Description
- The present invention is related to a slipproof pad of a slide board, and more particularly to a slipproof pad of a slide board, which is equipped with light sources for achieving decorative effect as well as warning effect in a dim environment.
- The conventional slide board (ski board) is generally made from timbers or fiber glass. Such slide board has polished surface. When stepping on the slide board, a player's feet tend to slip. In order to avoid slippage, a slipproof pad made from frictional plastic or rubber material is disposed on rear end of the slide board (ski board). The slipproof pad can be adhered to the slide board or fixed on the slide board by screws. The slipproof pad is formed with multiple ribs for enhancing the frictional effect. The slipproof pad is able to prevent a player's feet from slipping away from the slide board so as to facilitate control of the slide board.
- However, the above slipproof pad lacks any additional function such as light-changing decorative function and warning effect in a dim environment. Accordingly, such slide board is unattractive and has no special competitive ability on the market.
- It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide an improved slipproof pad of a slide board. The slipproof pad has inbuilt light sources for emitting light in a dim environment to achieve a warning effect and avoid collision.
- It is a further object of the present invention to provide the above slipproof pad of the slide board, in which multiple light sources can emit different colors of light at different periods so as to create a decorative effect.
- According to the above objects, the slipproof pad of the slide board of the present invention includes a slipproof pad main body made from a transparent material. The slipproof pad is disposable on a slide board or the like for a player to tread and slide with. A center of top face of the slipproof pad main body is formed with a receiving space. A cell room is defined in the receiving space, in which a cell can be accommodated. The periphery of the receiving space is formed with multiple locating mortises. At least one light source is disposed in the receiving space of the slipproof pad main body beside the cell room. The conductive sections of the light source extend to a position near the positive and negative electrodes of the cell. An elastic tread body is fitted in the receiving space of the slipproof pad main body to cover the receiving space. One face of the tread body is formed with a peripheral wall corresponding to the receiving space of the slipproof pad main body. Multiple tenons are formed on outer periphery of the peripheral wall respectively corresponding to the locating mortises of the receiving space. A protruding press section is disposed at a center of the peripheral wall corresponding to the cell room of the slipproof pad main body. The tenons of the tread body are inserted in the locating mortises of the receiving space to locate the tread body therein. In the case that the tread body is forcedly pressed toward the receiving space, the conductive sections of the light source electrically contacts with the electrodes of the cell to make the light source emit light. Accordingly, a warning effect or decorative effect can be achieved.
