Abstract

A fan with a function of far infrared ray emission has a shell, a circuit board mounted in the shell, a stator, a rotator, at least one far infrared radiator. The far infrared radiators will emit far infrared ray, which is further spread with the airflow caused by the rotation of the rotator.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a fan, and particularly relates to a fan with a function of far infrared ray emission.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • The conventional fan has a shell. A circuit board, a stator, and a rotator are mounted in the shell. The stator with windings is electrically connected with the circuit board, the rotator has a permanent magnet mounted therein, and the rotator is rotatably mounted around the stator. When the fan is actuated electrically, with the electromagnetism principle, the rotator is driven to rotate and to produce airflow.
  • However, the conventional fan can only provide airflow to eliminate heating without any other auxiliary function and is not versatile in use.
  • Therefore, the invention provides a fan with a function of far infrared ray emission to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main objective of the present invention is to provide a fan with a function of far infrared ray emission comprising a shell, a circuit board, a stator, a rotator, and at least one far infrared radiator.
  • The shell has a chamber, at least one air inlet and at least one air outlet. The air inlet and outlet are defined in the shell and communicate with the chamber. The circuit board and the stator are mounted in the chamber, and the stator is electrically connected wit thhe circuit board. The rotator is rotatably mounted around the stator and has a permanent magnet mounted in the rotator and mounted around and separate from the stator. The far infrared radiator is mounted in the shell at the outlet and is electrically connected with the circuit board to radiate far infrared ray, which will be spread with the airflow caused by the rotation of the rotator.
  • Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a fan with a function of far infrared ray in accordance with this invention;
  • FIG. 2 is an operational top view of the fan in FIG. 1 with a cover being removed;
  • FIG. 3 is an operational side view in partial section of the fan in FIG. 1; and
  • FIG. 4 is an enlarged perspective view of the fan in FIG. 1.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference to FIGS. 1-4, a fan with a function of far infrared emission in accordance with the present invention has a shell (10), a circuit board (20), a stator (30), a rotator (40), and at least one far infrared radiator (50).
  • The shell (10) includes a base (11) and a cover (12) mounted on the base (11) with bolt or other fasteners. The base (11) has a chamber, a seat, at least one air inlet (13) and at least one air outlet (14). The seat is formed at the bottom of the chamber, and the air inlet (13) and air outlet (14) are defined in the shell and communicates with the chamber. In optional embodiments, an air inlet (13) and an air outlet (14) are defined respectively in the top and the bottom of the shell (10), or two air inlets (13) are defined respectively in the top and the bottom of the shell (10) and at least one air outlet (14) is defined in the base (11) near the bottom of the base (11).
  • The circuit board (20) is mounted in the chamber above the seat, with circuitry, inductor, and other electric elements.
  • The stator (30) with windings is mounted in the chamber above the circuit board (20), the windings are electrically connected with the circuit board (20).
  • The rotator (40) is mounted in the chamber around the stator (30), has a hollow impeller, multiple blades, a permanent magnet (41) and a pintle. The hollow impeller has a cavity in which the stator (30) is mounted. The blades are formed round the hollow impeller. The permanent magnet (41) is mounted in the inner wall of the hollow impeller around and separated from the stator (30). The pintle is mounted in the center of the cavity, mounted in the center of the stator (30) with a bearing, so that the rotator (40) is able to rotate around the stator (30).
  • Multiple far infrared radiators (50) are mounted at the air outlets (14), a ventilation space (15) is between each pair of adjacent radiators (50). Each far infrared radiator (50) includes a ceramic chip (51) that is able to radiate far infrared ray, and a heater (52) is mounted in the ceramic chip (51) and is electrically connected with the circuit board (20) to generate heat and activate the ceramic chips (51) to emit the far infrared ray.
  • When the fan is actuated to make the rotator (40) rotation, air will be drawn into the chamber from the inlet (13) and discharged from the outlet (14) to provide a heat dissipating effect. At this time, the heaters (52) are actuated to generate heat and activate the ceramic chip (51) to emit the far infrared ray, so that the fan in accordance with the present invention has auxiliary function of far infrared ray emission and is versatile in use.
  • It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only. Changes may be made in the details, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.

Claims (4)

1. A fan with a function of far infrared ray emission comprising a shell, a circuit board, a stator, a rotator, and at least one far infrared radiator;
the shell having a chamber, at least one air inlet and at least one air outlet, wherein the at least one air inlet and the at least one outlet are defined in the shell and communicate with the chamber;
the circuit board and the stator mounted in the chamber, and the stator electrically connected with the circuit board;
the rotator rotatably mounted around the stator and having a permanent magnet mounted in the rotator and mounted around and separate from the stator; and
the at least one far infrared radiator mounted in the shell at the least one outlet and electrically connected with the circuit board.
2. The fan with a function of far infrared ray emission as claimed in claim 1, wherein each one of the at least one far infrared radiator comprises a ceramic chip and a heater mounted in the ceramic chip.
3. The fan with a function of far infrared ray emission as claimed in claim 2, wherein the fan comprises multiple far infrared radiators mounted at the at least one air outlet, and a ventilation space is between each pair of adjacent far infrared radiators.
4. The fan with a function of far infrared ray emission as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fan comprises multiple far infrared radiators mounted at the at least one air outlet, and a ventilation space is between each pair of adjacent far infrared radiators.
