Abstract
The present invention provides a build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly typically including a set of side boards and a set of frame struts made of fiberglass reinforced plastics both, and two racks connected them together in splicing joint; wherein said molded frame post has two adjacent joint vertical edges with a matching portion molded on each joint edge for coupling with side board; said side board is a individual sheet plate connecting with the two adjacent frame posts in composite joint with the both vertical sides; all the frame posts are secured on said racks with both ends respectively to construct a whole frame, each side board is mounted on the coordinated side of the frame to construct a whole barbecue grill. Due to substituting the built-up individual molded fiberglass reinforced plastics components for the conventional one whole grill body in the present invention, as packing and transporting, the goods can be processed compactly in individual piece package so as to save packing and transporting space, meanwhile to improve transportation efficiency; on the other hand, the different side board can be manufactured in different color, therefore, the build-up barbecue grill can be composed colorful and variant pattern.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a barbecue grill structure, and more particularly to a build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly.
- 2. Description of Prior Art
- In accordance with the special requirement of articles, some special materials are used for making of, such as fiberglass reinforced plastics in common so far, but due to the limit of material characteristic, this material usually is used for molding in one whole body, and owning of light weight and variant molded shape features, fiberglass reinforced plastics is used widely in manufacturing barbecue grill support or ovens.
- According to the conventional fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill, referring to
FIG. 1 , all the support and working surface are molded in one whole body in one time, although it is possessed of good integrality, but dull color and shape, and occupying bulk space affect to the sell and transport. - It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a build-up barbecue grill assembly made of fiberglass reinforced plastics that is colorful, variant shape and facilitating to transportation.
- For achieving the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a build-up barbecue grill assembly that is typically comprised of a set of side boards and a set of frame struts made of fiberglass reinforced plastics both, and two racks connected them together in splicing joint; wherein said molded frame post has two adjacent joint vertical edges with a matching portion molded on each joint edge for coupling with side board; said side board is a individual sheet plate connecting with the two adjacent frame posts in composite joint with the both vertical sides; all the frame posts are secured on said racks with both ends respectively to construct a whole frame, each side board is mounted on the coordinated side of the frame to construct a whole barbecue grill.
- Said frame post can be directly molded on the both vertical edges of the side board.
- Said build-up barbecue grill also includes an insulating wall mounted on the top side used for insulating the fiberglass reinforced plastics grill body from the gas oven.
- Said frame post has a reinforcing rib molded or attached on the inside, thereby securing on the racks with two pins built on the both ends of the reinforcing rib respectively via two coordinated through-holes at the pins of the reinforcing rib.
- Said pin also can be bolt taking the place of it securing on said racks respectively via nuts.
- Said frame post is molded into “L”-shaped having two matching grooves built on the both matching portions respectively at the free edges for the side board inserting in.
- Said groove is smaller than the thickness of the side board in width, in order to fit into the groove, said side board has two thinner convex edges.
- Said frame post has two convex edges built on the both matching portions separately; coordinating to the convex edges, said side board has two grooves built on the both side edges respectively for matching with the convex edges.
- A build-up barbecue grill assembly provided by the present invention is typically comprised of at least three side boards and a set of connecting pieces; wherein two side boards are mounted on the both sides used as right and left sides of the grill assembly, there are two notched slots formed on the opposite edges of the two side boards respectively at front side for embedded the third side board in and securing on with the connecting pieces.
- Said right and left side boards are connected and retained by at least one connecting strut.
- Said connecting piece is made of an L-iron.
- As utilizing above-mentioned project, due to substituting the built-up individual molded fiberglass reinforced plastics components for the conventional one whole grill body in the present invention, as packing and transporting, the goods can be processed compactly in individual piece package so as to save packing and transporting space, meanwhile to improve transportation efficiency; on the other hand, the different side board can be manufactured in different color, therefore, the build-up barbecue grill can be composed colorful and variant pattern.

FIG. 2 , a build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly discovered by the present invention is taken a rectangle grill body as example, which is typically includes several pieces ofside boards 1 made of fiberglass reinforced plastics and fourframe posts 2 made of fiberglass reinforced plastics, at least tworacks 3 and aninsulating wall 4. - Wherein, said
side board 1 is molded into an individual sheet piece with fiberglass reinforced plastics, and has two matching portions built on the right and left edges, therein said matching portion is molded into convex edge 11 (as shown inFIG. 3 a). - Said
frame post 2 is molded L-shaped post with fiberglass reinforced plastics, in which a reinforcedrib 21 is molded on the inside corner of the L-shaped post in one time, or attached on the inside corner by securing, and has two matching portions built on the adjacent connecting edges, said matching portion is molded into agroove 22 for the convex edge 11 engaging in (as shown inFIG. 3 b), within the width of thegroove 22 being equal or bigger than the thickness of theside board 1. Said individual reinforcedrib 21 or molded reinforcedrib 21 extends two pins out from the both ends respectively, in this case, by said pin is meant abolt 211 for securing on therack 3. - Said
rack 3 is a rigid metal frame, in this case two or more can be used, which is drilled through-holes 31 at proper positions for fitting in thebolt 211 of the reinforcedrib 21. - Said insulating
wall 4 is comprised of two sheet pieces made of heat-resistant material, and located on the upper portion for insulating the fiberglass reinforced plastics grill body from the gas oven. - Due to substituting the built-up individual molded fiberglass reinforced plastics components for the conventional one whole grill body in the present invention, as packing and transporting, the goods can be processed compactly in individual piece package so as to save packing and transporting space, meanwhile to improve transportation efficiency.
