Abstract

The present invention is a kind of mop structure, wherein a barricading positioning device is installed on the main rod which would be used to work with several return stops that are implemented inside the traction part, the traction part can be moved or rotated on outside of the main rod. When the traction part is moving by the moving grip installed on the traction part, elastic barricading will be happening and the operation of winding dry will be convenient. At the bottom end of the main rod installs a connection base, a mop body is installed in-between the connection base and the connection part on one end of the traction part, a cable tie is used to tie up the mop body on the end of the traction part, the other end of the mop is installed on the connection base by a elastic connecting part which makes the installation of the mop body quick. A piece of push-tight part is provided in-between the main rod and the connection base, which is used to fix the connection base on one end of the main rod. The objectives of easy using and quick assembling as a whole will be attained.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a kind of mop structure and more particularly to a mop structure that is rotated as a whole to spread out for easy using, additionally with the structural design of elastic barricading and quick assembling, the objective of high practicality would be attained.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • As per the present, there are extremely varieties of mops, the most conventional one is composed of a mop head and a rod body, the mop head is made of fabric strands or strips which is easy to get loose or broken, and even worst it has shortcomings of being not easy to get dry surely and to have easy operation.
  • Based on those shortcomings of conventional mop, a structure of called PVA mop is developed. Nevertheless, the PVA sponge should be soaked wet before use and normally the time required to soak wet the PVA sponge is too long to have convenience in use, besides, it is easy to have void space on the PVA sponge which makes dirt uneasy to be adhered to and taken away. Therefore, PVA mops still have rooms to improve before that they can overall replace conventional mops.
  • The inventor proposed another kind of fabric strands mop during the year of 1996, which had added a rotating tube on outside of the main rod of the mop, bottom of the rotating tube and bottom of the main rod connect to the two sides of a mop body, the mop body of fabric is tied at two sides leaving the middle part stretched outward which is able to absorb water and be used to mop, such a mop structure is in-between conventional mop and PVA mop yet still complicated in mop body installation, screw and thread structure or lateral riveting is required to fix the mop body. The screw and thread structure is easy to get loose, riveting is a way of firm fixing structure which is extremely uneasy to replace a new mop body and requires improvement. Besides, the rotating tube is free to be rotated which makes the winding dry process difficult to achieve, which can not meet the requirement of keeping the mop winding dry most of the time. Therefore, the previous acknowledged mop structures require to be improved.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION <Technical Problems to be Resolved>
  • Being aware of the shortcomings mentioned above, to have a mop structure easier and faster in parts connection and assembling, and to have easier and faster operation in use, a mop structure of this invention that can meet the requirement is developed.
  • <Technical Measures and Efficacies>
  • The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a mop structure that has barricading positioning device and corresponding return stops installed on the main rod and on the traction portion respectively, with the use of efficient and fast barricading positioning the traction portion can keep in wringing dry status during a wringing dry operation, and the objective of high practicality would be attained.
  • The other purpose of the present invention is to provide a mop structure that installs a mop body in-between the traction portion and the connecting base on end of the main rod, with the use of cable tie as well as elastic connecting part, the objective of quick dissembling and assembling of the mop body would be attained, which makes the use of the mop more convenient.
  • Another purpose of the invention is to provide a mop structure that installs a push-tight part to connect the main rod and the connecting base, and the mechanism to cooperate with the push-tight part, and the objective of fast and efficient connection would be attained.
  • The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a mop structure of the present invention includes a polygonal hollow grip 10 with an extension of main rod 11. A cylindrical tubular traction portion 12 is installed on outside of the main rod 11. The traction portion 12 includes a straight tubular main body 120 and a spiral part 121 scattering at slightly spiral locations on the surface of the main body 120. A connecting part 122 is integrally formed with the main body 120 of the traction part 12 at the end away from the grip 10. The connecting part 122 is in shape of bell with connection mechanism of double flanges on outside of the bell, a stop part 123 in shape of dent is implemented on the outer flange of the bell which is used for a mop body 14 to be connected with and turned securely with the traction portion 12. A connecting base 13 is installed on the end of the main rod 11 coming out of the bell of the traction portion 12. The mop body 14 in shape of strips is installed in-between the connecting base 13 and the connecting part 122. A moving grip 15 is installed on outside of the traction portion 12, on the inner wall of the moving grip 15, a turning part 150 is formed as inner thread to match with the spiral part 121 of the traction portion 12, so that a user can hold with one hand on the moving part 15 letting the traction portion 12 turn the mop body 14 together with the main rod 11, with the created centrifugal force the mop body 14 will be spread outward for easy mopping.
