Abstract
A screwless fixing device for fixing a product on a machine case having a hanging hole is disclosed. The screwless fixing device comprises: a main body; a flange formed around the main body; an operating lever integrated with one side of the main body; a fastening part integrated with the flange at a predetermined distance from one side of the flange so as to form a gap therebetween; a fastener integrated with the main body and extended from the backside of the main body; and a circular trench formed between the fastener and the main body to enable the fastener to be hung on the hanging hole of the machine case. As a result, the fastening part can be located to lean on the product by rotating the operating lever without the use of any screwing device. Consequently, the purpose of fastening can be achieved easily.
Description
- The present invention is related to a screwless fixing device for fixing a component on a machine case, and more particularly to a screwless fixing device with simplified assemblage for achieving the purpose of fastening without the use of any tool.
- The component of the general electronic product is always fixed and positioned by screwing the screws. Accordingly, several screws must be screwed or unscrewed by use a tool during assembly or disassembly. In this manner, it is time-consuming. If no tool is available, it is hard to perform the assembly and the disassembly.
- In view of the continuous development and improvement of the inner structure of the computer host in the electronic industry, a screwless fixing device is disclosed for fixing the component preferably.
- It is a main object of the present invention to provide a screwless fixing device for fixing a product such as power supply or other component by rotation. The purpose of fastening can be achieved easily without the use of any screwing device.
- It is another object of the present invention to disclose a fastening part for fixing the product elastically, wherein a gap is formed between fastening part and the main body. As a result, the fastening part can be located to lean on the product elastically and to tightly position the product.
- Other objects and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the drawings in which:
-
FIG. 1 is an elevational view showing the implementation of the present invention. -
FIG. 2 is an exploded, elevational view showing the structure shown inFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 3 is an elevational view showing the fixing device of the present invention. -
FIG. 4 is another elevational view showing the fixing device of the present invention. -
FIG. 5 is a view showing that the power supply is fixed by the fixing device. -
FIG. 6 is an elevational view showing that the power supply is fixed by the fixing device. -
FIG. 7 is a schematic view showing the use of the fixing device. - The above-mentioned features and advantages of this invention, and the manner of attaining them, will become more apparent and the invention will be better understood by reference to the following description of embodiments of the invention taken in conjunction with the drawings.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 throughFIG. 4 , a screwless fixing device of the present invention is coupled with amachine case 2 so as to fix aproduct 3. - The
fixing device 1 has amain body 11, and aflange 111 is formed around themain body 11. Anoperating lever 13 is integrated with one side of themain body 11. Afastening part 12 is integrated with theflange 111 at a predetermined distance from one side of theflange 111 so as to form a gap therebetween. Because of the existence of the gap formed between the fasteningpart 12 and theflange 111, the elastic force is formed by the fasteningpart 12. Afastener 14 is integrated with themain body 11 and extended from the backside of themain body 11. Thefastener 14 has aflat cut edge 141 on one side. Acircular trench 142 is formed on the connected portion between thefastener 14 and themain body 11. - Referring to
FIG. 2 andFIG. 5 , themachine case 2 to which thefixing device 1 is mounted comprises anapplicable region 21. Ahanging plate 23 is mounted on one side of theapplicable region 21 for mounting theproduct 3 such as the power supply shown in theFIG. 5 . At least a hanginghole 22 is formed on the other side of theapplicable region 21. Each of the hangingholes 22 comprises areception hole 221 matched with the dimension of thefastener 14 and aconnection hole 222 abutting thereception hole 221. - As shown in
FIG. 2 andFIG. 5 throughFIG. 7 , thefixing device 1 is mounted on theapplicable region 21 so as to position the product 3 (power supply). When fixing theproduct 3 by use of thefixing device 1, thefixing device 1 is connected to one of the hangingholes 22 according to the size of theproduct 3. When hanging thefixing device 1 on one of the hangingholes 22, thefastener 14 of thefixing device 1 is first hung on thereception hole 221 of the hangingholes 22, and thecircular trench 142 is then applied to enable thefastener 14 to be hung on theconnection hole 222. By use of thecircular trench 142, thefastener 14 can be pivotally hung on theconnection hole 222 such that thefixing device 1 is rotatable. - When positioning the
product 3 by use of thefixing device 1, the right-angled lateral side of theproduct 3 is located to lean on themachine case 2. Next, theoperating lever 13 of thefixing device 1 is pulled to rotate thefixing device 1. As a result, thefastening part 12 is located to lean on theproduct 3. Because of the gap formed between the fasteningpart 12 and theflange 1 11 of themain body 11, the fasteningpart 12 can be elastically leant on theproduct 3. If there is a need to demount theproduct 3, thefixing device 1 is then rotated again to separate it from theproduct 3.
