Abstract

A negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine includes a machine box formed with an interior space, an operation faceplate assembled on the machine box and bored with numerous wind-sucking vents, a fixing base disposed in the interior space of the machine box, a dust collecting unit fitted with the fixing base and provided with dust collecting bags, and a blower positioned in the interior space of the machine box. When the blower is started to operate, the air in the interior of the machine box is pumped out of the machine box, letting the interior of the machine box produce negative pressure. Simultaneously, through the dust collecting bags and the fixing base, each wind-sucking vent of the operation faceplate will produce a vacuum suction force to suck the dust produced during processing into the dust collecting bags to be gathered.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • This invention relates to a negative pressure tabletop dust-collecting machine, particularly to one taking less space and convenient to be moved around.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • A conventional tabletop dust-collecting machine includes a support frame having its topside assembled with a machine table provided thereon with a work faceplate with wind-sucking vents. The machine table is connected with a wind-sucking pipe connected with a dust-collecting unit, which is composed of a blower connected with the wind-sucking pipe, a wind cover connected with the blower, a dust-collecting bag assembled with the wind cover and a bottom base for assembling the blower and wind cover thereon. When the blower is started to operate, each wind-sucking vent of the work faceplate will produce a vacuum suction force through the wind-sucking pipe and the machine table for sucking in the dust produced during processing and collecting the dust in the dust-collecting bag.
  • However, the dust-collecting unit of the conventional tabletop dust-collecting machine is exposed outside, large in volume and taking much space. In addition, wind-sucking pipes have to be additionally disposed between the blower and the machine table as well as the wind cover, and the bottom base has to be provided for assembling the blower and the wind cover thereon, thus complicating the structure, increasing producing cost and inconvenient to be moved around.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The objective of the invention is to offer a negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine, which includes a machine box with an interior space, an operation faceplate assembled on the topside of the machine box and bored with numerous wind-sucking vents, a fixing base positioned in the interior space of the machine box, a dust-collecting unit assembled on the fixing base and provided with dust-collecting bags, and a blower installed in the interior space of the machine box. When the blower is started to operate, the air in the interior of the machine box can be pumped out of the machine box, letting the interior of the machine box produce negative pressure and each wind-sucking vent of the operation faceplate produce a vacuum suction force through the dust-collecting bag and the fixing base for sucking in the dust produced during processing and collecting it in the dust-collecting bag. In this invention, the blower and the dust-collecting unit are installed in the interior of the machine box so it is needless to additionally provide connecting pipes, greatly. diminishing the volume, taking less space, simplify its structure and convenient to be moved around.

  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a negative pressure tabletop dust-collecting machine in the present invention;

