Abstract
A garbage bag dispenser includes a plurality of interconnected garbage bags and a container for receiving the interconnected garbage bags. The interconnected garbage bags are coiled to a roll. A tear line is formed between a pair of the interconnected garbage bags adjacent to each other for allowing separation of the pair of the interconnected garbage bags. The container includes an access through which a front end of an outermost one of the roll of interconnected garbage bags extends out of the container. The garbage bags can be retrieved one by one.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a garbage bag dispenser and, more particularly, to a garbage bag dispenser for interconnected garbage bags.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- Garbage bags are widely used in our daily lives. From kitchens to toilets, from living rooms to rooms, waste containers with garbage bags are used for collecting wastes.
- For easy storage and use, garbage bags are generally connected in series and coiled or wound around a reel to form a roll. The outermost garbage bag can be torn off from the roll for use. In this way, the garbage bags can be retrieved one by one. Nevertheless, the remaining garbage bags must be placed properly to avoid extending of the outermost garbage bag. Further, the roll of garbage bags is usually stored in a drawer to avoid adverse effect to indoor decoration, leading to inconvenient usage. Further, tearing the outermost garbage bag from the roll may cause undesired separation of additional garbage bags.
- An objective of the present invention is to provide a garbage bag dispenser including interconnected garbage bags to allow easy retrieval of the outermost one of the garbage bags while providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance and allowing easy storage. Further, the interconnected garbage bags can be retrieved in a continuous manner.
- A garbage bag dispenser in accordance with the present invention comprises a plurality of interconnected garbage bags and a container for receiving the interconnected garbage bags.
- Preferably, the interconnected garbage bags are made of thermoplastic plastics. Each garbage bag includes two opposed flat sides and a sealed rear end opposite to the front end having an opening, defining a receiving space.
- Preferably, the container is a parallelepiped and includes a top side in which the access is defined.
- Preferably, the access has a width slightly smaller than that of each garbage bag.
- Preferably, the container includes a side that is openable to allow the interconnected garbage bags to be placed into or removed from the container.
- Other objectives, advantages, and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a garbage bag dispenser in accordance with the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the garbage bag dispenser in accordance with the present invention. -
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the garbage bag dispenser in accordance with the present invention. -
FIG. 4 is a perspective view similar toFIG. 3 , illustrating retrieval of the outermost garbage bag. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , a garbage bag dispenser in accordance with the present invention comprises a plurality of interconnectedgarbage bags 1 and acontainer 2 or the like for receiving the interconnectedgarbage bags 1. - The
garbage bags 1 are preferably made of plastics such as thermoplastic plastics. Thegarbage bags 1 are coiled to form aroll 10. Atear line 11 is formed between twogarbage bags 1 adjacent to each other. After tearing along thetear line 11 to remove theoutermost garbage bag 1, anopening 14 is formed in thenext garbage bag 1. Eachgarbage bag 1 includes two opposedflat sides 12 and a sealedrear end 13 opposite tofront end 15 having the opening 14. A receiving space for receiving wastes or articles is thus defined. Preferably, the sealedrear end 13 is spaced from thetear line 11 by a small distance to avoided waste of material. - The
container 2 includes anaccess 21 in a side thereof. In this example, thecontainer 2 is a parallelepiped and includes anelliptic access 21 in atop side 22 thereof. Two ends of theaccess 21 are respectively spaced from two ends of thetop side 22 by appropriate distances. Thecontainer 2 further includes aside 23 that can be opened to allow theroll 10 of interconnectedgarbage bags 1 to be placed into or removed from thecontainer 2. Thecontainer 2 has a length slightly greater than a width of theroll 10 of interconnectedgarbage bags 1 for snugly receiving theroll 10 of interconnectedgarbage bags 1. - Referring to
FIG. 3 , after theroll 10 of interconnectedgarbage bags 1 is placed into thecontainer 2, thefront end 15 of theoutermost garbage bag 1 that has anopening 14 is moved out of thecontainer 2 to an appropriate height via theaccess 21. Preferably, theaccess 21 of thecontainer 2 has a width slightly smaller than that of eachgarbage bag 1 for retaining theoutermost garbage bag 1. - Referring to
FIG. 4 , in use, theoutermost garbage bag 1 is moved outward and carries thefront end 15 of thenext garbage bag 1 to move through theaccess 21, and theoutermost garbage bag 1 is torn off along thetear line 11. In this way, thegarbage bags 1 can be retrieved one by one. - Since the
garbage bags 1 are received in thecontainer 2 in a roll, continuous retrieval of thegarbage bag 1 is easy without the risk of tearingseveral garbage bags 1 at a time. Further, thecontainer 2 may include decorative patterns or drawings on outer sides thereof, providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Thus, thecontainer 2 containinggarbage bags 1 can be placed in an obvious place without adversely affecting the original indoor decoration. Namely, inconvenient storage of thecontainer 2 containinggarbage bags 1 is not necessary. - Although a specific embodiment has been illustrated and described, numerous modifications and variations are still possible without departing from the essence of the invention. The scope of the invention is limited by the accompanying claims.
