Abstract

A portable information device comprises a machine and a tray having slots to contain cosmetic products or body care products. The tray and machine are combined together such that they are slidable, rotationable, or foldable to each other to expose or hide the slots. Alternatively, in a portable information device, a tray is embedded on a cover of a machine, and a plate is above the cover to expose or hide slots on the tray.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is related generally to a portable information device and more particularly, to a portable information device combined with a cosmetic container.
    • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Development in technology has tied information to life more closely. When going outside, people usually carry portable information devices, such as mobile phone, Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), music player, and other electronic information products. As technology is improved, more and more functions of various information devices are gradually integrated into a device and therefore, less objects are carried with people when they are going outside, and it is more convenient for them on the travel. For example, the functions of calculator, PDA, digital camera and MP3 player have been integrated into a mobile phone, and carrying only a mobile phone can easily achieve the multiple functions of various electronic products. However, it is only electronic information functions currently integrated in a portable information device, lacking of daily products, and people, especially office ladies, still have to carry many objects such as cosmetic and body care products together with portable information device when going outside, resulting in inconvenience in their life.
  • Therefore, it is desired a portable information device combined with a cosmetic container.
    • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • One object of the present invention is to provide a portable information device combined with a cosmetic container.
  • According to the present invention, a portable information device comprises a machine combined with a tray having slots to contain cosmetic products or body care products in such a way that the tray and machine are slidable, rotationable, or foldable to each other to expose or hide the slots. Alternatively, a portable information device comprises a tray embedded on a cover of a machine, and a plate above the cover to expose or hide slots on the tray. By integrating a cosmetic container on a portable information device, user can carry fewer objects when going outside.

    • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 show a first embodiment of the present invention. In a portable information device 100, such as mobile phone, PDA, electronic photo album, music player, and any others, a machine 110 has a display 112 and a keypad 114 thereon, and a tray 120 has slots 122 thereon for containing cosmetic products such as lipstick, charm color, eye shadow, compact powder, eyelash mascara, eyebrow pencil, dye, and any others, or body care products such as lotion, isolation cream, essence cream, sun screen, body activation lotion, body care lotion, moisture lotion, body clean lotion and exfoliating gel, and any others. The tray 120 is combined to the machine 110 in such a way that the tray 120 and machine 110 are slidable to each other to draw out the tray 120 from the machine 110 or hide the tray 120 within the machine 110. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2B, after the tray 120 is drawn out downward from the machine 110, the slots 122 on the tray 120 are exposed, and the cosmetic products or body care products therein can be reached. While the tray 120 and machine 110 are overlapped as shown in FIG. 2A, the slots 122 on the tray 120 are hidden. Alternatively, FIGS. 3A and 3B show a second and third embodiments of the present invention, respectively, in which to expose slots 122 on a tray 120, the tray 120 is drawn out from a machine 110 upward and rightward, respectively.
  • FIG. 4 shows a fourth embodiment of the present invention. In a portable information device 100, such as mobile phone, PDA, electronic photo album, music player, and any others, a machine 110 has a display 112 and a keypad 114 thereon, and a tray 120 has slots 122 thereon for containing cosmetic products such as lipstick, charm color, eye shadow, compact powder, eyelash mascara, eyebrow pencil, dye, and any others, or body care products such as lotion, isolation cream, essence cream, sun screen, body activation lotion, body care lotion, moisture lotion, body clean lotion and exfoliating gel, and any others. The tray 120 is combined to the machine 110 in such a way that the tray 120 and machine 110 are rotationable to each other to pull out the tray 120 from the machine 110 or push back the tray 120 within the machine 110. As shown in FIG. 4, after the tray 120 is pulled out from the machine 110, the slots 122 on the tray 120 are exposed, and the cosmetic products or body care products therein can be reached. While the tray 120 is pushed back within the machine 110, the slots 122 on the tray 120 are hidden. The information device 100 shown in FIG. 4 may be modified to be a fifth embodiment of the present invention as shown in FIG. 5, in which the rotating axis for a tray 120 to rotate is located underneath a machine 110.
  • FIGS. 6 and 7 show a sixth embodiment of the present invention. In a portable information device 100, such as mobile phone, PDA, electronic photo album, music player, and any others, a machine 110 has a display 112 and a keypad 114 thereon, and a tray 120 has slots 122 thereon for containing cosmetic products such as lipstick, charm color, eye shadow, compact powder, eyelash mascara, eyebrow pencil, dye, and any others, or body care products such as lotion, isolation cream, essence cream, sun screen, body activation lotion, body care lotion, moisture lotion, body clean lotion and exfoliating gel, and any others. The tray 120 is combined to the machine 110 in such a way that the tray 120 and machine 110 are foldable to each other to expend the tray 120 from the machine 110 or hide the tray 120 behind the machine 110. As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7A, after the tray 120 is expended out from the machine 110, the slots 122 on the tray 120 are exposed, and the cosmetic products or body care products therein can be reached. While the tray 120 and machine 110 are overlapped as shown in FIG. 7B, the slots 122 on the tray 120 are hidden.
  • FIG. 8 shows a seventh embodiment of the present invention. In a portable information device 100, such as mobile phone, PDA, electronic photo album, music player, and any others, a machine 110 has a display 112 and a keypad 114 thereon, a cover 130 on the machine 110 is foldable to cover on the machine 110 or expose the display 112 and keypad 114 on the machine 110, a tray 120 is embedded on the cover 130 and has slots 122 thereon for containing cosmetic products such as lipstick, charm color, eye shadow, compact powder, eyelash mascara, eyebrow pencil, dye, and any others, or body care products such as lotion, isolation cream, essence cream, sun screen, body activation lotion, body care lotion, moisture lotion, body clean lotion and exfoliating gel, and any others, and a plate 140 above the cover 130 is foldable to expose or hide the slots 122 on the tray 120. After the plate 140 is flipped to expose the slots 122 on the tray 120, the cosmetic products or body care products therein can be reached. When the plate 140 is flipped to cover on the tray 120, the slots 122 thereon are hidden.
  • As shown in the aforementioned embodiments, a cosmetic container is integrated into a portable information device and therefore, people carrying a portable information device of the present invention may have cosmetic products or body care products to use, thereby increasing the convenience in life.
  • While the present invention has been described in conjunction with preferred embodiments thereof, it is evident that many alternatives, modifications and variations will be apparent to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, it is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications and variations that fall within the spirit and scope thereof as set fourth in the appended claims.

