Description
- The present invention relates to a closure of a vessel, and more particularly to a closure of a vessel, in which the closure of the vessel is sanitarily clean and is convenient for use because touching a discharging passage discharging contents stored in the vessel by hand is unnecessary, and sealing the entrance of the vessel is unnecessary.
-
FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing the closure of the vessel in accordance with the conventional art. - The closure of the vessel having conventional opening structure, is comprised of a
main body 3 detachably coupled with an entrance of thevessel 1 which is sealed by a sealingmember 2, anelevation member 4 installed in an outer upper portion of themain body 3, which is linearly moved up and down, and acover 5 for covering the upper portion of themain body 3. - When a user drinks beverage stored in the vessel, the
main body 3 of the conventional closure of the vessel having the above described structure, is separated from thebeverage vessel 1, and then the sealingmember 2 sealing the entrance of thevessel 1 is removed. And when theelevation member 4 is gripped and pulled upward by hand after themain body 3 is again coupled with the entrance of thevessel 1, and thecover 5 is opened, theupper surface 4′ of theelevation member 4 is separated from thehead portion 3′ of the main body of the closure, and the entrance of thebeverage vessel 1 is opened, so that a user may drink the beverage by tilting and discharging thebeverage vessel 1. - When drinking the beverage is unnecessary, a user presses the
elevation member 4 by hand, and make the elevation returned to the original position and the entrance of thevessel 1 sealed. - But the conventional closure of the vessel as described in the above, has the problem that it is inconvenient for use because the sealing
member 2 which is fixed to the entrance of the vessel and seals the entrance of the vessel, is removed by hand, or by using additional apparatus such as a knife, etc. after themain body 3 is separated from thevessel 1, in order to open the vessel. - In particular, there is a trouble that a user should remove the sealing
member 2 again, and the conventional closure of the vessel has the sanitary problem since it is difficult to remove the sealingmember 2 from the rim because the sealingmember 2 is adhered to the rim of the entrance of the vessel when the sealingmember 2 is removed by hands. - The conventional closure of the vessel also has the problem that the closure of the vessel is not sanitarily clean because a discharging portion discharging beverage may be soiled since a user should open the entrance of the vessel by pulling the
elevation member 4 upward by hand in order to drink the beverage, and the user should make theelevation member 4 moved to the original position again by pushing theelevation member 4 by hand after drinking beverage. - Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a closure of a vessel which is capable of removing inconvenience of removing the sealing member from the entrance of the vessel since a sealing member installed in the closure of the vessel does not need to be sealed.
- It is another object of the present invention to provide a closure of a vessel which is capable of removing inconvenience of the conventional closure of the vessel in which an elevation member of the conventional closure needs to be pulled by hand for discharging contents stored in the vessel, because the elevation member of the closure of the present invention is opened when the cover is rotated and opened, and is sanitarily clean because gripping the elevation member of the closure of the present invention by hand is unnecessary.
- It is the other object of the present invention to provide a closure of a vessel having a convenience of drinking contents by forming a passage between the elevation member and the main body and making external air flow into the vessel through the passage when a user holds the closure in the mouth and drinks contents stored in the vessel.
- To achieve these objects, there is provided a closure of a vessel which includes a main body coupled to an entrance of the vessel, an elevation member formed with a discharging passage discharging contents stored in the vessel, the elevation member being inserted into the main body, moved up and down in the main body, and sealing or opening the entrance of the vessel, and a cover detachably coupled with the main body, the cover moving the elevation member up or down by being rotated in a positive direction or a negative direction.
- The main body is comprised of a coupling unit detachably coupled to the entrance of the vessel, and an elevation member guide unit formed in an upper portion of the coupling unit, and inserted with the elevation member, in which the elevation member is moved up or down.

- The sealing member is a disc opened in a center portion thereof, and closely contacted with the entrance of the vessel in an outer portion of the disc and with the elevation member in an inner portion of the disc.