  • The main features of this invention are:
  • The main rod 11 is a tubular structure, on which a puncture of retaining part 110 is made at suitable location wherein a retaining device 20 is installed. The retaining device 20 includes a retaining stud 21, which is in the form of a cylindrical rod penetrating through the retaining part 110 from inside of the main rod. An elastic push part 22 in shape of < is installed on the end of the retaining stud 21 inside the main rod 11 with which to provide elasticity for the retaining stud 21 to be retracted or extruded from the retaining part 110.
  • The inner wall of the tubular main body 120 of the above-mentioned traction portion 12 has a plurality of return stops 30, which is composed of a guiding part 31 with slanted surface and a barricading part 32 perpendicular to the inner wall of the main body 120. When a user holds on the moving grip 15 to move the moving grip 15 from the side of the connecting part 122 of the traction portion 12 toward the side of the grip 10.
  • Meanwhile, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 5, the turning part 150 on the inner wall of the moving grip 15 would cooperate with the spiral part 121 of the traction portion 12 to rotate the traction portion 12, in the mean time user's the other hand holds on the grip 10 keeping the main rod 11 still, the mop body 14 is in a twisted status with its one end staying still and the other end rotated, and at the same time of the mop body 14 being wrung dry, the retaining stud 21 of the retaining device 20 is sliding over the guiding part 31 of the return stops 30 and performing jump-over actions.
  • When the moving grip 15 stops moving, the wringed mop body 14 would create a reacting force on the traction portion 12, nonetheless the barricading part 32 of the return stops 30 would be barricaded by the vertical edge of the retaining stud 21 of the retaining device 20 and retain reacting force, therefore the mop body 14 would be securely kept wringing dry. When the moving grip 15 is pushed toward the traction portion 12, since the turning part 150 of the moving grip 15 and the spiral part 121 on the traction portion 12 are threaded tight with each other. The user holds on the moving grip without turning it, and the traction portion 12 is also not turning because the retaining device 20 is barricading it from rotation. The traction portion 12 is only allowed to move along with the direction of the moving grip 15 being pushed, and at the same time water is wrung out of the mop body 14, the effect of wringing dry is increased. When the traction portion 12 leaves the retaining device 20, the traction portion 12 would be free to be rotated.
  • Assembly of the connecting base 13, the main rod 11 and the mop body 14 of this invention is as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. A push-tight part 132 in shape of guiding cone is provided on the connecting base 13 at corresponding location with the main rod 11. An open slot 133 is formed on the push-tight part 132 along its axis for the push-tight part 132 to be flexibly contracted or expanded in size. A thread is provided outside the push-tight part 132 to be matched with a push-tight piece 40 which is pre-installed on the main rod 11. The push-tight piece 40 is in shape of a round cap with a hole in the center for the main rod 11 to penetrate through. A slanted push-tight thread 41 in correspondence with the push-tight part 132 is provided inside the cap for the purpose of being screwed on the push-tight part 132, with the cooperation of the slanted guiding on one another, the push-tight part 132 would be shrunk or expanded; the connection base 13 can be quickly and easily assembled and disassembled with the main rod 11 by turning the push-tight piece 40 tight or loose for the purpose of replacing the two assemblies in case of damages.
  • Besides, the connecting parts 131 of two holes are provided on the bottom of the bell of the connecting base 13 for receiving a connecting piece 50 to fix one side of the mop body 14 on the connecting base 13. The mop body 14 is made of fabric sewn as a round carton, the middle part of the fabric carton is cut along the axis to strips, a penetration part 140 at the location in correspondence with the connecting piece 50 is made on the bottom side of the mop body 14, the other side forms a circular tunnel to accommodate a cable tie 141, the cable tie 141 tighten one end of the mop body 14 on the connecting part 122 of the traction portion 12, the other end of the mop body 14 will be fixed on the connecting base 13 by the use of said connecting piece 50. The connecting piece 50 is in figure of U with its two sides stretched out to form a fix-through part 51 which will penetrate through the penetration part 140 on the mop body 14. Two fix parts 510 of elastic backward hooks are formed on the tips of the fix-through part 51 for connecting with the connecting parts 131 of the connecting base 13. Then the bottom side of the mop body 14 can be flexibly fixed on the connecting base 13 with the use of the connecting piece 50, to take them apart, simply press on the two sides of the connecting piece 50 to get the fix parts 510 out of the connecting parts 131, replacing the mop body 14 would be quick and easy.
  • With the use of the structures mentioned above, functions can be derived as follows:
  • 1. Fast, convenient and sure wringing dry to the mop body 14: with the use of the retaining device 20 and the return stops 30, the traction portion 12 would be barricaded in one direction to the main rod 11 when the moving grip 15 is moved toward the user's direction, and then mop body 14 would be in the direction of wringing dry without being returned and loose, the operation of wringing dry would be more sure. When the wringing dry process is done to a certain degree, the user can do direct push to wring water out to reinforce the effect of wringing dry. It is extremely convenient and quick in use.
