Abstract

Two Cards Combo 21 is a card game in convention with the playing method of Blackjack (twenty-one) that multiple players engage in taking turns to play their own hand against to dealer's hand. A method of playing Two Cards Combo 21 card game comprises a dealer and at least one player. It uses a shoe with six decks or eight decks of standard playing card without jokers, queens and kings (44 cards of each deck). In conjunction with standard rules of Blackjack, there are one mandatory bet which is Ante (Two cards Combo 21) and five side bets, such as, Dealer Bust, Any Pair of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, jack, and ace, Blackjack or Combo 21, Any Even number, and Any Odd number.

  • BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
      • A. Twenty-One (Blackjack) is a card game that players play their own hand to against the dealer's hand. The object of the game is to achieve a highest point, 21. Any total number is over 21 will be consider as bust; player will lose their bet; dealer has to pay the player who still have a valid hand.
        • 1. According to standard rule of the traditional Blackjack, one or multi decks of standard playing cards are used and each card, from 2 to 9, counts its face value, except Aces and face cards. Ace has a value of one or eleven. All the face cards are count as ten.
        • 2. Each participating player and dealer initially receives two cards. Both players and dealer may draw additional cards (take a hit) in order to improve their hand or stand (not taking additional card) according to house rule. Players may surrender or doubling down before the third card is drew.
        • 3. Dealer has to stand on 17 or soft 17 and hit 16 (or soft 17) in some casinos. Dealer has to stand on 17 and hit on 16 or soft 17 in some casinos.
        • 4. Players can split pairs (identical numerical cards). Dealer can't split pairs.
        • 5. Players can buy the insurance when dealer has an ace as the face up card.
        • 6. In Spanish 21, the Blackjack hand and the total numerical number of the card is 21 will get pay immediately.

  • Based on the method of playing traditional Blackjack, Two Cards Combo 21 players have to place their ante bet, initial wager or bet, before any cards are dealt.
  • In traditional Blackjack card game, cards are dealt from multiple decks of standard 52 playing cards without two jokers. Each card's point value being its face value; the face cards have a point value of 10; Aces have a point value either 1 or 11 as determinate by the hand of the players or dealer. Two Cards combo 21 adapt the same system of the point value in traditional Blackjack card game, however, there is no queens and kings in the decks.
  • Players initially receive two cards face-up while dealer receive two cards, one face-up and one face down.
  • Players are allowing to stand, hit, surrender, buy the insurance, split pairs, and double down.
  • In some casinos, the house dealer must stand on 17 and hit on soft 17, 16 and soft 16 or less. In some casino the house dealer must stand on 17 and soft 17, and hit on 16 and soft 16 or less. The house dealer must stand on 17, and takes a hit on 16 and soft 17 or less in Two Cards Combo 21 card game.

  • Two Cards Combo 21 is a card game without jokers, queens, and kings in the decks. It provides five different bonus betting choices, such as, Dealer Bust, Any Pair of Ace, Jack, Ten, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, Blackjack and Combo 21, Any Even number, and Any Odd number.
  • The method of playing Two Cards Combo 21 using six or eight decks of standard playing cards without jokers, queens, and kings (44 cards each deck) comprising players using all the strategies, such as, hit, stand, spilt pairs, surrender, rescue, and double down, to avoid bust their hand and obtain the highest point value to beat the dealer's hand.
  • Players have to place wager on the ante (Two Cards combo 21) in order to play the side bets.
  • The bonus for betting on the side bets will be determined by the casinos.
  • Players will be paid the blackjack and combo 21 payout immediately.
  • Players can only spilt pairs, such as, twos, threes, fours, fives, sixes, sevens, eights, and nines as many times as they want. Player can split aces, jacks and tens only once.
  • When player splits aces, they cannot take additional cards as split other pairs.

  • 5. Dealer has to offer insurance to all the players when dealer's face up card is an Ace. Players can place any amount of the wager up to one half of their original bet to buy the insurance when dealer's face up card is Ace. If dealer has a blackjack, players lost their ante bet and get 2 to 1 (or more) paid for their insurance wager. If dealer does not have a blackjack, players lose the insurance wager.