- The elevation member inserted in the elevation member guide unit, in which the elevation member is moved up or down, is formed with an discharging passage in a longitudinal direction thereof, through which the contents is discharged, and with an opening and closing plate for sealing the entrance of the vessel, the plate being closely contacted with the inner portion of the sealing member in the lower surface of the elevation member.
- A separation prevention protrusion is formed in an inner surface of the elevation member guide unit of the main body, and a hooking protrusion hooked with the separation prevention protrusion, is formed in an outer surface of the elevation member, thereby preventing the elevation member from being separated from the main body.
- A rotation prevention unit for preventing the elevation member from being rotated, is formed between the outer surface of the elevation member and the inner surface of the elevation member guide unit of the main body, and the rotation prevention unit is comprised of hooking ribs formed in an outer surface of the passage unit, the hooking ribs protruding from the outer surface of the passage unit in a regular interval in a circumferential direction of the passage unit, and hooking grooves formed in the inner surface of the elevation member guide unit in a regular interval in a circumferential direction of the elevation member guide unit, the hooking grooves being respectively inserted with the respective hooking ribs.
- A plurality of protrusions are formed at an outer surface of the cover, so that the cover may be easily gripped and rotated by user s hand, and a hooking protrusion is formed in an inner surface of a lower portion of the cover, the hooking protrusion being hooked with a hooking rib formed in an outer surface of the elevation member guide unit.
- An operation unit for moving the elevation member up or down in accordance with the rotation of the cover in a positive direction or a negative direction, is formed between the cover and the elevation member, and the operation unit is comprised of a female screw unit formed in an inner surface of a upper portion of the elevation member, a supporting unit inserted in an inside of the elevation member, the supporting unit protruding from the upper portion of the inner surface of the cover to the lower portion of the cover, in a cylindrical shape, and a male screw unit formed in an outer surface of the supporting unit, and coupled with the female screw unit.
- There is also provided a closure of a vessel which includes a main body including a coupling unit detachably coupled to the entrance of the vessel, and an elevation member guide unit formed in an upper portion of the coupling unit; and an elevation member formed with a discharging passage discharging contents stored in the vessel, the elevation member being inserted into the elevation member guide unit, moved up or down in the main body, and sealing or opening the entrance of the vessel.
- The closure of the vessel may be further comprised of a cover detachably coupled with the main body, the cover moving the elevation member up or down by being rotated in a positive direction or a negative direction. FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing the closure of the vessel in accordance with the conventional art,FIG. 2 is a prospective view showing the closure of the vessel in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention,FIG. 3 is a prospective view showing the closure of the vessel the cover of which is removed inFIG. 2 ,FIG. 4 is a prospective view showing the closure of the vessel inFIG. 2 further formed with a reinforcing rib in the main body,FIG. 5 is a disassembled prospective view showing the closure of the vessel inFIG. 2 ,FIG. 6 is a sectional view showing the closure of the vessel inFIG. 2 ,FIG. 7 is a sectional view showing the closure of the vessel in A-A line inFIG. 6 , andFIGS. 8 and 9 are a cross sectional view and a longitudinal view showing the closure of the vessel inFIG. 2 further formed with a reinforcing rib in the inside thereof. - The closure of the vessel in accordance with the present invention, is comprised of a
main body 16 coupled to anentrance 12 of thevessel 10 which discharges contents stored in thevessel 10, anelevation member 18 forming a discharging passage discharging contents stored in thevessel 10, theelevation member 18 being inserted into themain body 16, moved up or down in themain body 16, and sealing or opening theentrance 12 of thevessel 10, and acover 20 detachably coupled with the upper portion of themain body 16, thecover 20 moving theelevation member 18 up or down by being rotated in a positive direction or a negative direction and protecting a entrance portion of theelevation member 18, the entrance portion discharging the contents. - The
main body 16 is comprised of acoupling unit 24 detachably coupled to theentrance 12 of thevessel 10 and formed in a cylindrical shape, and an elevationmember guide unit 26 extended upwards from thecoupling unit 24, and inserted with theelevation member 18, in which theelevation member 18 is moved up or down, the elevationmember guide unit 26 having a diameter less than that of thecoupling unit 24. - A plurality of
