The cap illustrated in Fig. 5 is similar to that of Fig. 4, except that the shell 36 is provided with an annular bead or corrugation 31 to facilitate manipulation of the plug cap. Shells 30 and 36 are provided with circular openings I I as described in connection with Fig. 1, through which the conductors enter the cap. Lining 3| (Figs. 4, 5 and 6) is also provided with a registering opening 38 for a like purpose. f
The insulating lining portions of the cap are preferably formed of a suitable tough, fibrous maY teria1,whereas the contact supporting disk is alsoAV formed of a tough or reinforced form of insulation. Moreover, in practice vthe lining' I3 shown in Fig. 1 may consist of paper or other inexpen-y sive brous material. It Willrthus be apparen that plug caps of the character herein described are not liable to break when dropped or otherwise roughly handled. Similarly, the various parts may be readily assembled to provide a strong and serviceable plug cap. Y
What I claim and desire to 'secure by Letters Patent is:v A
1. In an attachment plug, the combination with a one-piece metallic shell, of a lining therefor composed of. separate insulating sections, a perforated insulating disk orplateinterposedbetween said sections, contact members rigidly secured to said disk, and means for securing said shell, lining and disk in assembled relationship to each other.

In an attachment plug, the combination with a one-piece metallic shell, of a lining therefor composed of separate insulating sections, a. perforated insulating disk or plate interposed between said sections, contact members rigidly secured to said disk, and means on said shell for securing said disk and said sections 'in asembled relation. Y
3. An attachment plug cap comprisingV a onepiece metallic shell, a sectional lining therefor, said lining comprising tough fibrous insulating material, a perforated base of insulating material interposed between the lining sections, a plurality of combined contact blade and wiringierminal members carried by saidbase, and commonmeans for securing the several parts in assembled relation, the wiring terminal portions of said members being accessible for'wlr'ingv Vafter' complete assembly of the cap parts.
4. An attachment plug cap comprising a onepiece metallic cap body, a sheet insulation lining for said body secured Withinv the. latter, a relatively thin but relatively rigid member of .sheet insulation arranged within said'cap body in a plane spaced upwardly from' the lower edge thereof and engaged on oposite faces thereof by said lining for support by the latter, and contact blades rigidly secured to said relatively rigid member.
5. An attachment plug cap comprising a metallic cap body, a sheet insulation lining for `said body secured within the latter, a relatively thin but relatively rigid member of sheet insulation arranged Within said cap body and engaged with said lining for support by the latter, said member having an opening formed therein-to provide 'a cord passage, and combined wiring terminal and contact blade members rigidly secured .to the outer face of said-relatively rigid member, said wiring terminals being exposed and readily accessible in the assembled relation oi said 6. In an attachment plug cap, the combination with a one-piece metallic shell ofsubstantially cup-shape, an annular shoulderintermedite'th@ ends of said shell, an insulating member resting within said shell and having its outer edge substantially flush with said shoulder, an insulating disk adapted to seat against said shoulder, an insulating ring adapted to engage the opposite side of said disk to hold the latter in position and means for retaining said ring in assembled relation to said shell.
7. In an attachment plug cap, the combination rwith a one-piece metallic shell of substantially cup-shape, an annular shoulder intermediate the Vends of Ysaid shell, an insulating member resting Within saidY shell and having its outer edge substantially flush with said shoulder, an insulating disk adaptedy to seat against said shoulder, an insulating ring adapted to engage the opposite side of said disk to hold the latter in position, and an annular inturned flange on said shell adapted to engage said ring.
8. In an attachment plug cap, the combination with a one-piece metallic shell of substantially cup-shape, an annular shoulder intermediate the ends of said shell, an insulating member resting within said shell and having its outer edge substantially flush with said shoulder, an insulating disk adapted to seat against said shoulder, said shell, insulating member and disk'having registering openings to permit passage of connecting wires, and a relatively thick insulating ring interposed between said disk and the outer end of said shell, the latter having an inturned annular flange engaging said ring to hold the parts in assembled relation.
9. An attachment plug cap comprising a onepiece metallic shell, a lining therefor comprising a plurality of sections of sheet insulation,a relatively thinY but relatively rigid member of .sheet insulation engaged with and supported by said insulating lining said member having an opening formed therein to provide a. cord passage, and a plurality oi' one-piece combined contact blade and terminal members secured to said relatively rigid member of sheet insulation and exposed on the outer face of the latter.
10. An attachment plug'cap comprising a metallic cap body, aV sheet insulation lining for said body secured within the latter, a relatively thin but relatively rigid member of sheet insulation arranged within said cap and engaged with said lining for support by the latter, said cap body, sheet'insulation lining and relatively rigid member each having an opening and said openings being Valined to provide acord passage, and onepiece combined wiring terminal and contact blade members carried by said relatively rigid' member, the wiring terminal portions of said members being exposed and readily accessible in the assembled relation of said parts.

An attachment plug cap comprising a cupl shaped cap having interior walls formed of sheet insulation, a relatively rigid part of sheet insulation spanning the interior of said cap and engaged with the insulation walls of the latter for support thereby in a iixed position, contact blades fixed to said relatively rigid part and having wiring terminals on the exposed face of the latter, said cap having an annular wall projecting beyond said relatively rigid part and said wiring terminals to seat endwise against a complementary plug part, and said plug cap being formed to provide a passage for wires to be attached to said terminals.
