Abstract

The present invention relates to a snowplow equipped with a shovel supporting devices of movable blade for clearing roads, and of which are provided of a reinforced part member having a shoe arranged thereof, and exceeding the movable blade of at least 1/16 at about 3 inches thick to allow at the time of the operations of snow clearance carried out by the snowplow to generate the fluid deflection of snow, to increase the longevity of the movable blades at the time of the frequent uses, and to prevent breakings at the time of the frequent passages in the holes.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • This invention relates to snowplows, and more particularly to a snowplow provided of movable blades equipped with a reinforced part member, and that, from its configuration it allows to offer a greater durability at the time of the frequent uses and to generate the fluid deflection of snow.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • The present invention is an improvement carried to an invention patented by the inventor.
  • The patent which the present invention refers is as follows:
  • CA 2,423,830 describing an articulated scraper blade system.
  • A search of prior art records has unveiled the following patents:
  • CA 940,298 Koontz, issued on Jan. 22, 1974.
  • CA 1,291,872 Watson, issued on Nov. 12, 1991.

  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • According to the present invention, there is described a snowplow equipped with a shovel supporting devices of movable blade for clearing roads, and of which are provided of a reinforced part member having a shoe arranged thereof, and exceeding the movable blade of at least 1/16 at about 3 inches thick to allow at the time of the operations of snow clearance carried out by the snowplow to generate the fluid deflection of snow, to increase the longevity of the movable blades at the time of the frequent uses, and to prevent breakings at the time of the frequent passages in the holes.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The invention will be described more in detail herein below relating to the enclosed drawings in which some embodiments are shown:
  • FIG. 1 is a view of this invention installed at the shovel of a snowplow.
  • FIGS. 2 a, 2 b show the present invention in operation.
  • FIG. 3 a is a rear view of a device of blade according to the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 b is a front view of a device of blade according to the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 a is a rear view of a device of blade according to the present invention shown in lowered position.
  • FIG. 4 b is a rear view of a device of blade according to the present invention shown in raised position.
  • FIG. 5 is an exploded view of the present invention,
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Now referring to the accompanying drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1, 2 a and 2 b, there is shown in phantom lines a snowplow equipped with a shovel on which is fixed devices of blade (A) using threaded bolts (10) and nuts (12). The movable blade (2) moves on a vertical axis by compression means in order to follow the irregularities of the road.
  • As illustrated in FIGS. 3 a, 3 b, 4 a and 4 b, there is shown a compression spring (6) retained on the movable blade (2) and engaged inside a cavity (13) of a support member (1), and secured by a bolt (7).
  • As illustrated in FIGS. 4 a, 4 b and 5, there is shown a movable blade (2) including slip gaps (11) which are intended to receive an eyelet (9) therein, and a bolt (10) therethrough each eyelet (9) and aperture (14) formed therein the support member (1), and secured to the shovel of the snowplow by nuts (12). The eyelets (9) allow the vertical movement of the movable blade (2).
  • The movable blade (2) includes a reinforced part member (3) having a shoe (4) arranged thereof, and exceeding the movable blades (2) of at least 1/16 at about 3 inches thick to allow at the time of the operations of snow clearance carried out by the snowplow to generate the fluid deflection of snow, to increase the longevity of the movable blades at the time of the frequent uses, and to prevent breakings at the time of the frequent passages in the holes.
  • More particularly to FIGS. 4 a and 4 b, there is shown a movable blade (2) in his raised and lowered position.
  • Accordingly, while the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made in the invention and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications which may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
