Abstract

A screwless fixing device for fixing a product on a machine case having a hanging hole is disclosed. The screwless fixing device comprises: a main body; a flange formed around the main body; an operating lever integrated with one side of the main body; a fastening part integrated with the flange at a predetermined distance from one side of the flange so as to form a gap therebetween; a fastener integrated with the main body and extended from the backside of the main body; and a circular trench formed between the fastener and the main body to enable the fastener to be hung on the hanging hole of the machine case. As a result, the fastening part can be located to lean on the product by rotating the operating lever without the use of any screwing device. Consequently, the purpose of fastening can be achieved easily.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is related to a screwless fixing device for fixing a component on a machine case, and more particularly to a screwless fixing device with simplified assemblage for achieving the purpose of fastening without the use of any tool.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The component of the general electronic product is always fixed and positioned by screwing the screws. Accordingly, several screws must be screwed or unscrewed by use a tool during assembly or disassembly. In this manner, it is time-consuming. If no tool is available, it is hard to perform the assembly and the disassembly.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the continuous development and improvement of the inner structure of the computer host in the electronic industry, a screwless fixing device is disclosed for fixing the component preferably.
  • It is a main object of the present invention to provide a screwless fixing device for fixing a product such as power supply or other component by rotation. The purpose of fastening can be achieved easily without the use of any screwing device.
  • It is another object of the present invention to disclose a fastening part for fixing the product elastically, wherein a gap is formed between fastening part and the main body. As a result, the fastening part can be located to lean on the product elastically and to tightly position the product.
  • Other objects and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the drawings in which:
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is an elevational view showing the implementation of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is an exploded, elevational view showing the structure shown in FIG. 1.
  • FIG. 3 is an elevational view showing the fixing device of the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 is another elevational view showing the fixing device of the present invention.
  • FIG. 5 is a view showing that the power supply is fixed by the fixing device.
  • FIG. 6 is an elevational view showing that the power supply is fixed by the fixing device.
  • FIG. 7 is a schematic view showing the use of the fixing device.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • The above-mentioned features and advantages of this invention, and the manner of attaining them, will become more apparent and the invention will be better understood by reference to the following description of embodiments of the invention taken in conjunction with the drawings.
  • Referring to FIG. 1 through FIG. 4, a screwless fixing device of the present invention is coupled with a machine case 2 so as to fix a product 3.
  • The fixing device 1 has a main body 11, and a flange 111 is formed around the main body 11. An operating lever 13 is integrated with one side of the main body 11. A fastening part 12 is integrated with the flange 111 at a predetermined distance from one side of the flange 111 so as to form a gap therebetween. Because of the existence of the gap formed between the fastening part 12 and the flange 111, the elastic force is formed by the fastening part 12. A fastener 14 is integrated with the main body 11 and extended from the backside of the main body 11. The fastener 14 has a flat cut edge 141 on one side. A circular trench 142 is formed on the connected portion between the fastener 14 and the main body 11.
  • Referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 5, the machine case 2 to which the fixing device 1 is mounted comprises an applicable region 21. A hanging plate 23 is mounted on one side of the applicable region 21 for mounting the product 3 such as the power supply shown in the FIG. 5. At least a hanging hole 22 is formed on the other side of the applicable region 21. Each of the hanging holes 22 comprises a reception hole 221 matched with the dimension of the fastener 14 and a connection hole 222 abutting the reception hole 221.
  • As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 5 through FIG. 7, the fixing device 1 is mounted on the applicable region 21 so as to position the product 3 (power supply). When fixing the product 3 by use of the fixing device 1, the fixing device 1 is connected to one of the hanging holes 22 according to the size of the product 3. When hanging the fixing device 1 on one of the hanging holes 22, the fastener 14 of the fixing device 1 is first hung on the reception hole 221 of the hanging holes 22, and the circular trench 142 is then applied to enable the fastener 14 to be hung on the connection hole 222. By use of the circular trench 142, the fastener 14 can be pivotally hung on the connection hole 222 such that the fixing device 1 is rotatable.
  • When positioning the product 3 by use of the fixing device 1, the right-angled lateral side of the product 3 is located to lean on the machine case 2. Next, the operating lever 13 of the fixing device 1 is pulled to rotate the fixing device 1. As a result, the fastening part 12 is located to lean on the product 3. Because of the gap formed between the fastening part 12 and the flange 1 11 of the main body 11, the fastening part 12 can be elastically leant on the product 3. If there is a need to demount the product 3, the fixing device 1 is then rotated again to separate it from the product 3.
