Abstract
The present invention discloses a curtain ballchain wheel, comprising an outer seat provided with an outer seat plate, an outer seat sleeve extends perpendicularly from the center of the outer seat plate, an outer seat core set comprising outer seat cores extending integratedly from arrow ends and forming seat steps due to dimensional differences in the front ends, wherein the outer seat sleeve is socketingly engaged with a spring, whose ends are provided with a spring leg, respectively, and the outer seat plate perpendicularly extends to form a segment of outer seat collar; a ball seat comprising a seat rim, a seat ring perpendicularly connected with the sear rim, and a seat through hole in the center, wherein a ball chamber to receive a plurality of balls are provided around the seat rim; and an inner socket comprising a inner sleeve and an inner ring of larger outer diameter, wherein an inner hole is provided and the inner wall of the inner sleeve is arranged with different inner diameters to form sleeve steps. Consequently, when the ball seat is socketingly engaged with the outer seat sleeve, the outer seat plate of the outer seat passes through the inner hole of the inner seat and then engages into the outer rim to complete assembly and locating; when the seat steps are engaged with the sleeve steps, the seat collar is not shielded by the outer seat collar.
Description
- The present invention relates to an improvement in a curtain ballchain wheel, and in particular to a curtain ballchain wheel, characterized by simple design, simple components and easy operation.
- Curtain is familiar object in our daily lives. The function of curtain is to shield light or allow light through by rolling or releasing curtain cloth. Consequently, it is necessary to improve the operation of curtain to facilitate the choice of shielding light or allowing light through.
- One of the mechanisms to roll up or release curtain is a curtain ballchain wheel, which employs the engagement of the ballchain and the ballchain wheel to achieve rolling up or releasing. The ballchain described above comprises a plurality of balls jointlessly connected in a circle.
- Conventional art of the ballchain wheel for curtain, ROC Patent No. 3795037 “Ball Chain Wheel for Curtain” for example, discloses a ballchain wheel comprising a ball shaft, a ballchain seat, a seat hole, and a securing block. Although the invention can achieve the basic functions of a curtain described above, the ballchain is made of a plurality of balls arranged in a circle and thus the ballchain has to encompass the ballchain seat upon assembling. Consequently, the structure has to be disintegrated and the ballchain is encompassed the ballchain seat before assembly can be carried out. Furthermore, there is rather large number of components and thus it fails to achieve the goal of convenience and the production cost is increased.
- With long time experience in designing, production, and marketing of curtain related products, the applicant proposes the present “Curtain Ball Chain Wheel” after numerous experiments and testings in order to overcome many drawbacks of conventional prior art.
- To further disclose the features of the present invention, please refer to the attached figures, wherein
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of the present invention;FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the present invention from another view angle;FIG. 3 is a sectional assembly view of the present invention; andFIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the ballchain encompassing the present invention. - The present invention can be more fully understood by reference to the following description and accompanying drawings, in which:
-
FIG. 1 schematically illustrates an exploded perspective view of the curtain ballchain wheel according to the present invention; -
FIG. 2 schematically illustrates an exploded perspective view of the curtain ballchain wheel according to the present invention from another view angle; -
FIG. 3 schematically illustrates a sectional assembly view of the curtain ballchain wheel according to the present invention; and -
FIG. 4 schematically illustrates a cross-sectional view of the ballchain encompassing the curtain ballchain wheel according to the present invention from another angle. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 4 , a curtain ballchain wheel according to present invention comprises anouter seat 1, aball seat 2, and aninner socket 3. - The
outer seat 1 provided anouter seat plate 11, anouter seat sleeve 12 extending perpendicularly from the center of theouter seat plate 11, and an outerseat core set 13 extending from theouter sleeve 12 concentrically. The outerseat core set 13 comprises two outer seat cores, between which is separated by acentral groove 132. Consequently, the external diameter formed by the twoouter seat cores 131 may be flexibly changed, i.e. the twoouter seat cores 131 may draw back under external force and return to a larger outer diameter when the force is released. Also, the front end of theouter seat core 131 expands slantingly and outwardly to form aseat step 133 with different heights and then a rod of constant diameter. Moreover, to constrain the ballchain, the rim of theouter seat plate 11 of theouter seat 1 extends integratedly and inwardly to form anouter seat collar 111. Theouter seat sleeve 12 is cut to form asleeve notch 121 and socketingly engaged with aspring 122, which is provided with aspring leg 123 on both ends. - In the middle of the
ball seat 2 is provided with aseat hole 21, whose diameter is larger than the outer diameter of theouter seat sleeve 12, such that theouter seat sleeve 12 may be socketingly engage with theseat hole 21. Theball seat 2 is further provided with aseat rim 22 perpendicularly extending to form aseat ring 23 and a plurality ofball seats 221 are provided in equal spacing on perimeter of theseat rim 22 to receive the balls of the ballchain, which is a conventional art and will not be discussed further. On the both ends of theseat ring 23 are provided withring rim 231 to stop thespring legs 123 described above. Moreover, to render theball seat 2 linked up with theinner socket 3 described later, theseat rim 22 is cut to form at least a throughslot 222. - The
inner socket 3 comprising aninner sleeve 31 and aninner ring 32 of larger outer diameter, through which aninner hole 33 passes. The outer perimeter of theinner sleeve 31 is provided with a plurality ofsleeve ribs 311, which are conventional art and thus will not be discussed further. The inner wall of theinner sleeve 31 is arranged with different diameters to formsleeve steps 312. Theinner ring 32 is provided with aplate hook 321 corresponding to theslot 222 described above for hooking together. - Referring to FGIS. 1 to 4, when the present invention is in practice, the
ball seat 2 is socketingly engaged into theouter seat sleeve 12 and theinner socket 3 is socketingly engaged into theseat ring 23 and theouter seat sleeve 12 by theinner hole 33. Also, the outer seat core set 13 passes through theinner sleeve 31 and is fastened onto the outer rim of theinner hole 33 of theinner sleeve 31 to complete assembly and theplate hook 321 is hooked onto theslot 222. - When the ballchain is to encompass the
inner socket 3, theouter seat core 131 is grasped to render theinner socket 3 and theball seat 2 coming off. Because theplate hook 321 is fastened onto and linked up with theslot 222, the ballchain A will be seated onto theseat rim 22 of theball seat 2 and the balls B will be located onto theball chamber 222 after thesleeve step 312 is fastened onto theseat step 133. Then, theouter seat core 131 is grasped and theinner socket 3 and theball seat 2 are pushed toward theouter seat 1 to slip into predetermined locations. When replacing or repairing the ballchain A, pulling toward the reverse direction will render the ballchain A coming off the prevent invention. - Consequently, by putting the prevent invention into practice, there are many advantages compared with the conventional prior art, including the number of component becomes less and no tool is required for assembly. Also, by fastening the
seat step 133 andsleeve 312, a middle location for installing the ballchain A is obtained. Furthermore, hooking and thus linking up theplate hook 321 and the 222 provides a simultaneous change of space corresponding to theouter seat 1. These advantages have constituted a major improvement for the curtain ballchain wheel. - While the invention has been described with reference to the a preferred embodiment thereof, it is to be understood that modifications or variations may be easily made without departing from the spirit of this invention, which is defined by the appended claims.