Claims (16)

1. A portable information device combined with a cosmetic container, comprising:
a machine; and
a tray having a plurality of slots thereon, each for containing a cosmetic product or body care product;
wherein the tray and machine are slidable to each other to expose or hide the slots.
2. The portable information device of claim 1, wherein the machine comprises a mobile phone, PDA, electronic photo album, or music player.
3. The portable information device of claim 1, wherein the cosmetic product comprises a lipstick, charm color, eye shadow, compact powder, eyelash mascara, eyebrow pencil, or dye.
4. The portable information device of claim 1, wherein the body care product comprises a lotion, isolation cream, essence cream, sun screen, body activation lotion, body care lotion, moisture cream, body clean lotion and exfoliating gel.
5. A portable information device combined with a cosmetic container, comprising:
a machine; and
a tray having a plurality of slots thereon, each for containing a cosmetic product or body care product;
wherein the tray and machine are rotationable to each other to expose or hide the slots.
6. The portable information device of claim 5, wherein the machine comprises a mobile phone, PDA, electronic photo album, or music player.
7. The portable information device of claim 5, wherein the cosmetic product comprises a lipstick, charm color, eye shadow, compact powder, eyelash mascara, eyebrow pencil, or dye.
8. The portable information device of claim 5, wherein the body care product comprises a lotion, isolation cream, essence cream, sun screen, body activation lotion, body care lotion, moisture cream, body clean lotion and exfoliating gel.
9. A portable information device combined with a cosmetic container, comprising:
a machine; and
a tray having a plurality of slots thereon, each for containing a cosmetic product or body care product;
wherein the tray and machine are foldable to each other to expose or hide the slots.
10. The portable information device of claim 9, wherein the machine comprises a mobile phone, PDA, electronic photo album, or music player.
11. The portable information device of claim 9, wherein the cosmetic product comprises a lipstick, charm color, eye shadow, compact powder, eyelash mascara, eyebrow pencil, or dye.
12. The portable information device of claim 9, wherein the body care product comprises a lotion, isolation cream, essence cream, sun screen, body activation lotion, body care lotion, moisture cream, body clean lotion and exfoliating gel.
13. A portable information device combined with a cosmetic container, comprising:
a machine having a cover;
a tray embedded on the cover, the tray having a plurality of slots thereon, each for containing a cosmetic product or body care product; and
a plate above the cover, for exposing or hiding the slots.
14. The portable information device of claim 13, wherein the machine comprises a mobile phone, PDA, electronic photo album, or music player.
15. The portable information device of claim 13, wherein the cosmetic product comprises a lipstick, charm color, eye shadow, compact powder, eyelash mascara, eyebrow pencil, or dye.
16. The portable information device of claim 13, wherein the body care product comprises a lotion, isolation cream, essence cream, sun screen, body activation lotion, body care lotion, moisture cream, body clean lotion and exfoliating gel.
