Abstract
The present invention provides an automatic telescope shower head set for kitchen sink, which is typically comprised of a main body, a shower head and a restoring spring; wherein said main body has a fitting set upon the top end for connecting to the outlet end of a delivery hose, and a tube set upon the center; said shower head has a shroud tube built upon the top end for containing into the inside of the tube of the main body, cooperating to the delivery hose, the fitting, the tube and the shower head, to construct the water flowing channel, there are a pair of opposite a reversion fin and a crowned collar built upon the inside wall of the tube and the outside wall of the shroud tube respectively so that the both ends of the restoring spring touch against the opposite faces of said inversion fin and said crowned collar, thereby the restoring force of the restoring spring pushing the shroud tube up bringing the shower head to restore the original position, there are sealing loops set upon the contacting surfaces of each pair of adjacent components. The structure makes the volume of the faucet reduce, and prevents the shower head from striking damage, and facilitates to using and storing.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a faucet for kitchen sink, and more particularly to an automatic telescope shower head hidden at inside of faucet of kitchen sink.
- 2. Description of Prior Art
- In accordance with the conventional technology, the most of the structure of the shower head located on the side of the kitchen sink is about showed in
FIG. 1 , in which theshower head 4′ is fixed on the tip end of thedelivery hose 2′ that pull through thefaucet 1′, and theshower head 4′ is exposed at outside in front of outlet of thefaucet 1′ located on the top side of the kitchen sink, saiddelivery hose 2′ is attached with abalance weight 3′ hung over at the segment under the working top. - In idle, said
shower head 4′ is drew under the weight force coming from thebalance weight 3′ back clamped at the outside of the outlet of thefaucet 1′; in using, just need to draw out theshower head 4′ so as to extend out from thefaucet 1′ for use; after using, just need to let it free, theshower head 4′ loosed extra force is pulled back in the original position under the pulling force coming from thebalance weight 3′. - For facilitating to drawing out, said
shower head 4′ is designed to remain a portion extended out from thefaucet 1′ in idle time, so that the volume of said faucet set becomes bigger than the expectation, meanwhile the exposed portion of theshower head 4′ is also damaged by striking. - Later, for solving the problem of said exposed
shower head 4′, a faucethidden shower head 4′ at inside came out, as shown inFIG. 2 , the structures of saidshower head 4′,delivery hose 2′ andbalance weight 3′ are not changed in design, wherein saidfaucet 1′ has a bell mouth with aslot 11″ for hiding theshower head 4″ at inside, by means of a crowningbutton 41″ set upon the side trunk of theshower head 4″ catching in saidslot 11″,shower head 4″ is located at the inside of the bell mouth of thefaucet 1″. - But, in each using time, drawing out said
shower head 4″ has to press down thebutton 41″ firstly so as to make it slide out from thecatching slot 11″ facilitating to drawing theshower head 4″ to any where at will, so the excess operation puts the user into inconvenience; and after each use time, the user has to push theshower head 4″ into the bell mouth of thefaucet 1″ with extra force so that thebutton 41″ is located in the end of the catchingslot 11″, therefore, the excess operations are boring to the user. - This is the sake of discovering the present invention.
- It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide an automatic telescope shower head set for kitchen sink facilitating to using and reserving with smaller volume, and avoiding striking damage.
- For achieving the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides an automatic telescope shower head set for kitchen sink typically comprised of a main body, a shower head and a restoring spring; wherein said main body has a fitting set upon the top end for connecting to the outlet end of a delivery hose, and a tube set upon the center; said shower head has a shroud tube built upon the top end for containing into the inside of the tube of the main body, cooperating to the delivery hose, the fitting, the tube and the shower head, to construct the water flowing channel, there are a pair of opposite a reversion fin and a crowned collar built upon the inside wall of the tube and the outside wall of the shroud tube respectively so that the both ends of the restoring spring touch against the opposite faces of said inversion fin and said crowned collar, thereby the restoring force of the restoring spring pushing the shroud tube up bringing the shower head to restore the original position, there are sealing loops set upon the contacting surfaces of each pair of adjacent components.
- Said fitting and said main body can be molded individually into tow parts, and can be secured into one component via thread-joint, in the same way, said shroud tube and the shower head can be also molded tow parts independently, and can be connected together by securing connection facilitating to assembling and disassembling.
- Said main body has a housing built on bottom downward for supplying a space containing the shower head moving down-up under the water pressure or the restoring spring working as sliding out or sliding back in original position.
- Said fitting extends a guiding tube axially downward located at the inside of the tube of the main body, coordinating it, said shroud tube has an axial ring groove built on the circle wall for fitting on said guiding tube of said fitting in up-down moving connection.
- As utilizing above-mentioned project, the present invention is at least comprised of said main body assembly and shower head assembly, by means of restoring spring set upon between them used for repositioning, so as combining the present invention into the faucet, when no water pressure exerting in, the shower head is pushed up at the home position by the restoring spring hiding into the faucet fully via the size control in design, so that the volume of the whole faucet is controlled into minimal level to prevent the shower head from striking damage, and facilitating to using and storing.

FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 , the preferred embodiment of the present invention is set upon the tip end of the faucet 8. An automatic telescope shower head set for kitchen sink discovered by the present invention is typically comprised of amain body 4, ashower head 5 and a restoringspring 3. - Wherein, said
main body 4 has afitting 1 built upon the top end, for facilitating to assembling and disassembling, said fitting 1 and saidmain body 4 can be molded individually into tow parts, and can be secured into one component via thread-joint. Said fitting 1 is used for connecting to the outlet end of adelivery hose 6. Saidmain body 4 has atube 41 formed at center. - Said
shower head 5 has ashroud tube 2 built on the top end, for facilitating to assembling and disassembling, saidshroud tube 2 and saidshower head 5 can be also molded tow parts independently, and can be connected together by securing connection. Saidshroud tube 2 is put into the inside of thetube 41 of themain body 4, and cooperating to the delivery hose, the fitting, the tube and the shower head, to construct the water flowing channel. There are a pair of opposite areversion fm 42 and a crownedcollar 21 built upon the inside wall of thetube 4 and the outside wall of theshroud tube 2 respectively. - Said restoring
spring 3 is put over the outside wall of theshroud tube 2, and located on thereversion fin 42 and the crownedcollar 21 with both ends, thereby the restoring force of the restoringspring 3 pushing theshroud tube 2 up bringing theshower head 5 to restore the original position. - There are
sealing loops 7 set upon the contacting surfaces of each pair of adjacent components. - For further improving the
shroud tube 2 to slide up-down smoothly in thetube 41, said fitting 1 extends a guidingtube 11 axially downward, which can be molded into one whole body with thefitting 1, or molded into one individual part securing on theindependent fitting 1 also (it is shown as later structure in this embodiment), said guidingtube 11 stretches into the inside of thetube 41 of themain body 4, coordinating it, saidshroud tube 2 has anaxial ring groove 22 built on the circle wall for fitting on said guidingtube 11 of said fitting 1 in up-down moving connection. - In this embodiment, said
main body 4 has ahousing 43 for supplying a space containing theshower head 5 moving down-up under the water pressure or the restoringspring 5 working as sliding out or sliding back in original position, thereby preventing theshower head 5 from damaging by striking of the faucet 8 as withdrawing back. - The combined faucet is in idle state, such as in natural state without any water pressure exerting on it, as shown in
FIG. 3 , as same as the conventional goods, under the balance force coming from the balance weight located on the delivery hose 6 (not shown in drawings), the present invention is hidden into the mouth of the faucet 8, by means of the restoringspring 3 pushing up theshower head 5 into the home position fully, by the size control in design, the volume of the whole faucet 8 is controlled into minimal level to prevent theshower head 5 from striking damage. - When cutting on water in using, as shown in
FIG. 4 , water flows through thedelivery hose 6, thefitting 1, theshroud tube 2 entering the inside of theshower head 5, due to the water pressure exerting on theshower head 5, a pushing force coming from water presses theshower head 5 to move down overcoming the restoring force of the restoringspring 3, so as to extend out from the faucet 8 facilitating to draw out for use, and especially to the multipurpose shower head, this design is convenience of switching function operation. - When finishing use by cutting out water, the water pressure is eliminated, the
shower head 5 is pushed up by the restoring force coming from the restoringspring 3 until to get into original position, as shown inFIG. 3 , facilitating to storing. - The present invention is at least comprised of said main body assembly and shower head assembly connected together in socket joint, by means of restoring
spring 3 set upon the joint portions of them used for repositioning, so as combining the present invention into the faucet 8, such as themain body 4 connecting to thedelivery hose 6, cooperating to the water pressure, theshower head 5 is pushed out or pushed up at the home position by the restoring spring hiding into the faucet 8 fully via the size control in design, so that the volume of the whole faucet 8 is controlled into minimal level to prevent theshower head 5 from striking damage, and facilitating to using and storing. Concerning to the detail assembling ways of themain body 4 and theshower head 5, they are not limited by the embodiment described above.
Claims (4)
1. An automatic telescope shower head set for kitchen sink typically comprised of a main body, a shower head and a restoring spring; wherein said main body has a fitting set upon the top end for connecting to the outlet end of a delivery hose, and a tube set upon the center; said shower head has a shroud tube built upon the top end for containing into the inside of the tube of the main body, cooperating to the delivery hose, the fitting, the tube and the shower head, to construct the water flowing channel, there are a pair of opposite a reversion fin and a crowned collar built upon the inside wall of the tube and the outside wall of the shroud tube respectively so that the both ends of the restoring spring touch against the opposite faces of said inversion fin and said crowned collar, thereby the restoring force of the restoring spring pushing the shroud tube up bringing the shower head to restore the original position, there are sealing loops set upon the contacting surfaces of each pair of adjacent components.

An automatic telescope shower head set for kitchen sink as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said fitting and said main body can be molded individually into tow parts, and can be secured into one component via thread-joint, in the same way, said shroud tube and the shower head can be also molded tow parts independently, and can be connected together by securing connection.

An automatic telescope shower head set for kitchen sink as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said main body has a housing built on the bottom downward for supplying a space containing the shower head moving down-up under the water pressure or the restoring spring working as sliding out or sliding back in original position.
4. An automatic telescope shower head set for kitchen sink as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said fitting extends a guiding tube axially downward located at the inside of the tube of the main body, coordinating it, said shroud tube has an axial ring groove built on the circle wall for fitting on said guiding tube of said fitting in up-down moving connection.
