Abstract

The Gravity Fed Toilet Paper Dispenser is the simple answer to having toilet paper rolls conveniently available for use. It employs the use of gravity to move the toilet paper rolls down the shaft to the removal platform, or floor, of the dispenser. It also has an open face to allow users to view how many rolls are available and alert them to the need for restocking. The Gravity Fed Toilet Paper Dispenser can be made from any of a number of materials including light weight plastic, which would provide for reliable manufacturing of the item and low-cost for consumers. The Gravity Fed Toilet Paper Dispenser can be made in a variety of colors and would be suitable for residential, commercial, or public buildings.

Description

  • Side View:
  • The side view of the Gravity Fed Toilet Paper Roll Dispenser is provided. It shows that toilet paper rolls are dropped in the top (5¼″) from back to front. The toilet paper rolls would descend to the bottom of the shaft (22″) and rest on the floor of the dispenser.
  • The toilet paper roll that went in first would drop to the bottom and could be rolled forward to the lip of the dispenser, making it easy for someone to remove it from the dispenser. Toilet paper rolls that were placed in afterwards would simply rest, one on top of the other, until the bottom roll was removed. At that time each roll would move down the shaft by gravity until it is pulled forward onto the lip for subsequent removal.
  • The ½″ wall on each side of the floor keeps the rolls on track.
  • Front View:
  • The FRONT VIEW of the Gravity Fed Toilet Paper Roll Dispenser is provided. It shows the front or “face” of the toilet paper roll dispenser. It is wide enough (5½″) for rolls to be dropped down the shaft. The open front allows visibility of toilet paper rolls.
  • The ¾″ lip in the front stops rolls from falling out of the dispenser. The roll, once it rests against the lip, is ready for removal for use.
  • The 22″ height allows for several rolls to be placed in the shaft for storage and subsequent use.

Claims (4)
