. To further enhance the convenience of assembly and detachment of the scrubboard, an undulating surface structure/texture design is provided to improve handling and minimize slippery conditions on the upper andlower ends outer face 126 of the scrubboard body itself, respectively. For aesthetic reason, other line and pattern design of many kinds may be provided in place of the undulating surface structure/texture to achieve the same goal on the upper andlower ends outer face 126 of the scrubboard body itself, respectively. - Referring to
FIG. 4 andFIG. 5 ,upper holes lower holes upper hole 124 is formed on theupper end 122 of the scrubboard body and theupper hole 124 is formed on anupper end 113 of the wirings reception body, respectively. Further, theupper holes upper end 122 of the scrubboard body and anupper end 113 of the wirings reception body mate with each other, so that the wirings may extend and be thus connected upward to an external destination. Thelower hole 127 is formed on thelower end 123 of the scrubboard body and thelower end 118 is formed on alower end 114 of the wirings reception body, respectively. Further, thelower holes lower end 123 of the scrubboard body and thelower end 114 of the wirings reception body mate with each other, so that the wirings may extend and be thus connected downward to an external destination. In addition, arear hole 116 may be further provided so that the wirings may extend and be thus connected to external destinations at the rear side of the scrubboard and perhaps into the comparting wall. In fact, the above mentioned holes may be in any number depending on the application and requirement. - Referring to
FIG. 6 , when the wirings extend outwardly through therear hole 116, it is advantageous that the wirings are arranged so that it is hidden from plain view, i.e. the wirings are hidden in the compartingwall 2. - The contemplated scrubboard can also be installed on ordinary walls.
- Many changes and modifications in the above described embodiment of the invention can, of course, be carried out without departing from the scope thereof. Accordingly, to promote the progress in science and the useful arts, the invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.
