  • DETAILED DISCRIPTION
  • The present invention as shown in FIGS. 1-5 is a fingernail crab brush. FIG. 1 shows the decorative wall 10. The decorative wall is intended to vary in shape and is shown as an alternative shape in FIG. 5. The purpose of the decorative wall is to provide variations of aesthetic displays. The decorative wall will also provide a better rinsing process of the fingernails and brush block when placed directly under running water. This is because the running water will create a wider stream throughout the surface of the decorative wall and fingernails. Hence, providing a more comfortable and thorough rinse when manipulating the fingernails onto the scrub brush The decorative wall 10. can also be considered the base along with the housing wall 40. The decorative wall 10. Is relatively thinner than the housing wall 40. This is so the decorative wall may contour when mounted onto various shapes of basins. Graphic-displays onto the decorative wall 10. can be readily applied by one skilled in the art. Furthermore, a treatment of anti-microbial agents to the apparatus can also be readily applied by one skilled in the art. FIG. 1 also shows the two part scrub brush 20. The two-part scrub brush is displayed on opposite parallel sides. This is so the user may scrub on the more suitable side depending on their fingernail length. The longer bristles would be suitable for long fingernails, whereas shorter bristles would more effectively clean underneath fingernails of a short length, due to the lack of flexibility of the bristles. Variations of polymers cm be applied to the scrub brush, for example; a softer blend of polymers can be provided to better suite manicured nails.
  • FIG. 2 shows housing wall 40. intended for securing the brush block, and is also considered part of the base. FIG. 2 also shows a single suction cup 30. having an easy release tab 50. This will allow one to insert a finger through the tab and easily release the apparatus from its mounted area by peeling the suction cup from its edge, rather than pulling it off. The suction cup 30. is intended for mounting the scrub brush onto a sink or shower therefore, allowing the scrub brush to drip dry after use. Along with being conveniently located, this will also add a decorative touch to its mounted area. The single suction cup is also intended to serve as a handle to the user by either clutching or holding the suction cup in-between the fingers in a scissors-like position.
  • In the case of this invention the term universal applies to the versatility of the combined components of the apparatus. The decorative wall, intended to vary in display is considered universal. The single suction cup, which is for mounting the scrub brush will also serve as a handle to the user and is also considered universal. The two-part scrub brush, which is intended for effectively cleaning fingernails of various lengths and may vary in polymers, is also considered universal.
