Abstract

A compound container includes an upper half body and a lower half body combined together. The upper half body is made of non-metal material, having a tapered up surface covered with a metal layer on the tapered up surface. The lower half body is made of a transparent plastic, having a tapered down surface. The compound container formed by the upper and the lower half body presents esthetic feeling caused by its outer solid profile and increases its commercial value.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • This invention relates to a compound container, particularly to one consisting of an upper half body with a metal layer covered on its outer surface, and a lower transparent half body combined together with the upper half body. The upper half body is shaped to taper upward, and the lower half body is shaped to taper down so the whole shape of the compound container is shaped as convex, having an aesthetic outer appearance and increasing its commercial value.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Conventional common containers are structured to have an inner hollow space with a trite shape such as cylindrical, multi-sided or postal, made of metal, glass, porcelain, plastic (especially acrylic), etc. having an outer surface printed with a pattern, a picture, or words. However, their outer surface is almost flat, devoid of solid 3D feeling and esthetics, and metal ones are easy to transmit heat, needing a brush to clean, and other kinds of containers are apt to break, requiring attention in using.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main purpose of the invention is to offer a compound container made of two different materials and having a convex outer surface to present an esthetic outer appearance.
  • The feature of the invention is a container consisting of an upper half body with a metal layer covered on its outer surface and a lower half body made of a transparent material, with the upper half body shaped to taper upward, and with the lower half body shaped to taper down to form a whole convex outer surface.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
  • This invention will be easily understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a compound container in the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the compound container in the present invention;
  • FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the compound container applied to a toothbrush cup in the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the compound container applied to a body washing cream bottle in the present invention;
  • FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the compound container applied to a cotton container in the present invention;
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • A preferred embodiment of a compound container in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, includes an upper half body 1 and a lower half body combined together.
  • The upper half body 1 is cylindrical and tapered upward, made of plastic and having a metal layer 10 covered on its outer surface.
  • The lower half body 2 is cylindrical with a closed bottom and an open upper end, and made of a transparent material such as plastic (especially acrylic).
  • Then the upper half body 1 is combined with the lower half body 2 by some means, forming the compound container made of two different materials and having an aesthetic solid appearance of a whole convex outer surface, and easy to be washed owing to its plastic material.
  • The compound container is then applicable to be used as a tooth brush cup 3, a body washing cream bottle 4, a cotton container 5, etc. as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5 respectively.
  • While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims (3)

1. A compound container comprising:
an upper half body made of non-metal material, shaped cylindrical and having a tapered up surface and a metal layer covered on said tapered-up surface;
a lower half body made of non-metal material, shaped cylindrical with a tapered down surface and having a closed lower end and an open upper circular end combined with a lower circular end of said upper half body; and,
said half body and said lower half body combined together to form said compound container, said compound container presenting an esthetic solid feeling and having a solid curved profile for increasing commercial value.
2. The compound container as claimed in claim 1, wherein said metal layer of said upper half body and said transparent surface of said lower half body are proportioned nearly 1:1.
3. The compound container as claimed in claim 1, wherein said lower half body is made of a transparent material.