      • Players and are dealt two initial cards one at a time to start the game.
      • The two initial cards, Ace and Jack make a hand called Blackjack.
      • The two initial cards, Ace and 10 make a hand called 11 or Combo 21.
      • Player can double down the 11, Ace and 10.
      • There are six betting areas, such, the ante betting, Dealer Bust, Any Pair of ace, jack, ten, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, Any Even number, and Any Odd number and Blackjack and Combo 21.
      • Players can take additional cards (hit), stand, and surrender, split the pairs, and buy the insurance to protect their original wager.
        Rules of Two Cards Combo 21
        1. Players can stand on any number of cards with any total value.
        2. Players can take additional cards (hit) on any total value that is not 21.
        3. Players can double down on any number of cards (not limit to the two initial cards) and any value of the hand.
        4. Player can't take any more hit after double down.
        5. Player can rescuer the double down wager after double down by losing the original bet 6. Players can split any pairs, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, and 9s, as many times as they want with the same amount of wager as the original bet.
        6. Players can split any pairs, 10s, Jacks, and Aces, only one time with the same amount of wager as the original bet.
        7. Player splits the Ace will get only one card for each ace.
        8. Players can double down on any value of the hand after they split the pairs.
        9. Players have to wager on Two Cards Combo 21 to eligible to wager on any one of the side bets, such as, Dealer Bust, Any Pair of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Ace, Jack, and ten, Blackjack and Combo 21, Any Even number, and Any Odd number.
        10. The wager on the side bets (Dealer Bust, Any Pair of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Ace, Jack and ten, Blackjack and Combo 21, Any Even number, and Any Odd number) is betting on the initial two cards (the first two cards of the hand) only.
        11. Players will get pay immediately for a blackjack and combo 21 hand.
        12. Players can buy the insurance when dealer's face up card is an Ace.
        13. Dealer's hand has to stand on 17 (hard 17) and draw additional cards on 16 or soft 17.
        14. Player will get pay immediately after they hit the cards up to 21.

Claims (11)

1. A method of playing Two Cards combo 21 comprising:
(a) Multiple players making an initial wager on Two Cards Combo 21 to play against house dealer by using six decks eight decks of standard playing card without jokers, queens, and kings. (44 cards of each deck, 264 cards for six decks and 352 cards for eight decks).
(b) Ace is count as 1 or 11. Jack counts as 10. All other cards from 2 to 10 are count as “pip” value, a number value of the card.
(c) Both players and house dealer are dealt two cards initially, one at time. Players have to wager on ante in order to player the two cards combo bet.
(d) Both house dealer and players will be dealt two cards initially and can draw additional cards to improve their hands.
(e) The house dealer's hand is comparing to each player's hand; the hand with the highest point (numerical value of the cards) wins the game.
(f) The total point, 21, is the higher point a hand can get; any point is over 21 will being considered as a bust hand.
(g) A face card (jack) with an ace make a hand called Blackjack. A blackjack hand is higher then 21.
(h) Dealer's hand has to stand on 17 (hard 17) and draw an additional card on 16 or soft 17 (an ace and 6).
(i) Players have a choice to buy the insurance, surrender their hand without draw any cards, draw cards (hit) or not draw any cards (stand), double down, rescue the double down wager and split any pairs.
(j) Players can split any identical numerical value cards, such as, two 9s, two 8s, two 7s, two 6s, two 5s, two 4s, two 3s, and two 2s, as many times as they want.
(k) Players can split a pair of ace, jack, and ten only once.
(l) Players can double down on any total number of cards with any numerical value the total is not 21. Players can rescue their double down wager.
(m) When players and dealer have the same total point value, it is a tie, no win or lost.
(n) Players can place a minimum wager $1.00 up to their ante (original bet on Two Cards Combo 21) on the side bets, such as, Dealer Bust, Any Pair of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, jack, and ace, Blackjack or 21, Any Even number, and Any Odd number, to get bonus.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein participate players have to place a wager, any amount from table minimum to table maximum, in order to receive the initial two cards, face-up, one at a time.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the cards are dealt clockwise and face up one at a time to each player first, then the dealer at the first rotation and second rotation. At the second rotation, all the players' card is dealt face-up; dealer's card is dealt face down, which is called hole card.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein any hand, player has a blackjack hand or 21 (the initial two cards) won automatically when dealer's face up card is an ace or not.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the wager on the side bets is betting on the initial two cards only, except the Dealer Bust.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the players get bonus payout immediately if they wager on the side bets and win.
7. The method of claim 1, when dealer has an ace as face up card, players who don't have a blackjack can buy the insurance to protect their wager. If dealer has a blackjack hand or Combo 21, players who buy the insurance will lose the original bet and get two to one (or more) (vary from casino) for the insurance bet.
8. The method of claim 1, wherein the dealer's hand has to stand on 17 (hard 17) and draw an additional card on 16 or soft 17 (an ace and 6).
9. The method of claim 1, wherein the players will get pay even money immediately after they took additional cards and hit up to the 21.
10. The method of claim 1, wherein the players will lose their wager after they took additional cards and the total point value is over the 21.
11. The method of claim 1, wherein the players will get 3 to 2 payout for a blackjack or Combo 21 hand and bonus if they place the bet on both ante and side bet—Blackjack and Combo 21.
