- 1) Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to an improved bottle or container cap made to have less air and pressure indicator with pressure relief system, and provide more tighter seals in a bottle or container cap arrangement.
- 2) Description of Related Art
- Many types of caps are available to be use with bottles and container. Most of the bottle caps are simple plastic caps or made of metal having threads that goes on to the bottle. Bottles are usually have cap with one rubber or other source of sealing arrangement. Which seal top of the bottle, where bottle have contact with seal. Seal is press by cap, toward the bottle. The area of seal is very limited due to only top outer circle area of the bottle are having contact with seal, also bottle contain pills sensitive to moisture will have drying substance in a paper or plastic package with the pill which is not a safe way to put these two item together because in the event of swallowing the drying substance could put people in danger, good example of these are one of medicine bottle in the market today. Bottle with carbonated beverages also needs tighter seal to keep the freshness of the drink.
- U.S. Pat. No. 4,540,102 issue to waiter wiedmer had good idea about FIG. 1
cap portion 2 having an axially extending portion 4 which enters and engages the inner area of the container's mouth portion. Deficiency here is that seal would be too tight when there is pressure in container, pressure press portion 4's bottom area to put pressure inside of cap to press portion 4 toward inner area of container's mouth where cap screw on. Also cap's inner are fixed for one purpose. - U.S. Pat. No. 4,712,699 issued to Michael Luts has inner rib or valve 20 generally cylindrical and extends downwardly from the upper wall 16 of the cap closure. Deficiency here is cap is fixed for one purpose, not a changeable system also cap would be too tight to open when pressure built inside of container like above patent.
- U.S. Pat. No. 5,853,096 issued to Maya H. Bartur had real simple spring in a cap seal system FIG. 1a, FIG. 1b, FIG. 1c, that even with slight twist in cap would loose gas in traditional cola cap seal arrangement, but Maya H. Bartur's cap seal still provide sealing due to springs flexibility.
- Deficiency here is that cap seal system does not remove air in a bottle or limit space so that substance have less space of moving around. Also not changeable with other seal arrangement.
- The present invention cap having attachable threaded cylindrical element to provide more sealing area with pressure release hole and pressure indicator, net container or extension to solve the problems mention before and more. By having cylinder shape elements extended into the bottle will remove access air and provide more seal contact area, plus different types of attachment to provide different needs. First medicine pill bottle that has drying substance put with pills can be fixed by bottle cap with net cylinder attached to a cap and put drying substance inside. This results, no accidental swallowing of the substance will happen. Second bottle with carbonated beverages will have lot more seal area due to cylinder element will go inside of the bottle to provide more contact seal area. Since tighter seal, less carbonated gas will be lost and freshness will last longer. Third bottle cap has pressure indicator inside the cylinder device with crease on them to inform the user to use caution when they are pressurized by substance inside the bottle or container.
