Abstract
The “Dew Hat” has on the flaps (tails) on the top inside and outside of it, velcro strips. At the same time, we have also placed velcro strips to the inside and outside back rim of the baseball hat, on the left and right of the adjustment strap. The main purpose of this utility patent is to enable the owner to use the baseball hat in three manners. One way is with the thin flaps out to cover the back neck portion of the user. Secondly, is to enable the user to roll up the material and attach to the velcro strips hat. Thirdly, if the user wishes, because the material is so thin, (made of satin or thin material), to velcro the rolled up tails (flaps) to the inside of the back rim of the baseball hat, the user can then place the baseball cap on backwards (or forward again). This look is very popular. Please note. The baseball hats come in two versions—adjustable strap and no adjustable strap. The “Dew Hat” attachment is applicable to both types of baseball hats.
Description
- This utility patent is very unique and works as follows:
- The “Dew Hat” which is an attachment to a baseball hat works very simply. First you have the baseball hat which is standard. Now we add the satin or thin material as tails in the back for neck and sun block, along with a different look approach. Then the “Dew Hat” has on the flaps (tails) on the top inside and outside of it, velcro strips. At the same time, we has also placed velcro strips to the inside and outside back rim of the baseball hat, on the left and right of the adjustment strap.
- Now, the usefulness' of the utility patent is as such. When not wanting the look with the tails down in the back the owner has two options.
- 1—To roll the material mentioned up, and then attaching it to the velcro on the inside on the back rim of the baseball cap.
- 2—To roll the material mentioned up, and then attaching it to the outside of the back rim of the baseball hat. (cap).
- 3—The attachment to a baseball cap, are two separate tails (flaps) made up with thin light fabric (ex: satin). This is not one tail in the back, as it is two separate pieces on the left back, and right back of the baseball hat.
- 4—The purpose of using the thin material is to enable the user to roll it back up and attach it back to the hat either in the inside or outside, to wear the cap as a baseball hat again.
- 5—The two tails on the back of the baseball cap will be permanently attached to the hat, in the inside.
- The main purpose of this utility patent is to enable the owner to use the baseball hat in three manners. One way is with the thin flaps out to cover the back neck portion of the user. Secondly, is to enable the user to roll up the material and attach to the velcro strips on the outside of the baseball cap, so he or she may use again as a ordinary baseball hat. Thirdly, if the user wishes, because the material is so thin, (made of satin or thin material), to velcro the rolled up tails (flaps) to the inside of the back rim of the baseball hat, the user can then place the baseball cap on backwards (or forward again). This look is very popular.
- Please note that the three main important topics of the utility patent are the velcro strips on the flaps, and hat that enable the user to use the baseball hat in three separate ways. The other main aspect, is the very thin material used for the flaps, to enable the user to tuck the flaps up and under the inside back of the baseball cap, enabling the user to us it as a regular baseball cap (hat) (or on the outside).
- (This substitute specification does not contain any new matter and is identical to that which was submitted originally except for it now being double spaced)