protrusions 22 are formed at an outer surface of thecoupling unit 24 in a predetermined interval, so that thecoupling unit 24 may be easily gripped and rotated by user s hand, and afemale screw unit 28 is formed in an inner surface of thecoupling unit 24 coupled with amale screw unit 30 formed in the outer surface of theentrance 12 of thevessel 10. - Any connection method for detachably connecting the closure of the vessel with the
entrance 12 of thevessel 10 between the closure of the vessel and theentrance 12 of thevessel 10 may be selected besides a connection of thefemale screw unit 28 and themale screw unit 30. - Meanwhile, there is a problem that the movement of the
elevation member 18 may be interfered with because theelevation member 18 is pressed by the elevationmember guide unit 26 of themain body 16 due to the bending moment applied by the connection between themain body 16 and thevessel 10. Therefore, at least one reinforcingrib 23 may be further formed in an outer surface of themain body 16 in a longitudinal direction, as shown inFIG. 4 , in order to lessen the bending moment applied by the connection between themain body 16 and thevessel 10. - In addition, the reinforcing rib 13 may be formed in the
main body 16, together with at least one reinforcingrib 23 a having a center concentric to that of the elevationmember guide unit 26. - A sealing
member 32 is mounted on an upper portion of thecoupling unit 24 in a circumferential direction, and closely contacted with an upper surface of theentrance 12 of thevessel 10. The sealingmember 32 is a disc opened in a center portion thereof, and closely contacted with the upper surface of theentrance 12 of thevessel 10 when thecoupling unit 24 of themain body 16 is coupled with theentrance 12 of thevessel 10, and thereby the contents stored in thevessel 10 is sealed. - As described in the above, the present invention may remove the inconvenience that the sealing member should be removed from the
entrance 12 of thevessel 10, because the sealingmember 32 is positioned in the inside of the closure of the vessel and additional sealing member for sealing theentrance 12 is unnecessary. - Herein, the sealing
member 32 is closely contacted with theentrance 12 of thevessel 10 in the outer portion thereof and closely contacted with theelevation member 18 in the inner portion thereof, and thereby seals thevessel 10. - The elevation
member guide unit 26 having a diameter less than that of thecoupling unit 24, is extended upwards from thecoupling unit 24, and aguide hole 34 for being inserted with theelevation member 18, is penetrated through and formed in the elevationmember guide unit 26. - A
separation prevention protrusion 36 is formed in the inner surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26 in a circumferential direction, and ahooking rib 40 hooked with thecover 20, is formed in an outer surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26 in a circumferential direction. - The
elevation member 18 is inserted in the elevationmember guide unit 26 of themain body 16, in which theelevation member 18 is moved up or down, and is formed with an dischargingpassage 42 in a longitudinal direction thereof, through which the contents is discharged, and with an opening and closingplate 44 having a disc shape in an enlarged diameter, the lower surface of theplate 44 being closely contacted with the inner portion of the sealingmember 32, for performing sealing. Herein, aninflow opening 46 through which the contents stored in thevessel 10 flows into the dischargingpassage 42, is formed in the lower portion of theelevation member 18 in a circumferential direction when theelevation member 18 is moved down. - A
protrusion unit 48 may be formed in the upper end of theelevation member 18 in a circumferential direction so that the user may easily bite the outer surface of theelevation member 18 with teeth or lips, and a hookingprotrusion 38 hooked with aseparation prevention protrusion 36 formed in the inner surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26, is formed in a central outer surface of theelevation member 18. - Herein, the hooking between the hooking
protrusion 38 and theseparation prevention protrusion 36 prevents theelevation member 18 from separating from themain body 16 downward, and limits the moving distance of theelevation member 18. - A
gap 60 through which air may pass, is formed between theelevation member 18 and the elevationmember guide unit 26, the contents may be easily discharged without gurgling because external air flows into thevessel 10 through thegap 60 when the contents stored in thevessel 10 is discharged out through the dischargingpassage 42 of theelevation member 18. - Meanwhile, reinforcing
