Abstract

A bi-axial keyboard bracket is disclosed. The bi-axial keyboard bracket comprises: a slideable plate; a set of X-axis slideways; and a set of Y-axis slideways. The X-axis slideways are horizontally spaced out in a predetermined distance. Each X-axis slideway comprises: a fixed track having a trench; a shorter movable track mounted in the trench; and a connection plate movably embedded in the movable track. The Y-axis slideways are horizontally located between the X-axis slideways. Each Y-axis slideway comprises: a fixed track having a trench; a shorter movable track mounted in the trench; and a connection plate movably embedded in the movable track for connecting the slideable plate with the Y-axis slideways. Accordingly, the keyboard bracket can be pulled out or pushed back by shifting the slideable plate along the Y-axis slideways and the keyboard bracket can be shifted leftward or rightward by shifting the slideable plate along the X-axis slideways.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is related to a bi-axial keyboard bracket for a keyboard, and more particularly to a bi-axial keyboard bracket for adjusting the position of the keyboard in multiple directions.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The general personal computer system including the computer, the monitor and the peripheral equipments is mounted on the computer table. It is commonly seen that the monitor, the speaker, etc., are mounted on the table surface, and the keyboard is mounted on a push-pull type keyboard bracket. If there is a need to use the keyboard, the keyboard is pulled out for operation. If there is no longer a need to use the keyboard, the keyboard is pushed back to be hidden under the table surface.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, a set of slideways 10 is securely fixed under the table surface 20 of the conventional computer table. Accordingly, the keyboard bracket is merely provided with the push-pull function. As a result, for achieving the best use effect, the monitor must be adjusted to obtain the optimum view angle when the keyboard is in use. In other words, the keyboard bracket is merely provided with the push-pull function. As a result, if there is a need to shift the keyboard or if the operator is large in size, the usable angle of the keyboard bracket is significantly limited.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the foregoing drawbacks of the conventional structure, the present inventor discloses a bi-axial keyboard bracket for providing with widespread application and operation property, wherein the bi-axial keyboard bracket is not confined to the pull or push operation.
  • It is a main object of the present invention to provide a bi-axial keyboard bracket in which the keyboard bracket can be pulled out or pushed back by shifting the slideable plate along the Y-axis slideways and the keyboard bracket can be shifted leftward or rightward by shifting the slideable plate along the X-axis slideways.
  • Other objects and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the drawings in which:
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing the use of the conventional keyboard bracket.
  • FIG. 2 is an elevational view showing the bi-axial keyboard bracket of the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 is a decomposed view showing the bi-axial keyboard bracket of the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 is a schematic view showing the suitable application of the present invention.
  • FIG. 5 is an elevational view showing the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • The above-mentioned features and advantages of this invention, and the manner of attaining them, will become more apparent and the invention will be better understood by reference to the following description of embodiments of the invention taken in conjunction with the drawings.
  • Referring to FIG. 2, FIG. 3, and FIG. 5, a bi-axial keyboard bracket of the present invention comprises a set of X-axis slideways 1 and a set of Y-axis slideways 2. These slideways are mounted under the table surface 6 of the table to enable the keyboard bracket 5 to be moved in dual direction.
  • The X-axis slideways 1 are horizontally spaced out in a predetermined distance. Each of the X-axis slideways 1 comprises: a fixed track 11 having a trench 111; a shorter movable track 12 mounted in the trench 111; rolling balls (not shown) mounted between the fixed track 11 and the movable track 12 for smooth movement; a stopper 112 mounted on each side of the fixed track 11 to prevent the movable track 12 from out of the fixed track 11; and a connection plate 13 movably embedded in the movable track 12.
  • The Y-axis slideways 2 are similar to the X-axis slideways 1 and horizontally located between the X-axis slideways 1. Each of the Y-axis slideways 2 comprises: a fixed track 21 having a trench 211; a shorter movable track 22 mounted in the trench 211; rolling balls (not shown) mounted between the fixed track 21 and the movable track 22 for smooth movement; and a connection plate 23 movably embedded in the movable track 22.
  • The connection plates 13 mounted in the X-axis slideways 1 are designed for being fixedly connected to track brackets 3, respectively. These two track brackets 3 can be fixedly connected to both sides of the Y-axis slideways 2 so as to connect the Y-axis slideways 2 with the connection plates 13. Accordingly, the Y-axis slideways 2 can be shifted leftward or rightward along the X-axis slideways 1.
  • Referring further to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the connection plates 23 are designed for connecting a slideable plate 4 with the Y-axis slideways 2, wherein the slideable plate 4 is connected to the keyboard bracket 5. If the keyboard bracket 5 is pulled out for use, the peripheral equipment such as keyboard is mounted on the keyboard bracket 5 such that the operator can change the position of the keyboard bracket 5 randomly in accordance with the practical condition. Furthermore, by use of the track brackets 3, the keyboard bracket 5 can be shifted leftward or rightward along the X-axis slideways 1 to reach the optimum position. Consequently, the keyboard can be operated with more humanity.
