Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a note container, and more particularly to a note container that accommodates to hold notes with different sizes.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- Notes or notepaper are used to leave messages or write brief records, and usually can be easily found on the desk in offices. The notes are now available in a wide range of various sizes, shapes and colors for various usages and demands. A person can select a note with an appropriate size and color to show that something is significant, such as red for urgent. Besides, a person may be easy to recognize the meaning of a note by its size, shape or color without reading the record on the note.
- The notes are manufactured with a stack of notepaper and each piece of notepaper has a readherable strip of adhesive on its back. Fan-folded, pop-up notes are popular because this kind of notes is convenient to use. However, the person may need to use several kinds of notes with different sizes or shapes, to arrange and store the notes is a problem. The desk becomes messy and disordered, if the office supplies including the notes cannot be well arranged and stored. The person may not easy to find and take immediately a piece of notepaper with an appropriate size to write the messages when the person is busy in the offices. Therefore, the notes are inconvenient to use and store, and may cause the desk messy.
- To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention provides a note container to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a note container that contains notepaper in various sizes, shapes or colors.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a note container that is convenient to store notepaper.
- A note container in accordance with the present invention includes a base assembly and a first and a second compartment. The base assembly has a body and two half covers. The body has an inner space and a pressing button. The half covers are pivotally mounted on the body to cover the inner space. The first compartment is demountably mounted in the inner space of the body and divides the inner space into an upper space and a lower space. The second compartment is pivotally mounted on the body, held in the upper space when the half covers cover the inner space of the body. The second compartment has a receiving recess in which a paper holder with several second stacks of notepaper is mounted. The lower space is adapted to hold a first stack of notepaper that is different in size, shape or color with the second stacks of notepaper.
- Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded, perspective view of a note container in accordance with the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is an operational side view in partial section of the container in FIG. 1 when the container is open; -
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the container inFIG. 1 when the container is closed; and -
FIG. 4 is an operational, perspective view of the container inFIG. 2 , when the note container is open. - With reference to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , a note container in accordance with the present invention comprises a base assembly, afirst compartment 2, asecond compartment 3 and apaper holder 6. Thecompartments paper holder 6 is connected to thesecond compartment 3. - The base assembly comprises a
body 1 and two half covers 11. Thebody 1 has an inner space, apressing button 13 and ajoint seat 14. Thejoint seat 14 may be arranged opposite to thepressing button 13. - The
half covers 11 are pivotally mounted on thebody 1 withresilient members 12, such as springs. The half covers 11 cover the inner space of thebody 1. Each of thehalf covers 11 has arecess 111 with alatch 112 inside. The tworecesses 111 provide a space to hold thepressing button 13 and thelatches 112 engage thepressing button 13 when the half covers 11 cover thebody 1. The operation of covering the half covers 11 deforms theresilient members 12 so that the half covers 11 will pop up to open thebody 1 when thepressing button 13 is pressed to disengage thelatches 112. - The
first compartment 2 is demountably mounted in the inner space of thebody 1 and divides the inner space into an upper portion A and a lower portion B. A volume of the upper portion A is smaller than the volume of the lower portion B so that the lower portion B may hold and contain a first stack ofnotepaper 4. The first stack ofnotepaper 4 may be in form of fan-folded notes. Thefirst compartment 2 has anelongated hole 21 through which a piece of thestack notepaper 4 in the lower portion B passes. Therefore, a person may access the first stack ofnotepaper 4 to draw out a piece of thenotepaper 4 when the half covers 11 are open. - The
second compartment 3 is mounted and held in the upper portion A of thebody 1 and lies on thefirst compartment 2 when thehalf covers 11 are closed. Thesecond compartment 3 has apivotal joint 31, arecess 32 and anelongated opening 33. Thepivotal joint 31 is pivotally mounted on thejoint seat 14 of thebody 1 so that thesecond compartment 3 may be pivoted relative to thebody 1. The receivingrecess 32 holds and receives thepaper holder 6 with several second stacks ofnotepaper 5 that are secured and held by thepaper holder 6. The second stacks ofnotepaper 5 may be strip notepaper and be used as flags, tabs or markers. The second stacks ofnotepaper 5 are smaller than the first stack ofnotepaper 4 in size. Theelongated opening 33 communicates with thereceiving recess 32 and permits pieces ofstrip notepaper 5 passing through so that a person may draw out the pieces ofstrip notepaper 5. - The
second compartment 3 is pivoted to abut on thefirst compartment 2, and the half covers 11 are pivoted to cover thebody 1. Since thelatches 112 of the half covers 11 engage thepressing button 13, thehalf covers 11 will cover thebody 1 so that an entire appearance of the note container is sightly, compact and neat. - With further reference to
FIGS. 3 and 4 , a person can press thepressing button 13 to open thebody 1 because of the deformedresilient members 12. The half covers 11 pop up when thelatches 112 disengage thepressing button 13. The person may pivot thesecond compartment 3 relative to thebody 1 to selectively access and draw out thenotepaper - The note container in accordance with the present invention has some advantages.
- First, the note container can hold and contain several stacks of notepaper with different sizes, shapes and colors.
- Second, the note container is convenient to use and store.
- Third, the note container is compact and renders the desk arranged and ordered.
- Even though details of the structure and numerous advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, the disclosure is illustrative only. Persons skilled in the art will recognize that the invention can be practiced with modifications, within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