rib 55 for structurally reinforcing a portion of theinflow opening 46 may be formed in one body in an inner surface of theelevation member 18 as shown inFIGS. 8 and 9 . The reinforcingrib 55 may be formed in predetermined height from the lower end of theelevation member 18, particularly higher than theinflow opening 46, and the reinforcingrib 55 may have various shapes such as ‘−’ shape, ‘+’ shape, etc. - A
rotation prevention unit 50 for preventing theelevation member 18 from being rotated, is formed between the outer surface of theelevation member 18 and the inner surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26 of themain body 16. - The
rotation prevention unit 50, as shown inFIG. 7 , is comprised of at least one hookingprotrusion 54 formed in the outer surface of theelevation member 18, the hooking rib protruding from the outer surface of theelevation member 18 in a regular interval in a circumferential direction of theelevation member 18, and at least one hookinggroove 52 formed in the inner surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26 in a regular interval in a circumferential direction, each hookinggroove 52 being inserted with each hookingrib 54. In other words, since the hookingprotrusion 54 is inserted into the hookinggroove 52 when theelevation member 18 is inserted into the elevationmember guide unit 26 of themain body 16, the movement of theelevation member 18 in upward and downward directions is possible but, the rotation of theelevation member 18 is prevented. In case that the sectional shape of theelevation member 18 is polygonal such as rectangular, etc., the shape of theelevation member 18, itself may be therotation prevention unit 50. Herein, the inner surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26 corresponding to theelevation member 18, has a shape corresponding to the sectional shape of theelevation member 18. - The
cover 20 coupled with the outer surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26 of themain body 16, performs a role for protecting the dischargingpassage 42 of theelevation member 18 discharging the contents, a plurality of protrusions are formed in the outer surface of thecover 20, so that a user may easily grip and rotate thecover 20 by hand, and a hookingprotrusion 64 is formed in the inner surface of the lower portion of thecover 20, the hookingprotrusion 64 being hooked with a hookingrib 40 formed in an outer surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26. - Herein, the hooking
protrusion 64 of the cover has the structure that the hookingprotrusion 64 is separated from the hookingrib 40 which is formed in the outer surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26 when predetermined upward force is applied to the hookingprotrusion 64 in the hooking state that the hookingprotrusion 64 is hooked with the hookingrib 40. - And a
skirt unit 66 for fixing thecover 20 to the outer surface of themain body 16, is formed in a lower end of thecover 20 connected with thecover 20 by a plurality of connectingmembers 66 a which is easily separated from thecover 20, and is separated from thecover 20 when thecover 20 is rotated by greater than predetermined rotation force, and then thecover 20 is separated from themain body 16. - An
operation unit 70 for moving theelevation member 18 up or down in accordance with the rotation of thecover 20 in a positive direction or a negative direction, is formed between thecover 20 and theelevation member 18. - The
operation unit 70 is comprised of afemale screw unit 72 formed in the inner surface of the upper portion of theelevation member 18, a supportingunit 76 inserted in an inside of theelevation member 18, the supportingunit 76 protruding from the inner surface of thecover 20 from the upper inside portion of thecover 20 to the lower portion of thecover 20, in a cylindrical shape, and amale screw unit 74 formed in an outer surface of the supportingunit 76, and coupled with thefemale screw unit 72. - The operation of this
operation unit 70 is that since theelevation member 18 is supported and prevented from being rotated at the inner surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26 of themain body 16 by therotation prevention unit 50, the hookingprotrusion 64 of thecover 20 is hooked with the hookingrib 40 formed in the outer surface of themain body 16, and thefemale screw unit 72 of theelevation member 18 and themale screw unit 74 of thecover 70 is screw-connected with each other; thecover 20 performs idle rotation at the outer surface of themain body 16 when the cover is rotated, and the idle rotation of thecover 20 makes thefemale screw unit 72 of theelevation member 18 moved upward or downward along themale screw unit 74 of thecover unit 20. - Meanwhile, although not shown in the drawings, the
operation unit 70 may be comprised of a male screw unit formed in the upper portion of the outer surface of theelevation member 18, and a female screw unit formed in the inner surface of thecover 20 screw-coupled with the corresponding male screw unit. - Operation of the closure of the vessel according to the present invention will be explained as follows.