  • FIG. 3 is a side cross-sectional view of the negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine in the present invention; and
  • FIG 4 is a side cross-sectional view of the negative pressure tabletop dust-collecting machine in a dust collecting condition in the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • A preferred embodiment of a negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3, includes a machine box 10, an operation faceplate 20, a fixing base 30, a dust collecting unit 40 and a blower 50 combined together.
  • The machine box 10 is formed with a closed interior space 11 and has the intermediate portion of its top wall 12 bored with a vertical wind vent 121 and has the upper left and right side of the top wall 12 respectively and symmetrically bored with a plurality of recessed guide grooves 122, which have their bottoms slanting downward toward the wind vent 121. Further, the machine box 10 has its right side wall pivotally assembled with a door plate 13 able to be opened and closed and has its left side all bored with a wind-exhausting opening 14 near the lower side. In addition, the machine box 10 has its left wall and its doorplate 13 respectively provided near the upper side with a grasping member 15 with a recessed grasping groove 151 for facilitating lifting of the machine box 10.
  • The operation faceplate 20 to be closely assembled on the top wall 12 of the machine box 10 has its upper side formed with a supporting tabletop 21 bored with numerous wind-sucking vents 22 communicating with the wind vent 121 of the machine box 10.
  • The fixing base 30 is a frame body having its upper side and its lower side respectively hollowed out to form a first opening 31 and a second opening 32 communicating with each other. The first opening 31 has its upper peripheral edge closely combined with the underside of the top wall 12 of the machine box 10 and located at the periphery of the wind vent 121. In addition, the fixing base 30 has its opposite lower side walls respectively extending downward and then bent inward to form an L-shaped plate 33, with a slide groove 34 formed between the L-shaped plate 33 and the side wall of the fixing base 30.
  • The dust-collecting unit 40 has a rectangular frame body 41 provided with an interior formed with at least one air vent 411. In this preferred embodiment, the frame body 41 has its inner side longitudinally provided with two frame bars 412 to form three air vents 411 defined by the frame body 41 and the two frame bars 412. Further, a dust-collecting bag 42 is assembled on both the frame body 41 at the periphery of each air vent 411 and the frame bar 412, letting each bag mouth 421 of the dust-collecting bags 42 communicate with the air vent 411. Each dust-collecting bag 42 has its surface formed with numerous fine air holes (not shown). The frame body 41 of the dust collecting unit 40 can be slidably guided inward and fitted with the fixing base 30 along the two slide grooves 34 under the opposite sides of the fixing base 30 and closely fitted with the second opening 32 at the bottom of the fixing base 30, letting bag mouths 421 of the dust collecting bags 42 communicate with the second opening 32.
  • The blower 50 assembled in the interior space 11 of the machine box 10 is provided with a wind intake 51 and a wind outlet 52 that is closely combined with the wind-exhausting opening 14 at the left sidewall of the machine box 10.
  • The tabletop 21 of the operation faceplate 20 on the topside of the machine box 10 can be used as a support surface for placing and supporting a work piece 60 to be processed. In using, as shown in FIG. 4, only start the blower 50 to pump out the air in the interior space 11 of the machine box 10 through the wind intake 51 and the wind outlet 52 of the blower 50 and through the wind-exhausting opening 14 of the machine box 10, letting the air in the interior space 11 of the machine box 10 decrease gradually to form negative pressure. The dust collecting bags 42 are respectively formed with numerous fine air holes communicating with the interior space 11 of the machine box 10, therefore, when the interior space 11 of the machine box 10 forms negative pressure, the active force of the negative pressure will produce a vacuum suction force at each wind-sucking vent 22 of the work faceplate 20 through the numerous fine air holes and bag mouths 42 of the dust collecting bags 50 and through the first and the second opening 31, 32 of the fixing base 30 as well as the wind vent 121 in the topside of the machine box 10.
  • Thus, the dust 70 produced during processing of a work piece 60 will be sucked into the guide grooves 122 in the top wall 12 of the machine box 10 by the vacuum suction force produced at each wind-sucking vent 22 of the work faceplate 20. Simultaneously, the dust will be sucked to the wind vent 121 and gathered therein along the downward slanting bottoms of the guide grooves 22 and then the dust will drop into the dust collecting bags 42 of the dust collecting unit 40 through the first and the second opening 31, 32 of the fixing base 30, able to prevent the dust from floating about to pollute a working site and affect workers' health.
  • In addition, a user can in due time examine the dust collecting condition of the dust collecting bags 42 through changes of the suction force of each wind-sucking vent 22 of the faceplate 20 or by turning open the door plate 13 of the machine box 10 and watching directly. To clean up the dust collecting bags 42, only horizontally remove the whole dust collecting unit 40 out of the fixing base 30 and, after being cleaned, the dust collecting unit 40 is slidably guided in and fitted with the fixing base 30 and the door plate 13 is closed anew, convenient and quick in cleaning of the dust collecting bags.
  • Since the negative pressure tabletop dust-collecting machine of this invention has the blower 50 and the dust-collecting unit 40 assembled in the interior of the machine box 10, it is needless to additionally provide wind-sucking pipes and a bottom base. Therefore, the whole volume of the dust-collecting machine can be greatly reduced not to take much space. To sum up, the negative pressure tabletop dust-collecting machine of this invention is simple in structure, economical in producing cost and convenient to be moved around, having practicability and conforming to economical gain.
  • While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims (7)

1. A negative pressure tabletop dust collecting machine comprising:
a machine box formed with a closed interior space, said machine box having its top wall bored with a wind vent at a preset location, said machine box having one side wall bored with a wind-exhausting opening;
an operation faceplate closely assembled on the top wall of said machine box, said operation faceplate having its topside formed with a table top, said table top bored with numerous wind-sucking vents communicating with said wind vent of said machine box;
a fixing base closely fixed on the underside of the top wall of said machine box and positioned at said wind vent, said fixing base bored with a first opening and a second opening, said first opening communicating with said wind vent of said machine box;
a dust collecting unit provided with at least one dust collecting bag, said dust collecting bag closely assembled with said second opening of said fixing base, the bag mouth of said dust collecting bag communicating with said second opening of said fixing base; and
a blower installed in said interior space of said machine box, said blower provided with a wind intake and a wind outlet, said wind outlet of said blower closely combined with said wind-exhausting opening at one side of said machine box.

The negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said wind vent of said machine box is vertically bored in the intermediate portion of its top wall, said machine box having the opposite sides of its topside respectively bored with a plurality of recessed guide grooves, each said guide groove having its bottom slanting downward toward said wind vent in the intermediate portion of said machine box.
3. The negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said machine box is pivotally provided with a door plate at one side where said dust collecting unit is located.
4. The negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said machine box has two opposite sides respectively provided with a recessed grasping groove.
5. The negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said fixing base has a frame body provided with an upper and a lower side hollowed out to form a first opening and a second opening.
6. The negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said fixing base has its opposite lower sides respectively formed with a slide groove for said dust collecting unit to be slidably fitted and positioned therein.
7. The negative pressure table-top dust collecting machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said dust collecting unit is composed of a frame body having at least one air vent, the bag mouth of said dust collecting bag fixed on the peripheral edge of said air vent, said frame body of said dust collecting unit movably fitted with said fixing base.