- Referring to
FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 , in combination process, first by securing eachframe post 2 on theracks 3 with nuts via the through-holes 31 and fitting throughbolts 211, a build-up frame is assembled, based-on constructed frame, then theside boards 1 are sequentially mounted on by matching the convex edges 11 into thefaced grooves 22 of theadjacent frame posts 2 so that the frame is enhanced without any swaying, certainly saidside board 1 used for blocking one side is one or more than one piece, and the different colored andshaped side board 1 can be used for constructed variant color and pattern barbecue grill support, next saidinsulating wall 4 is mounted on the top side to form a support for laying a roasting oven on, thereby insulating the fiberglass reinforced plastics grill body from the gas oven. - If the barbecue grill is placed against a wall, the back side can be not installed with the
side boards 1 saving material and reducing weight. If necessary of improving the integrality of the goods, a back side board can be mounted on theracks 3. - Referring to
FIG. 5 , the build-up barbecue grill assembly provided by the present invention can integrate the frame post into the side board molded on the both edges of the side board with matching portion on the rim of theframe post 2 in one time, therein said matching portion is groove 22 (or convex edge), in combination process, just need to insert thefront side board 1 into theopposite frame posts 2 integrated on theside boards 2, a barbecue grill assembly is constructed. - Referring to
FIG. 6 andFIG. 7 , the build-up barbecue grill assembly provided by the present invention is typically comprised of three side boards 5 6 7 (or four pieces, but three in this embodiment) and a set of L-iron 8 connecting together. Wherein two side boards 5 6 are mounted on the both opposite sides used as right and left sides of the grill assembly respectively, there are twonotched slots 51 61 formed on the opposite edges of the two side boards respectively at front side for embedded the third side board 7 in and securing on with the connectingpieces 8; for facilitating to engaging with saidnotched slots 51 61 smoothly, said third side board 7 has two notched slots 71 formed on the two sides respectively (not shown in drawing); on the other hand, at the back side, the right and left side boards 5 6 are connected by a strut 9 at least for improving the rigidness of the whole body, next saidinsulating wall 4 is mounted on the top side to form a support for laying a roasting oven on, thereby insulating the fiberglass reinforced plastics grill body from the gas oven. - In conclusion, the present invention integrates substitutes the built-up individual molded fiberglass reinforced plastics components for the conventional one whole grill body in the present invention, as packing and transporting, the goods can be processed compactly in individual piece package so as to save packing and transporting space, meanwhile to improve transportation efficiency.
Claims (12)
1. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly typically including a set of side boards and a set of frame struts made of fiberglass reinforced plastics both, and two racks connected them together in splicing joint; wherein said molded frame post has two adjacent joint vertical edges with a matching portion molded on each joint edge for coupling with side board; said side board is a individual sheet plate connecting with the two adjacent frame posts in composite joint with the both vertical sides; all the frame posts are secured on said racks with both ends respectively to construct a whole frame, each side board is mounted on the coordinated side of the frame to construct a whole barbecue grill.
2. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said frame post can be directly molded on the both vertical edges of the side board.
3. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 , wherein an insulating wall is mounted on the top side of the grill body for insulating the fiberglass reinforced plastics grill body from the gas oven.
4. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 , wherein said frame post has a reinforcing rib molded or attached on the inside, thereby securing on the racks with the pins built on the both ends of the reinforcing rib respectively via two coordinated through-holes at the pins of the reinforcing rib.
5. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 4 , wherein said pin also can be bolt taking the place of it securing on said racks respectively via nuts.

A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 , wherein said frame post is molded into “L”-shaped having two matching grooves built on the both matching portions respectively at the free edges for the side board inserting in, within the width of the groove being equal or bigger than the thickness of the side board.
7. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 , wherein said groove is smaller than the thickness of the side board in width, in order to fit into the groove, said side board has two thinner convex edges.
8. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 1 , claim 2 or claim 4 , wherein said frame post has two convex edges built on the both matching portions separately; coordinating to the convex edges, said side board has two grooves built on the both side edges respectively for matching with the convex edges.
9. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly typically comprised of at least three side boards and a set of connecting pieces; wherein two side boards are mounted on the both sides used as right and left sides of the grill assembly, there are two notched slots formed on the opposite edges of the two side boards respectively at front side for embedded the third side board in and securing on with the connecting pieces.
10. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 9 , wherein said right and left side boards are connected and retained by at least one connecting strut.
11. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 9 , wherein an insulating wall is mounted on the top side of the grill body for insulating the fiberglass reinforced plastics grill body from the gas oven.
12. A build-up fiberglass reinforced plastics barbecue grill assembly as claimed in claim 9 , wherein said connecting piece is made of an L-iron.