- FIGS. 10 to 13 are state views showing operation of the closure of the vessel in accordance with the first embodiment of the present invention.
- In case that the closure of the vessel closes the
entrance 12 of the vessel, the sealingmember 32 is closely contacted with the upper surface of theentrance 12 of thevessel 10 in the outer portion thereof, and the sealingmember 32 is closely contacted with the opening and closingplate 44 of theelevation member 32 in the inner portion thereof, and thereby seals thevessel 10. Therefore thevessel 10 storing the contents, is maintained in a sealed state. - From the above described state, firstly the
cover 20 is rotated in a positive direction, when a user makes the contents stored in the vessel discharged out. Then, theskirt unit 66 is separated, and thecover 20 is rotated at the state of being separated from themain body 16. Herein, thecover 20 performs idle rotation because the hookingprotrusion 64 is hooked with the hookingrib 40 formed in the outer surface of themain body 16. - In this manner, when the
cover 20 is rotated, the opening and closingplate 44 is separated from the sealingmember 32 according to the descent of theelevation member 18 by theoperation unit 70 formed between thecover 20 and theelevation member 18, and thereby thevessel 10 is opened. In other words, since theelevation member 18 the hookingprotrusion 54 of which is inserted into the hookinggroove 52 formed in the elevationmember guide unit 26 of themain body 16, is prevented from being rotated, thefemale screw unit 72 formed in theelevation member 18 is unfastened with themale screw unit 74 of thecover 20 when thecover 20 is rotated, and then theelevation member 18 is moved downward. - In this manner, the
elevation member 18 continues descending, stops descending when the hookingprotrusion 38 formed in the inner surface of theelevation member 18, is contacted with theseparation prevention protrusion 36 formed in the inner surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26, and then force which makes thecover 20 moved relatively upward, is applied when thecover 20 is further rotated, and thereby the hookingprotrusion 64 of thecover 20 is separated from the hookingrib 40 formed in themain body 16. Then, the contents stored in thevessel 10 is flowed into the dischargingpassage 42 through theinflow opening 46 of theelevation member 18, and is discharged out through the dischargingpassage 42, when thevessel 10 is tilted after thecover 20 is removed from themain body 16. - Herein, a user may easily bite and suck the
elevation member 18 because the end portion of theelevation member 18 is formed with aprotrusion 48. And the contents may be more easily discharged out through thedischarge passage 42 because external air is flowed into the inside of thevessel 10 through thegap 60 between theelevation member 18 and the elevationmember guide unit 26 when the contents is discharged out through the dischargingpassage 42. - In case that a user wishes to seal the
vessel 10 again after discharging a predetermined amount of the contents out, themale screw unit 74 of thecover 20 is fastened with thefemale screw unit 72 of theelevation member 18 by the rotation of thecover 20 in the opposite direction, and theelevation member 46 is ascended, after thecover 20 is covered to themain body 16. Then, the opening and sealingplate 44 is closely contacted with the sealingmember 32, and thevessel 10 is sealed. And if thecover 20 continues being further rotated, theelevation member 18 may not be further ascended and thecover 20 is relatively descended because the opening and closingplate 44 is closely contacted with the sealingmember 32. In other words, since theelevation member 18 may not be further ascended, if thefemale screw unit 72 of theelevation member 18 is fastened to themale screw unit 74, thecover 20 is descended and the hookingprotrusion 64 passes over and is hooked with the hookingrib 40 of themain body 16. - FIGS. 14 to 17 are state views showing operation of the closure of the vessel in accordance with the second embodiment of the present invention, and
FIG. 18 is a sectional view showing the closure of the vessel in B-B line inFIG. 14 . - Meanwhile, if a user wishes to discharge the contents stored in the vessel out, the closure of the vessel according to the present invention needs to be maintained in descended state of the
