Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a fastening means of return air grille, and more particularly to a fastening means of grid face of air grille.
- 2. Description of Prior Art
- So far, in some homes or offices, on the ceilings and walls there are air ventilation facilities set up for making rooms get circulated fresh air, further keeping the air cleaner and fresher in the rooms, therein between the grid face and the stationary frame a filter is located. During a certain long time of use, said filtering device should be taken out for cleaning or replacing, but in removing filter, firstly the user should open the grid face, generally which is hinged to the stationary frame on the top side, the opposite side is fastened on the stationary frame with a pair of metal fixed lever, due to poor elasticity of metal, so as opening grid face an extra force has to be needed to release the metal lever from the stationary frame, therefore, the finger feels uncomfortable and exerts more force.
- It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a fastening means of grid face of air grille that is operated easily with simpler structure and easier and more convenient operation.
- For achieving the object, the present invention providing technique project is to set a grid face fastening means including a grid face, a filtering device, a stationary frame and door latches, in which said grid face is hinged to the stationary frame with one side, and the opposite side of the grid face is fastened on the stationary frame with the door latches; wherein said door clatch molded of plastic is located on the grid face in movable connection with a catching hook at the middle portion; a pushing portion is built upon the upside of the door latch, and a L-shaped catching shoe on the lower portion, above the L-shaped catching shoe the catching hook is built up for holding the grid face on, and an open slot constructed of the low leg of the L-shaped shoe and the bottom of said pushing portion is used to catch on the stationary frame.
- Said open slot possesses two opposite teeth built on the inside approaching to the open end.
- Said grid face possesses locating slots for retaining the door latch in, and said door latch can slide along the slot, coordinating to the locating slots there are locating holes built upon the stationary frame.
- Said stationary frame possesses a catching hole built upon one side and approaching to each catching hole.
- The pushing portion of said door latch is wider than width of the locating slot of the grid face, and the catching shoe is narrower than the width of the locating slot of the grid face.
- Said open slot of the catching shoe is wider than or equal to the thickness of wall of the stationary frame.
- The distance of the teeth formed adjacent to the open ends of the open slot is smaller than the thickness of the side wall of the stationary frame.
- The pushing portion of said door latch possesses a curved surface coordinating to the finger pad.
- The curved surface of the pushing portion is fabricated with rough-plane for facilitating to anti-skid touching.
- By means of the above-mentioned technique project, because the door latch applied is a sole piece of part molded of plastic, and is located on the grid face with the middle portion in slide motion, its upper portion is formed a pushing portion, and the low portion forms a L-shaped catching shoe, and a catching hook is built on the middle portion above the catching shoe for holding the grid face on, and an open slot constructed of the low leg of the L-shaped shoe and the bottom of said pushing portion is used to catch on the stationary frame; so the fastening way of locating the grid face on the stationary frame is horizontal launching, by means of the material features of the plastic door latch, such as good elasticity feature, locking or releasing operation of grid face is much easier with less force needed; when opening the grid face, just need to push the door latch respectively to outward so as to slide off from the stationary frame, the grid face is opened wholly, in this case, locking or opening the grid face becomes easy and convenient.
