Abstract

This invention is to replace the way conventional toilets are installed This installation does not use any conventional parts. It is designed to be installed through a hole in the floor using an extension of the toilet (manufactured on the toilet or adhered to existing toilets), which will go through the floor and have an attaching nut to secure the toilet.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention relates generally to the field of apparatus for a replacement of the way conventional toilets are attached to the floor. Moreover it pertains specifically to such apparatus for making toilets environmentally acceptable.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the limitations now present in the prior art, the present invention provides a new and useful way to possibly never have to remove the toilet to make repairs because of leaks at the floor level (Wax ring replacement) which is simpler in construction, more universally usable and more versatile in operation than known apparatus of this kind.
  • The purpose of the present invention is to provide a new design that has many novel features not offered by the prior art apparatus that result in a new and simple device which is not apparent, obvious, or suggested, either directly or indirectly by any of the prior art apparatus This toilet will have an extension manufactured on it to extend below the floor with a nut that will screw onto the extension and secure the toilet to the floor.
  • The foregoing has outlined, in general, the physical aspects of the invention and is to serve as an aid to better understanding the more complete detailed description, which is to follow. In reference to such, there is to be a clear understanding that the present invention is not limited to the method or detail of construction, fabrication, material, or application of use described and illustrated herein. Any other variation of fabrication, use, or application should be considered apparent as an alternative embodiment of the present invention.
  • ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE
  • This is a toilet that is designed to have a very practical use. Easy installation and very safe to sit on (It will not give like conventional wax ring installed toilets).
  • OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly several advantages and objects of the present invention are:
  • A principal object of the present invention is to provide a safe and sanitary toilet application that will overcome the deficiencies of the prior art devices.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a Toilet connection that will have capabilities of designs that are hindered by conventional toilets because of the attachment holes. A device that is more universally functional in today's market than the prior art devices.
  • It is intended that any other advantages and objects of the present invention that become apparent or obvious from the detailed description or illustrations contained herein are within the scope of the present invention.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The following drawings further describe by illustration the advantages and objects of the present invention. Corresponding figure reference characters within the “DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION” section to follow references each drawing.
  • FIG. 1. Is a perspective view of the Toilet connection according to the present invention.
  • See FIG. 1 (Attached)
  • FIG. 2. Is a side view of the Toilet connection according to the present invention.
  • See FIG. 2 (Attached)
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring now descriptively to the drawings, the attached figures illustrate a way the toilet or the connection will be made and a way to add the extension to existing toilets. Toilets can be manufactured with the connection also.
  • FIGS. 1 illustrates the Dahlberg (Toilet) Connection according to the present invention, a safe, secure and environmentally way to attach toilets to the bathroom. This invention is for toilets to be manufactured with the septic line connection attached to the toilet. The other option is to attach the Dahlberg (Toilet) Connection to existing toilets.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates the connection without the washer and nut.
  • The toilets will have this extension attached to a toilet that is threaded to accommodate a large nut and washer that will secure the toilet to the floor from underneath the structure.
  • It will also be understood that, in addition to the manufactured toilet a version of the device can be used to attach existing toilets with some form of adhesive.
  • It is further intended that any other embodiments of the present invention that result from any changes in application or method of use or operation, method of manufacture, shape, size, or material which are not specified within the detailed written description or illustrations contained herein yet are considered apparent or obvious to one skilled in the art are within the scope of the present invention.

Claims (1)

1. I came up with this idea quite a few years ago when I had to replace a wax ring on my toilet. The wood had dry rot where the toilet had leaked for a long time without being detected. This give me an idea that if the toilet had an extension it, which would go through the floor things like wax rings would be eliminated and so would all the problems that go with the wax ring installation
This invention is so different than the conventional toilet floor application because it does not need anything extra like a wax ring, floor mounting ring or nuts and bolts. Therefore the probability of leaks and the mess of replacing the wax ring have been eliminated, with the use of the Dahlberg (Toilet) Connection.