elevation member 18, and otherwise in ascended state of theelevation member 18 so that the contents stored in the vessel may not be leaked out. - Therefore, the elevation
member guide unit 26 of the closure of the vessel in the first embodiment, in accordance with the second embodiment of the present invention, is further formed with a hooking maintainingprotrusion 37 for maintaining the hooking state between the elevationmember guide unit 26 and the hookingprotrusion 38 formed in theelevation member 18. When theelevation member 18 is reached to the highest portion, the hooking maintainingprotrusion 37 is hooked with the hookingprotrusion 38, and the sealingmember 32 is closely contacted with theentrance 12 of thevessel 10 in the outer portion of the sealingmember 32, and with theelevation member 18 in the inner portion of the sealingmember 32, and thereby thevessel 10 is sealed. The hooking state between the hookingprotrusion 38 and the hooking maintainingprotrusion 37, may be dissolved when a user applied more than a predetermined force. - Meanwhile, a descended state of the
elevation member 18 by movement of the hookingprotrusion 38 downward from theseparation prevention protrusion 36, needs to be maintained, and theelevation member 18 needs to be prevented from being further descended. Therefore, a second hookingprotrusion 39 may be further formed in theelevation member 18 above the hookingprotrusion 28. - The second hooking
protrusion 39 is formed in the outer surface of theelevation member 18, in order to prevent the hookingprotrusion 28 from being further descended after the hookingprotrusion 28 passes over theseparation prevention protrusion 36 and is moved below theseparation prevention protrusion 36, and theelevation member 18 from being descended by maintaining hooking state with the hooking maintainingprotrusion 37 when the hookingprotrusion 28 passes over theseparation prevention protrusion 36. - Meanwhile, there is a problem that the movement of the
elevation member 18 may be interfered with because theelevation member 18 is pressed by the elevationmember guide unit 26 of themain body 16 due to the bending moment applied by the connection between themain body 16 and thevessel 10. - Therefore, at least one of the hooking
protrusion 38 and the second hookingprotrusion 39, may be made of flexible material, or as shown inFIG. 18 , may be comprised of a plurality ofprotrusions 39 a protruded outward from the outer surface of theelevation member 18. By the construction of the plurality ofprotrusions 39 a of the hookingprotrusion 38 and the second hookingprotrusion 39, theelevation member 18 may be more easily moved up and down although theelevation member 18 is pressed by the elevationmember guide unit 26 of themain body 16 due to the bending moment applied by the connection between themain body 16 and thevessel 10. - Meanwhile, the
separation prevention protrusion 36 and the hooking maintainingprotrusion 37 may be also comprised of a plurality of protrusions protruding inwards from the inner surface of the elevationmember guide unit 26. - The closure of the vessel having the above described structure in accordance with the second embodiment of the present invention, may operate in a similar manner with the closure of the vessel in accordance with the first embodiment. But when the
elevation member 18 finishes being descended, the hookingprotrusion 38 is maintained to be hooked with theseparation prevention protrusion 36 after passing theseparation prevention protrusion 36, and at the same time, the second hookingprotrusion 39 is maintained to be hooked with the hookingprotrusion 37. Thereby, theelevation member 18 is maintained to be fixed, and the contents stored in thevessel 10 is flowed into the dischargingpassage 42 through theinflow opening 46 of theelevation member 18, and is discharged out through the dischargingpassage 42, when thevessel 10 is tilted. - Meanwhile, in case that the
cover 20 is removed, theelevation member 18 may be also pulled or pushed by user's hand or mouth, and thevessel 10 may be sealed or opened. - In particular, the hooking
protrusion 28 limits the movement of theelevation member 18 by passing over the hooking maintainingprotrusion 37 and being maintained in the hooking state with the hooking maintainingprotrusion 37, when theelevation member 18 is pulled to the highest position. Therefore, the vessel is maintained to be sealed by fixing theelevation member 18 although thecover 20 is removed.
