Description
- The present invention relates to a sisal target block of dartboards and its fabrication process.
- Target blocks of electronic dartboards currently available on the market are mostly made of plastics or artificial fibers; the scattered raw materials are bonded together by the addition of a colloid, and then put into a target-block-shaped container. The target block made in this way is poor in compactness and uniformity, and stability of a dart fixed on the dartboard; the addition of a great amount of the colloid, during the bonding process of the raw materials of the target blocks, not only increases costs, but also is disadvantageous to environmental protection; the target block in the target-block-shaped container may deform the container on all sides, which makes the next assembly process difficult to proceed, obstructing improving the product quality on one hand, and further increasing the production costs on the other hand.
- The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-quality sisal target block of electronic dartboards.
- The technical solutions for the above purpose are described below:
- A sisal target block of dartboards, which is characterized in that long sisal raw material bound in a bundle is extrusion molded, and then cut into a sisal block of a predetermined shape, with which a preformed container is fully filled to form the target block;
- the sisal blocks are bonded with the container at the contacting part with a colloid coated on the internal surfaces of the container;
- the bound bundle means that the long sisal raw material is collected tightly together along the length direction of the sisal thread, with a tape wrapping around.
- Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a simple and reliable fabrication process that can improve quality of the sisal target block.
- The fabrication process for the sisal target block of dartboards includes the following steps:
- (1) raw material forming: cut the sisal raw material bound in a bundle into the sisal block of a predetermined size;
- (2) mold forming: extrusion mold the sisal block in a mold;
- (3) coating container with colloid: coat the internal side and bottom surfaces of the prefabricated target-block-shaped container with the colloid;
- (4) container forming: fully fill the container with the mold-formed sisal block by an external pushing force, and sufficiently bond the sisal block with the colloid coated on the internal surfaces of the container to prevent the block from falling off;
- (5) trimming: trim the surface of the sisal block in the container to make it flat and tidy;
- (6) surface treatment: color the trimmed surfaces of the sisal blocks respectively by distinguishing the target blocks with different scores.
- The above fabrication process is characterized in that the raw material is formed by extrusion molding the arranged long sisal raw material into a long bundle of sisal bars with a hemp packing machine, wrapping the sisal bars with the tape, and then cutting the sisal bars into the sisal blocks of the predetermined size.
- The colloid used in the container forming step is of a natural seasoning or a heat drying type.
- Sisal is used as the raw material of the target block in the present invention; other hemp threads, etc., with characters similar to those of sisal, can also be chosen as the raw materials, and the fabrication process is basically the same.
- It can be known from the above technical solutions that the present invention provides the high-quality sisal target block of dartboards and the fabrication process. The sisal target block is made of sisal mainly through such steps as raw material forming, mold forming, cutting, coating container with colloid, container forming, trimming and surface treatment. In this way, not only a mass production but also the simple fabrication process of the dartboard blocks can be realized, with quality of the dartboards improved.