  • 2. Quick and convenient dissembling and assembling to all constituents: connections of the connecting base 13 with the main rod 11, the connecting base 13 with the mop body 14 and the mop body 14 with the traction portion 12 are all in ways of quick and sure process, such as turning to push tight, elastic lock fastening and cable tie fastening, that will make dissembling and assembling of the constituents convenient and fast.
  • While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims (8)

1. A mop comprising:
a grip with an extension of main rod;
a traction portion being installed on outside of said main rod, said traction portion including a main body, a spiral part providing on the surface of said main body, and a connecting part being integrally formed with said main body at one end away from said grip;
a connecting base being installed on one end of said main rod coming out of said traction portion;
a mop body being defined by a plurality of fabric strips and attached between said connecting base and said connecting part;
a moving grip being installed on outside of said traction portion, a turning part is formed on inner wall of said moving grip as inner thread to match with said spiral part of said traction portion;
said main rod including a retaining device, and said traction portion including a plurality of corresponding return stops;
said retaining device comprising a retaining stud, said retaining stud being in form of an elastic extruding stopper;
said plurality of return stops including a guiding part with slanted surface and a vertical barricading part; and
said retaining device and said plurality of return stops being in a status of guiding-barricading in one direction, i.e. said main rod and said traction portion being in a status of jump-over in one direction.
2. The mop as claimed in claim 1, wherein said main rod has a puncture of retaining part, said retaining device is installed thereon, said retaining device includes said retaining stud, which is penetrating through said retaining part from inside of said main rod, an elastic push part is installed on one end of said retaining stud inside said main rod, said main body of said traction portion has said plurality of corresponding return stops, which is composed of said guiding part with slanted surface and said barricading part perpendicular to inner wall of said main body.
3. The mop as claimed in claim 2, wherein said retaining stud is in form of a cylindrical rod.
4. A mop comprising:
a grip with an extension of main rod;
a traction portion being installed on outside of said main rod, said traction portion including a main body, a spiral part providing on the surface of said main body, and a connecting part being integrally formed with said main body at one end away from said grip;
a connecting base being installed on one end of said main rod coming out of said traction portion;
a mop body being defined by a plurality of fabric strips and attached between said connecting base and said connecting part;
a moving grip being installed on outside of said traction portion, a turning part is formed on inner wall of said moving grip as inner thread to match with said spiral part of said traction portion;
said connecting base including a push-tight part in shape of guiding cone corresponding to said main rod, said push-tight part having an open slot along its axis and a thread provided thereon; and
a push-tight piece being pre-installed on said main rod, said push-tight piece with a hole in the center for said main rod to penetrate through, a slanted push-tight thread in correspondence with said push-tight part of said connecting base being provided therein.
5. A mop comprising:
a grip with an extension of main rod;
a traction portion being installed on outside of said main rod, said traction portion including a main body, a spiral part providing on the surface of said main body, and a connecting part being integrally formed with said main body at one end away from said grip;
a connecting base being installed on one end of said main rod coming out of said traction portion;
a mop body being defined by a plurality of fabric strips and attached between said connecting base and said connecting part;
a moving grip being installed on outside of said traction portion, a turning part is formed on inner wall of said moving grip as inner thread to match with said spiral part of said traction portion;
a connecting part being provided on said connecting base corresponding to said mop body;
a penetration part being provided on one end of said mop body corresponding to a connecting piece; and
said connecting piece with its two sides stretched out to form a fix-through part penetrating through said penetration part on said mop body, two elastic fix parts being formed on tips of said fix-through part of said connecting piece.
6. The mop as claimed in claim 5, wherein said fix part is in shape of backward hook.
7. A mop comprising:
a grip with an extension of main rod;
a traction portion being installed on outside of said main rod, said traction portion including a main body, a spiral part providing on the surface of said main body, and a connecting part being integrally formed with said main body at one end away from said grip;
a connecting base being installed on one end of said main rod coming out of said traction portion;
a mop body being defined by a plurality of fabric strips and attached between said connecting base and said connecting part;
a moving grip being installed on outside of said traction portion, a turning part is formed on inner wall of said moving grip as inner thread to match with said spiral part of said traction portion; and
said mop body having a circular tunnel to accommodate a cable tie, said cable tie tighten one end of said mop body on said connecting part of said traction portion.
8. The mop as claimed in claim 7, wherein said connecting part is in shape of bell with connection mechanism of double flanges on outside of said bell, a stop part in shape of dent is provided on said outer flange of said bell.
